A nice retelling of the King's coronation from the viewpoint of the last and very briefly Ruling Steward. Interesting that Faramir did not know that Aragorn planned to confirm him as the King's Steward.
No huge surprises here. Nice attention paid to Faramir's wardrobe - what does an outgoing ruler wear to his replacement's coronation? The Stewards have probably always kept to a look of understated elegance, and left the fashion statements to their Kings...Though there would be certain frocks the Stewards would keep for various occasions. I am surprised that Denethor didn't have more than one robe of state.
