!!!!!Chapter 3!!!!!
Hilary walked into subway and ordered her food and took a seat by Tiffany and Joel who were waiting for her. She sat down looking at them sighing. Joel and Tiffany looked at each other sensing something was wrong, “Hilary what’s up?” Joel asked
“Everything. I'm just so pissed off and I just want to get out of here!” she said taking a sip of her drink
“I'm thinking this has something to do with Billy right?” Tiffany asked looking at Hilary, “is here starting up more drama?”
Hilary nodded her head yes, “Yeah and he’s just making this even harder than it has to be! Firstly he doesn't want anything to do with Kandy or me and then about two years later he wants into our lives? I think he’s plotting something or something” she said getting agitated.
Tiffany shook her head, “I don't see why Billy is doing this anyway!”
“Because he's a jerk” Joel said putting it nicely
“He’s just trying to make my life even more miserable than it is now. I don't like him being around me. Yeah I know we have a child together but still! Why does everything have to be so fucked up?” she said pushing her food away from her, “I’m so angry right now I can’t even eat!”
Tiffany tilted her head watching Hilary studying her, “I’m sensing that you don't want to be around him because you're falling back in love with Billy aren't you?” she asked
Hilary sighed, “yeah you're right Tiff...” she said looking down at her hands, “but I cant trust him anymore. Look at what he did to me? Plus he has Linzi so I have no idea why he’s trying to wiggle his way back into my life! I'm surprised he didn't get her fucking knocked up! She’s only with him because he’s famous and has money!”
“Yeah you're right on that” Joel said agreeing with her
Hilary stood up grabbing her handbag, “well I'm gonna go back home and put Kandy to bed. I'll see you guys at school.” she said grabbing her food and drink, “I love you guys bye” she said blowing them a kiss and headed out the door and on her way home.
((At Hilary's House))
Hilary walked into the house setting her subway sandwich and drink on the coffee table in the living room, “mom! Are you home?” she yelled waiting for a response.
“Yeah I'll be right there” she called back.
Hilary sat down on the couch as her mother walked in with Kandy in her arms. She sat Kandy down on the coach next to Hilary. Hilary pulled her into a hug, “hi baby! Are you ready for bed?” she asked kissing her on the cheek
“Mama!” she said laying her head on Hilary's chest. Hilary smiled running her hand through her hair and rubbed her back with her other hand while she watched T.V.
Hilary's mom walked into the room, “Hilary are you ready for bed or are you staying up longer?” she asked whispering
Hilary looked down at Kandy who was asleep on her, “yeah I'm gonna head to bed since Kandy is sleeping”
“Do you need any help?” her mother asked looking at her
Hilary shook her head no, “I got it mom.” she said smiling as she got up carefully so she didn't wake Kandy up.
Hilary and her mom headed upstairs. Hilary walked into Kandy's room and placed Kandy in her crib and headed into her room falling asleep herself.
((Next Morning At School))
Hilary walked downstairs into the cafeteria where Joel and Tiffany were waiting for her. She grabbed a tray and put cut up fruit on it and started walking towards the table that her, Joel, and Tiffany usually sat. She walked up seeing a blonde girl sitting with Joel and Tiffany. She smiled sitting down next to Tiffany, “hey guys”
“Hey Hil, this is Savannah!” Tiffany said looking at Savannah, “Savannah this is Hilary!”
Savannah looked at Hilary and smiled shyly, “hey, its nice to meet you”
“Same here” Hilary said smiling, “so you're a senior in high school?” she asked
Savannah nodded, “yup a senior! I'm so happy and can’t wait to graduate and get out of here” she said smiling
“We are so with you on that” Joel said laughing
Tiffany looked up at Hilary, “hey Hil you wanna hang out with us after school?” she asked
“I would but I have to help my mom with some stuff but I'm free tomorrow” Hilary said eating a strawberry.
Joel smiled, “alright!” he said as the bell ringing.
Joel, Hilary, Tiffany, and Savannah all picked up their trays and headed to dump them. While they sat in line Hilary's eyes landed on Billy. Billy was surely looking at Savannah checking her out. Hilary rolled her eyes as she dumped her tray and started walking off with the others thinking to herself, “Sure Billy pick your next target! God! He needs to grow up” she said as she reached her locker. She grabbed her stuff and headed off to class with the others.
((Two Weeks Later In School))
Two weeks flew by in school and Savannah had become good friends with Hilary, Joel, and Tiffany. Yes she talked to the popular people but she wasn't as mean and snobby as they were. She was also becoming good friends with Billy.
Hilary, Tiffany, and Savannah sat in study hall chatting up a storm. Tiffany looked at Savannah, “So Savannah do you have a crush on anybody yet?” she asked
“Yes I do actually” she said smiling as she blushed lightly
Hilary smiled, “who’s the lucky guy?” she asked
Savannah's eyes trailed over to Billy’s table. She smiled looking at them, “Billy” Hilary was taking a drink of her water and started choking on it hearing Savannah's answer, “oh my gosh are you okay Hilary?!” she asked rushing over to her side as Tiffany did.
Hilary stopped choking nodding her head and looked at Savannah, “did you just say Billy as in Billy Martin?” she asked
“Uh yeah… is that bad?” Savannah asked confused
Tiffany looked at Hilary nodding her head at her. Hilary looked at Savannah, “Savannah you need to watch yourself around Billy. He likes to... what’s the word I should use... he like to use other girls to get what he wants and when he’s done with you he gets rid of you. He doesn't want anything to do with you afterwards. He’s not a nice person to get in a relationship with...”
“And he has a girlfriend anyways” Tiffany added
Savannah looked at them, “him and Linzi broke up a couple days ago and he seems to really like me. I'm sure he isn't like that to all girls” she said looking at the two girls
Hilary sighed looking at Savannah, “that’s what I thought when I first moved here. Everybody tried warning me but I wouldn't listen. I was one of Billy’s victims and yeah it wasn't pretty....” she said shaking her head
“Wow you know so much about Billy” Savannah said smiling
Hilary nodded her head in agreement, “yup I know a lot about Billy.” she said pausing, “Billy and I have a kid together” she said running her finger along the table
“You guys have a kid together?” she said in disbelief
“Yup we have an almost two year old. Her name is Kandy May Mathers. She’s so cute. She has my blonde hair and Billy’s icy blue eyes. Every time I look at her I'm reminded of Billy and it sucks” Hilary said smiling
“Oh my gosh she sounds so adorable! I've been to your house and I've never seen her” Savannah said confused
Hilary looked up at her smiling, “that’s because she’s in Detroit right now visiting my father. She'll be back this weekend”
Savannah smiled, “Aww! I bet Billy’s a wonderful father huh?”
“Actually he’s not. He didn't care about me or Kandy at all.” she said looking at her, “after I told him I was pregnant he broke it off with me because he didn't want to deal with the responsibility of having a kid. I was so devastated that I almost had two miscarriages throughout the whole pregnancy with her. I thank god everyday for saving Kandy. She means the world to me and I would hate to lose her.” she said looking at her hands, “and now Billy is trying to wiggle his way back into our lives after almost two years of him not wanting anything to do with us.”
Savannah covered her mouth, “oh my gosh that’s horrible! I can’t believe he would do such a thing!”
Hilary looked at her sadly, “yeah I know I couldn't even believe it myself. I kept trying to get Billy to come back to me but he wouldn't. He kept denying that Kandy wasn't his to his friends so he could keep his good reputation. He made everybody believe that I was just saying that Kandy was his because I wanted his money and fame” she said as anger rose in her voice, “I never wanted him for his money or fame! I have a fucking father who's a famous rapper! I just wanted my daughter to have a father in her life but no he didn't see it that way!”
Tiffany put her hand on Hilary's shoulder, “Hilary its okay. Don't get all upset again”
“Oh my fucking god what a pig! I can’t believe he would do such a thing! He disgusts me!” Savannah said getting angry
“You’re telling us” Tiffany said as the bell rang
The girls got up and headed towards their lockers to get their things for the next class they had. Savannah was headed to class when she ran into Billy. Billy smiled, “hey Savannah!”
Savannah shot him a glare, “Billy fucking Martin you disgust me!” she said turning and walking away leaving Billy standing in the hallway confused watching her walk away.
