1 month had passed and I was doing counselling, I was feeling much better and my wounds were all healing I' had been putting this weird-ass cream on them so the didn’t scar badly I didn’t mind if the Alicia one did but you know I didn’t want to be to much of a freak. Alicia and I had become much closer and we spend every waking moment together. She really understands but we are both under so much stress at the moment because of year 12 exams but we have prom in 1 week exactly!
‘What the fuck have I got now?’ I thought as I opened my locker, ‘music, cool’ I said as I locked the locker door. I walked away from my locker when I spotted Mikey, Gerard Ray and Bob waiting in the hallway for me.
‘Class if you will,’ Mr Margera our music teacher said at the start of the period ‘Make your way to the front of classroom so I can talk about the new class project we have.’ He said as Gerard groaned and walked to the front ‘Afternoon guys, today I have to put forward the new project that our class will be doing. It is called “rock band” You will be in a group of 4 or 5 and compose music as a band and winning band will play at this years prom because the theme is “rock” so get practicing and preparing’ he said as we all were processing information. ‘Like sir, I don’t like rock its so like emo can’t we like, well not do this?’ The ditzy cheerleader Emily said as Ray and Gerard glared at her ‘I'm sorry Emily but we can’t, its part of the syllabus’ she was now frowning and latched onto her stupid jock of a boyfriend. ‘On another note, who DOES know how to play a rock instrument?’ he asked as I slightly raised my hand, followed by Mikey, Bob and Ray. ‘Mr Iero, what do you play?’ he asked, we liked Mr. Margera he was always nice to us, you can tell he was ‘one of us’ in high school ‘I play guitar sir’ ‘What about you Michael?’ ‘Mikey sir, and I play bass’ ‘ooh very interesting Ray, Bob what do you play’ ‘Ray plays guitar and I play Drums’ bob responded slightly blushing ‘Yeah but they’re emo!’ Briana another cheerleader yelled out from across the room ‘at least I'm not a whore!’ I yelled back EVERYONE in the room quietly giggling ‘Enough! Gerard I have heard from past music teachers that you have quite a voice…’ he said slightly raising his right eyebrow ‘I guess?’ Gerard said looking at the floor ‘Well grab some music and come stand up the front kind sir, and sing!’ he said and Gerard went all googly eyed ‘In front of… everyone?’ ‘Of course, quick, quick’ Gerard stood up ‘what am I gonna sing?’ he asked ‘here, sing this’ I said grabbing ‘skylines and turnstiles’ from my bag, Gerard took it from me and walked up.

‘Hey guys, Mikey plays bass, Bob plays drums, Ray plays guitar, Gee can sing and I Play guitar Lets just be In the band together!’ I suggested as we all nodded and smiled ‘this is going to be awesome!’ Gee said as he walked over to the table grabbing bob drum sticks, ‘Well since Frank wrote lyrics already, why don’t we use his lyrics and we’ll play and sing them?’ Mikey suggested while adjusting his glasses. After agreeing to all suggestions we got started, and then Mikey yelled out ‘What the fuck are we called?’ ‘Ooooh I have an idea’ I said while I placed my guitar down, ‘My Chemical Romance ‘cause we’re always shit faced drunk’ I smiled feeling so proud of myself ‘Shit…That’s good’ bob said while smiling at me.
We sat down while I taught Gerard how to sing the song and wrote the music down for the guys to read. ‘hey guys, we should keep this band going even after school with Gerard’s amazing voice and us playing the music we could really go places!’ Ray said as we all nodded in agreement ‘that would be really good, that’s it My Chemical Romance’
At the Pizza joint
‘So my cousins from Chicago are coming to live in jersey from now on, I'm excited’ Alicia said as she took a bite out of her pizza. ‘Ooooh what are their names?’ Gerard asked ‘Their names are Audrey and Alexis’ she said and smiled ‘when are they coming? Are they already here?’ bob asked while trying to hide his blushing cheeks. ‘Bobbo giggles, they’re coming on Sunday’ Alicia said as my arms snaked around her hips and kissed her neck. ‘Well if they’re coming to live here, what school are they going to?’ Anita said confused ‘Oh they’re coming to Belleville with us! Isn’t that cool!’ all the girls were smiling and excited.
At School
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing the bell rung as we walked through the gates, Yesterday alicias cousins from Chicago finally arrived so weintroduced them to bob, ray, Sam and Mikey, Gerard came to the airport with us and so did Anita so they already knew them. Audrey and Bob, were getting alone REALLY well it was so obvious that he had a crush on her. Ray and Alexis also spent time together. I think they’ll finally have a girlfriend for the first time in what? Ever’ Audrey had Black and Pink hair, she was truly beautiful in a strange way, she had a different look and I think that what made her so confident, she was comfortable in her own skin. Alexis on the other hand was shy but STUNNING I stood with my mouth open as she walked over, She had black hair and bright blue eyes that looked like they were so deep you could drown in them. ‘all students in grade 12 make your way to the hall for an urgent announcement’ we walked slowly while wondering what it was about. ‘Prom,’ the vice principal said as he walked in front of us sitting in the grand stand. ‘As you all know prom is coming up soon, and everyone is getting ready, please pick your partners and buy your tickets, if anyone has an after party or is planning one please come to my office to approve plans. That is all. Go back to class!!’
We all walked out of the hall excited and nervous for Prom. ‘I gotta go! Miss Biddy hates me!! Especially if I'm late!’ We all said our good bye’s and left for class.
Alicia’s POV
As I walked over to the courtyard at lunch, everyone was buzzing about prom LAME. Like don’t get me wrong I'm so excited but seriously, its not THAT big, girls were crying for gods sake! I sat down and smiled when I saw Alexis holding Ray’s hand and turned to see… BOB and AUDREY making out! Ahhhh!!! ‘Guy’s your together?’ I laughed staring at them blush. ‘I'm not sure yet, shut up!’ Audrey said as she glared at me.
‘Sam?’ Mikey said adjusting his glasses ‘Yeah Hon?’ she said giving him a sweet smile ‘um…er…I'm not sure how to say this...but…can-you-come-to-prom-with-me?’ he quickly spat out ‘OMG yes!’ she smiled and hugged him giving a quick kiss on the lips.
‘GEE?’ Anita gave a sinister smile. ‘Will YOU come to prom with me?’ she asked ‘uh, uh,.uh YOUR not meant to ask me! I'm meant to fucking ask you! You make me feel gay now! Gawd!’ he shouted looking distraught ‘Fine, fine I knew you would react like that,’ she laughed looking a t him pout ‘Anita will you come to prom with me?’ ‘I thought you would never ask’ she laughed kissing him passionately. ‘Babe?’ Frank said looking at me ‘don’t worry Frankie; I’ll go to prom with you.’ I said giving him a quick kiss on the lips ‘Thank fuck! I was shitting myself’
‘Sooo speaking of prom, Audrey have you thought of whom you would like to go with?’ Anita smiled ‘um…well…bob kinda asked me today in class, we have maths together.’ She blushed ‘Yay!!!’ everyone shouted ‘and you Alexis?’ ‘Alexis is going with me smile’ ray said slightly blushing ‘Nawwwws’ gee said we all smiled and ate our lunch.
