‘Prom is in a day! Prom is in a day’ Anita sang as she linked arms with me and Samantha, Audrey and Alexis meeting us in the hallway. We were all waiting patiently, Today Frank, Mikey, Gerard, Bob and Ray were competing in that band competition to play at prom. They only told us a while ago and we were all really happy for them, I forget what the band is called. My...My chemical romance? Yeah that’s it! So yeah, they are playing now and its won by vote. Were not the most popular people ever so I'm not sure how far they’ll get I just hope people listen to the music and hear what the really have to say.
Franks POV
We stood infront of the class, we were all, well… shitting ourselves. At the moment I am soooooo scared. I picked up pansy and strummed her to see if she was in tune. Mr Margera indicated for us to start as a man walked in and apologised for being late, he sat next to sir as bob counted us in, We began with Skylines and Turnstiles and then our lady of sorrows. We also covered Reverse this Curse, My Apocalypse and Not good enough for the truth in cliché by Escape the fate. As we finished we stood there ready to be heckled or laughed at. But oddly enough, people were cheering and were happy for us. Can today get any better? Probably not.
2 Hours Later
‘Yewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!’ Mikey said jumping in the air high fiving me. ‘WE JUST WON THE COMP!!! We’re playing at prom tomorrow! People actually voted for us! Us! My chemical romance! I'm so excited! We have to go and tell the girls’
We walked toward the girls, they were waiting anxiously at the lockers when Gerard ran to Anita and gave her deep kisses. Mikey and Bob soon followed kissing Samantha and Audrey. Ray shyly walked over to Alexis and smiled, she smirked and grabbed his collar. We were all kissing and then Alicia looked at me. We stared at each other and she practically ran into my arms. We made out passionately infront of everyone but we didn’t care. ‘Wait! Do you want to here what happened’ Mikey said ‘We won!’ he screamed laughing all of us ecstatic we made our way to the tables and benches in the courtyard.
‘It was so fucking scary’ Ray said Alexis smiled and rubbed his thigh
‘I'm so happy, but wait! Who was that guy next to Mr. Margera?’ I asked looking at Gerard and Mikey
‘I'm don’t know to tell you the truth’ we dropped the subject and ate our lunch little did we know who that man was…
Alicia’s POV
The bell rang really loud, Mr Valo, the vice principal, shouted at us telling us to get to the hall for a meeting. We were all walking as he told us to hurry up. Typical!
‘Daniel Stevens, Katie Ericson, Adrian Calsro, Megaan Peterson, Jon Thompson, Janaya Lesley, and… Frank Iero and Alicia Simmons Make your way to the office, ASAP if you do not make your way here quickly there will be consequences, have a nice day’
What the fuck? What did we do? It’s probably about yesterdays fight…SHIT!
Anita’s POV
‘Prom…Prom is tomorrow ladies and Gents, as you all know, proms need Prom Kings and Queens. These are your slips. fill ‘em out’ the VP screamed as we got a piece with the nominees. ‘Where the fuck did Frank and Alicia go?’ I thought as I looked at the paper
Gerard and I looked at each other then I looked at Mikey and Samantha who were staring at us
‘FUCK!’ Gerard said as I looked at the page again
‘OHEMGEE! There nominated! Who the fuck nominated them?’ Mikey said his voice shaking and slightly shocked.
‘Well I hate Daniel and Katie and I don’t like the others so I may aswell just vote for Frank cause he bashed Daniel and Alicia cause she stuck up for herself when she fought with Katie so fuck it’ I heard a guy from our class say behind us soon later we heard heaps of people saying similar things as we passed them into the box.
‘Everyone! We will make an announcement in the next half an hour and tell you your winners for 1996! Now get to class!’ he shouted as we looked at eachother,
‘what a time not to be here,’ Gerard said fixing his bag0
‘yeah I know, where are Alicia and Frank?’ Mikey asked as he linked arms with Sam
‘We’ll soon Find out…’ Audrey said as she hugged us and ran to her locker
30 minutes later EXACTLY
‘Students, LISTENING’ someone said over the PA’ we were all quiet as we waited anxiously
‘Your Queen and King for prom 1996 are… Frank Iero and Alicia Simmons! Congratulations all nominees and Alicia and Frank… Don’t stuff it up!’ he yelled as we jumped on top of Bam and Frank.
‘OH FUCK!’ Frank screamed as he lifted Alicia off her feet
‘DON’T YOU MEAN WHAT THE FUCK!’ Alicia said as she jumped into franks embrace
‘OMG I'm so happy’ she said as the couple kissed in front of the class, they felt tapping on there shoulders and looked around, People had walked up to them to congratulate them it was as If they were all… friends. Everything was going well today, MCR made the cut and now they’re king and queen!
‘I voted for you Frank and Alicia’ a girl said smiling at us
‘so did we’ a guy said shaking franks hand and kissing Alicia’s
What a day, The best day actually.
At Audrey’s
‘Toast, to the king and queen’ Gerard said holding his apple juice up
‘You’re such a douche bag Gee’ Frank said giggling as he took a sip of his red bull. ‘I cant believe we won’ Alicia said smiling ‘thanks for voting for us guys, Audrey and Gerard looked at each other and laughed ‘Audrey and I didn’t vote for you, we wanted Jon and Janaya to win, thanks guys’ he said sarcastically as Alicia pouted and through pillows at them.
‘Well I'm going home with Alicia to celebrate, my parents aren’t gonna be home for another 3 hours so I'm going to have some fun’ Frank smirked wickedly
Tonight was going to be a late night.
