"I know you think you love Tommy, and maybe you do, but you're not in love with him, Vince, and he isn't in love with you. I know that he has feelings for me and I love him more than anything. Well, him and Mick. Tommy's right, Vince. You two are not meant to be. That would be one destructive relationship. I don't want to hurt the two of you, but you've got to face the truth." Nikki said.
He felt Vince relax against him and he let him go, allowing Vince to turn around. "Nikki, you're right. Thanks." was all Vince said, then turned and walked back into his hotel room. Nikki stared after him, wondering what the fuck was wrong with him. He had expected more of a fight out of the singer. Instead, all he got was a "You're right, thanks" and Vince had walked away leaving Nikki in the hallway, confused.
With Mick and Nikki
Mick slipped back into his own room when Nikki threw open the main door, seething. "What's wrong?" Mick asked. "Fuckin' Vince. I hate him. We talked and then I tell him he's not right for Tommy and he says, "You're right. Thanks." and leaves. What the fuck is that about? Asshole." Nikki flopped down on the bed, sulking. "Let him work it out for himself. You know he's stubborn. We all are." Mick sat down next to Nikki and began running his fingers through his hair in an attempt to calm him down.
With Vince and Tommy
"Tommy, wake up." Vince shook the drummer gently. Tommy moaned softly and blinked up and Vince. "What's wrong?" he murmured. "I don't think we should be together anymore." Vince decided to be blunt. "Oh." Tommy sighed. "Oh?" Vince asked. "Well, I can't say I didn't see this coming, 'cause I did, but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt, 'cause it does." Tommy said. "I'm sorry." Vince offered. "Don't be. It's for the best anyway." He smiled weakly up at Vince.
