Today, as expected, Harry Potter, slayer of Voldemort, was elected Minister of Magic in a landslide vote.
After the kidnapping and brutal murders of Ronald and Molly Weasley at the hands of the Death Eaters, Harry Potter rescued Ginerva Weasley and Hermione Granger, whom he eventually married and took as his First Wife in a move that enraged Pureblood's everywhere. During the rescue, Minister Potter apparently confronted and slew the Dark Lord Voldemort and decimating his forces. In the process, he also vanquished many key Death Eaters, including Lucius Malfoy; while others he captured and appears to have rehabilitated.
This reporter and this paper wish the new Minister of Magic a happy and peaceful term in office.
