Natalie's POV

After checking into another hotel, everyone decided to meet up at the bar for a few drinks. Yeah well I wasn't in the mood. I was jetlagged, and still salty about the way Mike treated me on the plane, so all I wanted to do was take a hot shower and climb in between the sheets.

“Hey Nat. Are you coming with us? I'm going to our room to change and then we're all going out.” Taylor grinned at me as we boarded the elevator. 'We' as in Her, William, Sisky and I. I shook my head.

“I don't think so guys. I'm really tired. I didn't sleep well on the plane.”

Sisky frowned. “Aww, none of us slept well but we're still going! Come on Nat, just for a-”

He was interrupted by someone's hand being shoved in between the elevator doors, and them opening again.

“Hey, um everyone.”

I looked up and noticed Ryan Ross, the guitarist from PATD boarding the elevator wheeling his suitcase behind him.

“Ryan!” Sisky and William cheered. I offered up little more than a small smile, then turned back to face front, relieved they now had someone else to corrupt. Bill introduced us all anyway. Taylor as 'Their merch girl', and myself as 'Their personal stylist'. I laughed because I hadn't even had a hand in his or any other member of the band's hair yet.

The three guys made small talk until we got to the out floor. Taylor grabbed my arm and I almost dragged her down the opposite corridor.

“Hey, Taylor, try and get Nat to come out huh? We'll see you guys later.” Bill winked at her and headed into the other direction.

“No.” I sighed, sitting down on the bed and lifting my suitcase up to find my pajamas.

“Oh, c'mon, Nat. What is the real reason you don't wanna go?” She shut the door behind us and nearly dived into her suitcase. I guess to find her outift for the night. Well there was only one outfit I wanted.

“Because I'm tired and to be honest, I don't want to hang around those assholes when they aren't paying me...” I trailed off and yanked a gown and my toiletries out with a scowl.

She turned toward me and stared a second before replying. “You could always have said no, you know? But you didn't, and you could at least enjoy it.” She collected her outfit, paused and smirked. “Besides, TAI aren't the only ones going... those cute little kids from panic will be attending too.”

I rolled my eyes. “Not interested. But have fun. The one from the elevator looks right up your alley. As long as Bill doesn't catch you doing shit.”

“One sugar daddy at a time. I might consider joining Panic on tour next time, but what I have now is enough.” She giggled. “And what do you mean by that anyways?”

“What do you mean what do I mean?” I shrugged and pulled my hair down, combing it with my fingers. “He looks like your type. And no, I didn't you notice you staring at him on the way up. So don't worry.”

“I was trying to be nice! After all I was introduced as ‘the merch girl’. William deserves a lesson for it.” Tate smirked.

I sighed. “Yeah well just watch your back, and have a drink for me.”

She fell beside me on the bed then. I knew she wasn't going to give up that easily. “C'mon Nataliiiieeeee. You can't just lock yourself up in here. Come on out, or I'll be kicking your ass back to the States in the morning.”

I gave her another hard sigh. I REALLY wasn't in the mood to socialize. Too much on my mind, I really didn't think I should go shitting up everyone else's good time.

“Taylor... I'm just... Don't want to fuck up anyone else's good time, ok?”

“And if I pout?” She began to pout overdramatically then. “Pweeeease? Pretty, pretty, pwease??”

“Oh my god!!” I groaned. “Fine, fine. But I'm not promising to be nice.”

She grinned at my answer.

“I knew that would work!” She giggled, kissing my forehead and hopping up and into the small bathroom to shower. I groaned again and threw my nightgown down, digging into my suitcase again not looking forward to this little outing at all.

Deciding on a plain pair of low-rise jeans, sneakers and a cute top I showered and dressed after Taylor was finished. I was wrapping up the blowdrying of my hair in the bathroom mirror while she applied her make up when there was a fierce beating at the door. “That would probably be for you.” I said, rolling my eyes yet again.

Us, we're both going.” She went to open the door, and I heard her giggle. “Oh I see, it's for us both, Nat!!” Curiosity got the better of me and so I peeked around the corner to see her let Bill and Mike into our room. I was furious that the sight of his face could manage to get me so upset. Literally, I was biting down on my lip as hard as I could to keep from saying something I couldn't control.

“Like I said,” I muttered under my breath. “It's for you.” I heard the sound of a wet kiss being shared and then Bill asking if we were ready. Taylor's voice got low as she answered him. “I can still hear you!” I called out to her, using a little pomade to slick my hair down straight.

Taylor chuckled. “Just a minute... you tagging along?” I heard her ask.

“No. And neither is Nat...” Mike replied.

William chuckled.

Wait... what?

I screwed up my face and entered the bedroom, hands on my hips. “Wait, what's going on here?”

“You're not going,” He shrugged. “I'm not going out with the guys and neither are you. I mean, I came cause I knew you wouldn't be going.” He smirked and I wanted to knock the cocky grin clear off of his face. Taylor had the same sediment obviously, because Bill was now holding her arms.

“Easy, honey.”

I just laughed if I hadn't been on board for going out before, I was [i]definitelyi] on board now. “That's really funny. You can't tell me what I'm going to do. I'm not on your payroll right now.” I rolled my eyes at him condescendingly and dapped on a hint of gloss.

“What if I ask you to stay then?” Mike smiled, which only seemed to piss Taylor off worse.

“Oh, I'm going to get him... I’m going to get him...” She fumed.

“I think we better let them talk about that.” Bill said, as he started pulling her towards the door.

“No way, Nat is coming with [/us
.”

“That's right. Sorry Carden. I have plans that I don't intend to break.” I took out my favorite earrings and slid them on, brushing past him on my way towards the door.

Taylor glared at him.

“Well can we at least talk?” Mike added, grabbing my wrist painfully and raising an eyebrow.

“You should have talked to me on the 9 hour flight that you didn't utter a single word on.” I yanked my wrist away and staggered backward.

“Tay, honey. That won't help anything.” Bill's soft voice soothed.

“Shut up...” She glared at William and then turned to me. “I'll be outside, shout if you need help.”

“No, I'm coming now. Anything Mike has to say can wait.” I glared at him a little and turned back towards Tay and Bill.

Taylor smiled widely and linked her arm with mine. “Great! Let's go have some fun.”

“And what did I do?” Bill asked, watching us walk away.

I snorted and stared back at Mike just as hard as he was glaring at me. “You're siding with Mike for starters. And I'm only going out because Taylor asked me. So that's like, fucking up her fun...”

William groaned and followed us. “Taylor!” He whined making Taylor chuckle.

“Like a trained puppy.” I giggled, whispering.

She laughed, and I told her to go have a talk with him and I'd meet them in the lobby. While they headed in the opposite direction, I took one last look towards our room where we'd left Mike, paused for a second, then sighed, finally pushing the button for the elevator.

Taylor’s POV

I rolled my eyes at Natalie, but I turned around anyways and followed William’s puppy face a little further into the corridor while Nat waited for the elevator.

“What did I do?” He asked again.

“Nat answered you, honey.” I said leaning on the wall. “And it kind of made me uncomfortable after I was presented as ‘Merch’, you know?” William groaned.

“I can't believe you took that personally! Newsflash, honey... you ARE the merch girl.”

“Really? After spending 4 hours a day for 5 fucking months fixing and selling shit it hadn’t struck me.” I said as calm as I could, otherwise, we’d be in trouble. “I have a name, unless you forgot it somewhere in between the plane ride and here. Cause sure you said it a lot.”

“I said your name!” He tried to defend himself, and groaned again at my skeptic face. “Okay I’m obviously missing something. Really, what is this about?”

“You know what? Whatever. We’re going to be late and Sisky gets annoying when we are.” I sighed and shook my head, walking back to the elevator where Nat disappeared not long before. William followed me a second later, sighing.

“Fine. Let's forget about it. I already have.” He said pushing the elevator button.

“Awesome…” I replied expressionless, watching the little lights turn on and off till the doors opened. William sighed in defeat and followed me into the elevator.

“Okay, Taylor…”

Once we reached the first floor I automatically looked for Nat, but instead I found the “cute Panic boy” from earlier and smiled instantly. Ryan Ross. He’s just so adorable I couldn’t help smiling… which was odd enough, seeing I barely smile.

“Finally! I was about to storm into your room and drag you out!” Sisky greeted us, clearly not noticing the tension between us. I smirked and shook my head, falling besides Natalie on the lobby’s couch.

“Oh, shut up.” I heard William say before he dragged Adam to the little gang composed by some crew guys, more Panic and Chislett.

Nat looked at them and then at me. “What happened to him?”

“Nothing.” I replied. “And that might be the problem.” I added with a chuckle, making Nat roll her eyes.

“Sounds like the two of you could stand some time apart anyhow.”

I just rolled my eyes at the comment; I couldn’t say anything because the guys waved at us, letting us know the van was ready. The ride was fast and silent, except for some random music the radio was playing. By the time we got there, William’s eyes were drilling holes on the side of my skull, but I was determined to not let him see his hold on me. I wasn’t ignoring him, but I wasn’t all over him either. Instead I started a nice conversation with Ryan and Jon Walker, while Nat and Brendon Urie showed off the best of their ADHD.

“I’m going out for a smoke, be right back.” I excused myself above the giggles, checking on fairly drunk and glaring William.

As I stepped outside I welcomed the fresh air on my cheeks and lit up a smoke. I hadn’t quite enjoyed the first drag when a lanky figure slumped on the wall beside me, pulling the smokes out of his pocket and taking my smoke from my lips to light his own.

“I was smoking that in case you didn’t notice.” I said plainly.

“I realized. That’s why I did it.” William slurred giving me my smoke back. “Saw you having a good time in there.”

“It was entertaining…” I said like I didn’t catch the jealousy of his tone. “Are you having a good time?”

“Yes… No…” He blew out smoke when I looked at him, eyebrow raised.

“Alright then…” I chuckled, taking another drag. William sighed and flicked the smoke to the ground.

“Are we okay?” He asked, burying his hands on his pockets.

“Why wouldn’t we be?” I questioned uninterested.

“Just asking, you’ve been pretty much ignoring me since we left the hotel.” He mumbled the last part. I chuckled slightly.

“And in which part of my contract does it say that I have to be hanging from your neck the whole tour? I’m the merch girl, remember?” I said throwing the smoke to the ground and smashing it with my foot.

“I don’t have to remind you who made you have that contract though…” He said biting the words. Now I was pissed.

“You’re going there?” I said bitterly, crossing my arms and glaring at him. “You know why I’ve been ignoring you? So you can realize that I’m here and I agreed to this cause I wanted to. I don’t need the money or the job and certainly don’t need you to get me either of those.” By this time I was poking his chest with my index finger. “So you better remember that before acting like you own me.”

“What? I don’t act like I own you!” He said glaring down at me. Him and his 6 extra inches… “You knew what the rules would be before you agreed to this. We don’t flaunt our relationship. We don’t talk about Christine. What was I supposed to tell him?”

“You weren’t ‘supposed’ to tell him anything! Just--” I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down and rubbed my eye. “I know we don’t talk about our relationship, I know exactly why I’m here and I’m fine playing by your rules, cause honestly I don’t give a fuck. I have nothing to lose. I just want you to know that this…” I stopped to point him and then me. “…goes both ways. This doesn’t happen only because you want, it does because we both do. So the day I don’t want it, I’ll just pack my shit and leave.”

William sighed and looked at me biting his lip. “I get it. Now can we stop arguing about it? Please?” He said giving me the puppy eyes and stroking the back of my hand. “We came out to have a good time, and if your plans don't include me tonight... that's fine too.”

I was still kind of pissed, but I didn’t wanna fight. “Okay…” I said with a sigh. William squeezed my hand and pulled me closer.

“I hope they do include me later though.” He whispered on my ear. I rolled my eyes and backed away a little. “Only if you want…” He said quickly, as if I’d say no. “No pressure.”

“We’ll see.” I said plainly before releasing his hand. “You have your own room?”

“No, I’m pairing with Mike, but I can kick him out.” He said stuffing his hands into his pockets and getting another smoke. He offered me the box as I blinked in realization.

“You ain’t sending him to my room. Are you?”

“Honestly? I don’t give a fuck if he sleeps in the lobby as long as I have the room for myself.” He said sipping smoke. “Though it isn’t a bad idea. Those two need to get things straight. Mike is driving me crazy…”

I smirked and raised an eyebrow. “Really? And why is that?”

“Oh, no.” William said smiling. “You’re not playing mind games with me. Cause I know the first thing you’ll do is telling Natalie. Mike is my friend and I won’t rat him out.”

“Okay.” I shrugged, knowing he wouldn’t tell me anything… yet. But with what he already said I knew I had to find Nat and tell her. Besides, it was kind of obvious that whatever I said I would end up in William’s room anyways, leaving Mike to either make peace and talk to Natalie or, sleep in the lobby. I smashed the cigarette with my foot and sighed, rubbing my arm. “I’m going back inside; I said I wouldn’t be long…” I stepped on my tiptoes and kissed William cheek before he had a chance to ask. “I’ll let you know…”

I patted his face gently and made my way back inside and to the table where everyone was. Natalie wasn’t there, but it didn’t take me long to find her, dancing with Brendon Urie in the middle of the dance floor.
