Natalie’s POV

I felt really bad for Taylor. She’d put so much into the “relationship”, if you could call it that, with Bill. It didn’t seem fair that she was in so much pain and to be honest I was a little pissed off.

I showered and dressed, leaving Taylor in bed taking a nap and went downstairs to the lobby. It was loud and swarming with middle aged men in suits. I didn’t notice anyone from the tour, probably because they were all still asleep. I went into the lobby restaurant alone when I heard my name being called.

“Hey, Natalie!”

Turning around slowly I spotted none other than Brendon sitting back in a corner along with another one of his band mates. I couldn’t remember his name. They waved when they saw I noticed them and I waved back.

“Hey! Come over here, come over here and join us!”

I hesitated at first, a little embarrassed about what had almost happened the night before, but I knew he wouldn’t make me feel uncomfortable about it so I walked over and had a seat.

We ate breakfast and discussed what they would be doing if they hadn’t joined their band and to my surprise, Brendon was very interested in being a hair stylist. Right after having a landscaper job, though. But still!

The three of us, Brendon, Spencer and I, sat talking for a long time, but then Brendon remembered that I owed him a haircut. I laughed, but was soon walking with him to the elevators and to his room to do it. It, like give him a haircut. Not like... him. I sat him down in the bathroom on the toilet and wrapped a towel around his shoulders, giving him a nice trim. It was sort of awkward, with his eyes on me, but I managed to get it done.

“Are you nervous?” He chuckled.

“What? No. I do this all the time. Why would I be nervous?” I scoffed, gathering a bit of his soft hair in between my fingers and trimming the ends.

“You just seem a little... nervous.” He shrugged.

“Well, I’m not,” I smiled. “And you’re all done.”

He smiled back at me and got up to admire himself in the mirror. After raving for a couple minutes, Spencer decided he needed a bit of a trim himself. I finished him up and we goofed around until it was time to board the vans to get to the venue. Spencer basically kicked the both of us out on our asses after he’d gotten on the phone with Haley, his girlfriend, stating that we were way too loud.

Leaving the room laughing at him, and obviously enjoying each other’s company, we decided to take a walk back down to the lobby where we ran across into another odd pair...

Taylor and Ryan.

And she was smiling.

She sat beside him in the van, while Brendon and I sat in back, discussing the two of them. When we got to the venue, we all went separate ways, Taylor to set up the merch table, Brendon, Ryan, Spencer and Jon to have “group session” as they called it. Word around (And when I saw word around I mean Gabe) is that “group session” time is code for “smoke a big ass joint”.

“Hey Nat, the boys are waiting for you in their green room.” Tony told me as he whizzed past with the set list.

“Why? They all seem to like the ‘I just rolled out of bed’ look just fine.” I snorted. Tony shook his head and disappeared.

“Go and do what you actually get paid to do.” Taylor said rolling her eyes.

I snorted. “Sure I will. And I’ll expect details on the little conversation you had earlier when I come to the booth.” She shook her head and shrugged me off and I laughed at her before sauntering down the corridor. And I almost got lost trying to find TAI’s green room

I found Bill and Sisky in there alone and I made sure Bill saw me roll my eyes when I looked at him, but he climbed into my chair anyway.

“So… heard you had a… situation, last night.” I said, picking up a brush for his hair.

“Look, Nat... It’s not like...”

“I know everything Bill...” I snapped, then lowered my voice. “About Christine too...”

He jerked around in the seat, staring up at me, and I stared right back at him, challenging him to say anything. By that time, the rest of the band made it in. Including Mike. William sighed and turned back around, allowing me to brush his mane while they all talked and he attempted to warm up.

“We’re crashing cars we used to share, with summer girls with summer... ouch!” He cried when I “accidentally” pulled a little too hard.

I held in a snicker, and he pouted.

“You okay Bill?” Mike asked from behind his Maxim.

“Fine.” He sneered behind gritted teeth.

I giggled, making Mike look over at us questionably. I rolled my eyes at him, scoffing and continuing Bill’s hair. The door swung open, and expecting Tony or one of the security team, I didn’t look up. But William’s did. I tugged on the end of his hair before realizing it was Taylor who walked in.

She waved to everyone, well, seemingly everyone, except Bill. “Has anyone seen the medium size boxes?” She asked.

“You might want to check the Cobra dressing room. Sometimes they get mixed up.” Sisky told her, snacking on a mini pizza. William watched her expectantly.

Taylor huffed and grabbed another box. “Damn it! Thanks anyway.” She replied before leaving the room, still ignoring Bill. He sucked his teeth in disgust and got up out of the chair, leaving me standing there with a raised eyebrow as he went into the restroom.
