Chapter 2-possessive
The next day, Rachel was filled with doubts about what she’d done with Mr. Reynolds. What if he’d just wanted to sleep with her to see what it was like? All through the school day, she was muddled and insecure about what they’d done. Her friend Margot continued to eye her suspiciously, but she didn’t say anything. At lunch their friend, Andrew, sat down at their table with a grin. Rachel had sometimes wondered what it would be like to date Andrew, but now she didn’t want to know. She wanted to only know Mr. Reynolds, but she was so confused. Andrew looked over at Rachel and raised an eyebrow.
“Hey, Rae, are you okay? You seem kind of out of it today.” Rachel looked up at him in surprise.
“I’m fine, just a little tired. I stayed up really late studying for that stupid math test.” Andrew grinned and nodded.
“I know what you mean, math is the worst. So, what are you ladies doing this weekend? I was thinking maybe our usual of horror film, popcorn, and mockery?” Rachel chuckled at his words. It was customary for them to get together and bash B horror films. Margot has been Rachel’s friend since middle school. She’d been getting picked on by a group of kids and Margot stepped in. They’ve been inseparable ever since. Unlike Rachel, Margot is very outlandish. She loves colors and wears very expensive clothes, so the fact that she hung out with Rachel, meant something. She was taller then Rachel, standing at 5’8, she had a pixie hair cut that was dyed black. She also had absolutely zero body fat on her. She looked up from her plate with a grimace.
“Guys, I can’t this weekend, I have a date with Todd.” Rachel rolled her eyes. Todd was the captain of the basketball team and he was a complete jerk.
“God, I can’t believe you’re still dating him, Margot!” Margot sighed and looked down.
“He’s really not that mean when it’s just the two of us. It’s only when he’s around his cronies…I’m working on him.” Andrew sighed too, but then looked over at Rachel hopefully.
“We can still hang out if you want, Rae, my date calendar is free.” Rachel giggled at her friend. Andrew wasn’t bad looking, he had spiky red hair, he was kind of short for a guy at 5’6, but he had a good build. She loved spending time with him.
“Sure, that sounds like a plan. You picked an actual scary movie last time, don’t do that again. It defeats the purpose of the night’s events.” Andrew chuckled and nodded.
“I’ll pick something stupid, I promise.” Rachel laughed again and got up to go to her Poetry class. When she turned around, she saw that Mr. Reynolds was standing only a few feet from her, talking to Mr. Vargas…the principal. That would definitely explain the frown he had on his face. Rachel grabbed her tray and back pack and walked down the hall.
When class started, she noticed that Mr. Reynolds wasn’t looking at her much. She blushed furiously whenever he did because he seemed to be shooting daggers at her. Rachel shifted uncomfortably halfway through class and tried to focus on the poem they were supposed to be reading. When the bell rang, she quickly grabbed her things and walked out of the room. She didn’t give him a chance to pull her aside, she just darted out of the classroom. She had no idea why he was being so…well, she didn’t actually have a word for it. She paused at her locker to deposit the books she wouldn’t need for that night’s homework and started for the door. She was so close when a girl from her class, Julie or something like that, stopped her.
“Hey, you’re Rachel, right?” Rachel turned to face the girl, not meeting her eyes.
“Yes, I am.” She nodded and adjusted her backpack on her shoulder.
“Right, well, Mr. Reynolds asked me to come and get you. He said he needs to discuss a poem he’s going to submit or something, I’m not sure. He just asked that you go to his office.” Rachel nodded and tried to smile at the girl. She could ditch, she didn’t have to go. School was over, and she couldn’t get in trouble for not going…right? Groaning, Rachel walked back down the hallway to his classroom and walked in. He wasn’t in the main room, so she headed in the back of the room and knocked on his office door. She was about to turn around when she heard a gruff “come in.” She tentatively opened the door and peeked in. Mr. Reynolds looked up from his desk with a scowl.
“Well, come in, I haven’t got all day.” Rachel stood up straight and walked fully into the room. Without so much as getting up, he spoke.
“Shut the door please…lock it.” Rachel’s pulse quickened at his words, but she remained rooted on the spot. He looked up, exasperated, and practically scolded her.
“Well come in, nothing’s going to happen, I just need to talk to you in private.” Rachel nodded and walked forward to sit in the chair by his desk. He finished writing and looked up…kind of bored.
“Are you okay?” Rachel had no idea what he was talking about. He was treating her like a…like a child. Rachel, furious, stood back up.
“I’m fine, thank you, all is well. I have to go, I’m babysitting tonight.” She turned on her heel and started back towards the door. She only got about two steps when she heard a chair scrape and she was spun around to face him. In the process, she dropped her backpack on her foot, which caused her stumble forward. He caught her and righted her back up, this time his expression looked tortured.
“So that’s it then? I thought you wanted to see me, you know…more then what we did yesterday.” Rachel looked up at him confused and wondered what he was talking about.
“I do, I don’t understand where this is coming from.” In an instant, he crashed his lips down onto hers. Rachel was shocked, but soon started kissing him back, wrapping her arms around his neck. She sighed into his mouth when he slipped his tongue past her lips. They stayed that way for a few minutes, tongues battling each other, until air became a problem and they broke apart. He held her close as he panted, trying to bring oxygen in. She lifted her head to look into his gorgeous green eyes.
“Mr. Reynolds, what’s going on? Why are you so upset?” He chuckled and pulled back a little, but he kept his arms firmly wrapped around her.
“Please, Rachel, call me Ethan when we’re alone. I don’t know what happened, the green monster of jealousy popped up I guess.” Rachel flushed at what he said. Jealous?
“That’s what I don’t understand, why were you jealous?” He did pull away then, a dull pink creeping up his neck.
“I don’t know, I saw you laughing with your friend at lunch. Then I heard you making plans with him this weekend, and I kind of went crazy.” Rachel started at him in wonder…he was jealous of Andrew?
“Mr. Reynolds, Andrew and I are just friends, it’s not like that. The movie thing is just a tradition that we do, it’s not a big deal.” He looked back up at her with a smile.
“Ethan, Rachel, Ethan. Yes, I know it’s not a big deal, I just…I’m a bit possessive of you, which isn’t good. I couldn’t stop thinking about you all day, I actually screwed up in one of my classes today, again…not of the good.” Rachel didn’t like the sound of where this was going, it sounded like he was…breaking things off after only a day. She stepped away from him, trying to hide her hurt. Maybe this was just a bad idea all the way around. If this situation was affecting his job, they needed to stop…only there wasn’t much to stop. Rachel took a deep breath to calm her nerves before looking back at his trouble face.
“Mr.-…er…Ethan, I’m sorry that this has gotten out of control. I should have walked out yesterday, but I couldn’t, and…” Before she could say anything else, she was pulled into another earth shattering kiss. His arms went around her waist and down to her bottom, which he grabbed and pulled her to him. She let a moan slip past and threaded her hands in his hair. He continued to kiss her for what seemed like forever, and the butterflies that Rachel had in her stomach, disappeared. He lifted his head finally and broke the kiss. When he looked at her again, he was smiling brilliantly, which made Rachel smile too.
“God, my name sounds awesome on your mouth. I wouldn’t have been able to stop yesterday either…it was either have you or explode.” Rachel trembled at his words and she leaned into him when he started trailing kisses down her neck. He reached for her shirt, and pulled it over her head. Wanting to feel him on her, she set to the task of unbuttoning his shirt and then pushing the soft fabric off of his shoulders. He pulled her into another kiss, this was one softer then the other’s they’d shared…more gentle. He reached behind her and unclasped her bra and then threw it on the floor. He stood back so that he could look at her. Rachel was embarrassed, but she made no move to cover herself because of the look on his face. He kissed her once more, while unbuttoning her pants. He pushed them off of her hips, followed by her panties. Once she was free of all clothing, he picked her up and placed her on his desk like he had the day before. When the rest of his own clothes had been tossed aside, he looked up.
“Can we take our time, or do you really have to be somewhere?” Rachel, emboldened by his touches, spread her legs wide for him, causing him groan.
“We can take our time.” He grinned and leaned her back so that she was lying flat on her back. He stepped forward, took hold of her hips, and pushed his hard length into her opening. She gasped in pleasure and arched her back. He began a very slow pace of pulling in and out of her, groaning quietly with each thrust. He was going so slow, that the tension building up inside of Rachel was about to explode. She sat up and wrapped her arms around his neck. She leaned forward and started nipping at his ear.
“Please, Ethan, a little faster. I feel like I’m dying.” He whimpered at her words, angled her hips more to accommodate him, then set at the task at hand. He quickened up his pace, and then eventually couldn’t take it anymore. He began pumping in and out without restraint, Rachel meeting him with each stroke. Finally, Rachel clung to him as her orgasm hit her. He kissed her hard to swallow her screams of passion. After a few more seconds of pounding into her, he spilled himself into her, unable to stop. He didn’t pull out of her right away, they stayed their, locked in a passionate embrace. He lifted his head and brushed soft kisses on her face.
“You are mine and mine only. I know I shouldn’t be possessive, but fuck it. I don’t want any other person to touch your body, you’re mine.” Rachel trembled at what he was saying…was this really happening to her? She skimmed her hands down his back until they reached his buttocks and pulled him closer into her.
“I’m yours and yours only, but you’re mine as well.” He looked up at her and chuckled.
“I’m definitely yours.” He kissed her again, softly, then reluctantly pulled out of her.
“It’s late…almost six. I’d walk you to your car, but that might seem odd.” Rachel nodded and started re-dressing. She couldn’t believe that they’d spent two whole hours making love to each other, it was amazing. He kissed her once more before letting her walk out the door. When Rachel got home and into her bedroom, she immediately climbed into bed and hugged her pillow. There were no more crush feelings, that was completely washed away. There was a whole new feeling when it came to Ethan Reynolds, and it was so strong that it really scared her. She just hoped that they could be careful enough until she graduated…she also hoped that this wasn’t just a passing thing for him. They definitely needed to talk.
