Spencer Smith is the only one to survive a horrific plane crash which left his bandmates dead. The more and more people want him to speak out, the more Spencer wishes he could disappear...

I felt the plane falling, farther than normal. Brendon was in his seat smiling at the adrenaline rush. It was fast too for comfort, there was no time to adjust really. John and Ryan were standing in the isle waiting for Las Vegas to appear in view. No time at all...the plane lurched down again and I gripped the seat. John was the first to fly up hitting the ceiling...it knocked him out as he fell back down. Ryan had fallen forward and grabbed the seat closet to mine.

"HOLD ON," I shouted over the roaring noise of the smoking jet engine, "RYAN! HOLD ON"

Ryan was gripping tighter and loosing it as he hung in the air. The plane had turned belly up. The roaring grew and the faster we fell I couldn't see. My stomach wanted to vomit with the razor blade butterflies. Brendon was calling to John,

"John! JOHN!"

Ryan tried to look at me, his childhood friend. Those eyes held regret that he couldn't speak, he mouthed goodbye as we crashed. The plane shook and Ryan was tossed to floor and then against the cabin wall. He broke his fall just as the Cabin broke open and revealed us to the hot sun. The plane was still sliding when Brendon cried out.

Then it was still. So still I had to move to make sure I still alive. My breath wheezed slightly but other then that I was Okay. When I looked around I couldn't see John or Ryan. Brendon was panting and holding his stomach.

"Spence," he took a sharp breath, "it went all the," he took another sharp breath,"way through...," he held his breath at the last word.

"What did," My weak voice asked, I climbed slowly out of my seat.

Brendon covered what bloody stain their was, it however took a larger patch than his hand was able to hide. He tried to take deeper breaths as it was hard to get any oxygen in.

"What did this...," I trailed off, I saw just behind the seat a large metal rod.

I looked into Brendon's terrified eyes, he was holding back on the news that my eyes gave away. He knew it was bad, I let him know it was terrible.

"Don't do what they do in movies," Brendon slowly whispered, "Just don't tell me it will be alright, just...," He grabbed his mouth and held back a sob.

"Brendon," I tried, "I won't leave until it's," I got stuck on the word, "until it's over."

Why did this happen to us, why. I held back my own tears of sadness to be strong for my dieing friend. He stopped shaking after a while, closed his eyes and stopped breathing.

I slowly pulled myself out of the crash and began walking away. The ambulances were screaming in the distance and became even louder as I walked towards them. The people piling out of them held no memory of what I had just scene, nobody knew how I felt.

A woman and a man pushed me into a stretcher; I wasn't responding to anybody asking me questions.I lay still as they rushed me to the hospital. What hell was I going to do with myself.
