He sits as still as stone staring, staring at the world that let him down. Pain etched into his face, tearing into my heart. What can I do to save him? You don't understand how much I can feel his pain. It's the day where all we could hear were the blood curdling screams, all we could taste was the metal on our tongue, and all we could see was the rivers that fell from their wrists. The red drowned out everything else, and all our senses could scream was red. And that's all there ever was and will be. Red.
