"Mikey? Mikey wake up."

"Go away Frank, no school. Remember?"

"Yes Mikey, Pete says it's time to go back."

"Pete can jump up my ass."

"Pete can what?" Pete barked from the doorway.

"Oh um...hi Pete. I was just kidding?"

"Uh-huh. Just get your ass up and get ready for school." Pete ordered before stalking away.

"Shit! He fucking scared me." Mikey groaned, climbing from his bed.

"Well, you better get up and come to breakfast then." Frank giggled, leaving Mikey to dress.

Once Mikey was dressed he went down for breakfast.

"Morning 'Trick."

"Good morning Mikey. Do you want waffles or french toast?"

"French toast please."

"Coming right up. Oh and Mikey, FYI, the only ass Pete jumps up is mine." Patrick smirked, quirking an eyebrow at Mikey which made him blush ten different shades of red.

"Uh...sorry?" Mikey shrugged.

"Gooood Moooorning Mikes." Brendon sang as he bounced into the kitchen.

"French toast? Sweet!"

"Good morning Mr. Stump."

"Rayne honey, call me Patrick. I may be three hundred and seven years old but I don't want to be reminded of that fact." Patrick laughed.

"You're three hundred and seven years old? But how? I thought you were a shapeshifter."

"I am. Shapeshifters are immortal and we are fully grown by the age of eighteen so we stop aging at that point."

"Wow. I thought only vampires and mysticals were immortal."

"Nope. Shapeshifters too." Mikey grinned.

"Coffeeee." Ryan moaned upon entering the kitchen.

"I second that." Gerard mumbled.

"Here and here." Brendon grinned, handing each of them a steaming mug.

"Yo Bren, catch!" Gabe called, tossing a red bull in Brendon's direction.

"You Gabe, are a lifesaver."

"A cherry one?"

"Yes Gabe, a red hot, delicious, cherry flavored lifesaver."

"Make that a red hot, delicious one with a nice ass." Gabe winked as he shook his ass at Brendon.

"Good morning."

"Good morning Emily." Patrick smiled.

"Emmy?" Mikey whined.

"Yes Mikey?"

"Can you please convince Pete to let us stay home? I want to stay here with you." Mikey pouted, giving Emily puppy dog eyes.

Emily laughed. "Yeah right, like he'd listen to me. Plus, I'm not going anywhere so I'll be here when you get home.

"Damn." Mikey grumbled.

"Oh cheer up Mikes. When you get home I'll take you to the mall. Would you like that?"

"Hell yes!"

"All vampires need to join me in the basement." Pete ordered.

Emily, Frank, Gabe, Brendon, and Ryan followed Pete down to the basement.

"Everyone knows what today is so get to it." Pete directed.

"Emily, I don't know you're feeding schedule but blood days are Mondays and Thursdays here. We don't feed on humans but we do drink human blood. We get our source from the blood bank. You are welcome to help yourself."

"That sounds fine. Thanks Pete."

"Of course Emily. Frank will show you where the blood is stored."

"Here you go Emily." Frank smiled as he handed Emily a warm glass full of the thick red liquid.

"Thanks Frankie."

"You're welcome. So, where have you been these past five years?"

"I, uh..well, after I was changed I was hysterical and hurt so I took off but you know that."Frank nodded.

"I found this clan that took me in and helped me learn to control myself. They became like family to me."

"I thought we were like family Emily. Why didn't you at least call? I was so worried. We all were and poor Mikey cried himself to sleep every night for weeks after you left."

"I'm sorry Frankie. I just couldn't face him. It hurt too much. It still does."

"Do you still love him?"

"Yes and no."

"I'm confused. How can it be both?" Frank questioned, his brows furrowed.

"I still love him in the way you will always love your first real love but I don't love him in the sense that I want to be with him."

"Okay. I see what you mean. Just promise you won't stay away so long next time."

"I promise. I don't think Mikey would let me anyway." Emily laughed.

"Probably not." Frank agreed.

"Hey Frank, can I speak with you?"

"Uh yeah. Sure Pete."

"Later guys." Emily smiled and left, getting the feeling Pete wanted privacy.

"Frank, we are going to need help. Do you think Zacky would be interested?"

Frank's eyes nearly bulged from his head at the mention of his cousin.

"Zacky?! Pete, I'm not so sure that's a good idea. You know Zacky and Gee have some bad blood between them."

Pete sighed. "I know Frank but Zacky is a good fighter and we need all the help we can get right now."

"Okay Pete but you better make it clear that he is to leave Gerard alone."

"Of course. Thank you Frank."

Frank sighed as he pulled his cell out to call Zacky. He dialed his cousin's number and nervously waited for him to pick up.

"Hello?"

"Uh...hey Zacky, it's Frank."

"Frank? It's been awhile. How are you?"

"Good and you?"

"Not bad. You still with that mutt?"

Frank sighed into the phone."Zacky, please don't, okay?"

"Whatever. So, what do you want?"

"Well, Pete needs your help."

"Why? What's going on now?"

"It's Beckett and the uh...The Mysticals."

"The Mysticals? What the hell have you guys got yourselves into now?"

"It's a long story. So, will you help?"

"Yeah. Just give me a couple of hours."

"Thanks Zacky."

"Yeah, yeah. I'll see you in a couple of hours." Zacky muttered before disconnecting the line.

"Well, what did he say?" Pete asked from behind Frank which in return scared the hell out of him.

"Shit! You fucking scared me."

"Sorry. So?"

"He said he'd be here in a couple of hours."

"Good. Thanks again Frank."

"Yeah, you're welcome." Frank muttered then went to give Gerard the bad news. He found him outside in the garden.

"Hey Frankie."

"Hey Gee." Frank frowned.

"What's wrong?"

"Pete made me call Zacky."

"What?!"

"Yeah. I'm sorry Gee."

"Fuck! He's going to make my life hell! I made one fucking mistake and he makes my life hell for eternity!"

"I know Gee. I wish he'd get over it. That was six years ago and you were only fifteen. You had no idea."

"Yeah. The only good thing that came out of it is that I met you." Gerard smiled.

"Yeah." Frank agreed, pulling Gerard into a small kiss.
