Love Sick:

Simone's Notes:

Sexual addiction is a popular model to explain hypersexuality-sexual urges, behaviors, or thoughts that appear extreme in frequency or feel out of one's control. There is no consensus among sexologists for whether the phenomenon represents an actual addiction or even a psychological/psychiatric condition at all. Proponents of the sexual addiction model draw an analogy between hypersexuality and substance addiction, recommending 12-step and other addiction-based methods of treatment. Other explanatory models of hypersexuality include sexual compulsivity and sexual impulsivity. Sexologists have not reached any consensus regarding whether sexual addiction exists or, if it does, how to describe the phenomenon. Some experts believe that sexual addiction is literally an addiction, directly analogous to alcohol and drug addictions. Other experts believe that sexual addiction is actually a form of obsessive compulsive disorder and refer to it as sexual compulsivity. Still other experts believe that sex addiction is itself a myth, a by-product of cultural and other influences.

On the down time of the cycle, Edward found some fresh meat to make into his new doll. Her name was Susan Ainsworth. Thirty-five years old and fairly attractive. On the surface, she looked like an average woman. But yet, she had an opening in her shield.

Susan came from a damaged past. This past let to her current destruction. The woman was a sex addict. Edward took a high delight in this little gem of knowledge and decided to extort her to turn her into a succubus.

In order to act on this little plan, he needed a little therapy. Addiction class to be exact. Susan signed up two days ago at the insistence of her fiancee.

"Addiction class?" she asked him. "That's not for me. I'm not a drug addict." Her fiancee didn't buy it.

"Sex addiction is just as bad as any other addiction," he explained to her. "I'm just worried about you, okay?" That statement held so much power over her. Thus, her starting counseling now. Edward sat in circle, watching her. Susan looked rather attractive for her age. She did look like she needed to go to bed, but that was about it. She looked so nervous today. Understandable, considering this was the first day of therapy. Edward felt himself smirking at her.

Maybe I should provide a little comfortable/, he thought. The incubus alchemist got up from his seat and walked over to his prey. Susan sat in a daze, trying to catch her breath. /This shouldn't be hard, she thought. Just get through this class and leave. There's nothing wrong with me; it's just nerves. I can do this just fine. I only like to sleep with a couple of guys. Okay, maybe more. But, that's about it. Peter's just overreacting again. Susan felt a chill go up her spine.

/I'm screwed, aren't?/, she thought. Suddenly, there was someone touching her on the shoulder. The poor soul nearly jumped in her seat. She whipped around to see Edward smiling at her.

"Why so jumpy?" he asked. Susan forced herself to calm down. She shook her head.

"Nothing," she mumbled. "Just thinking too much."

"Ah, I see," Edward replied. Susan looked away sheepishly. The incubus looked on at her.

"Something wrong?" he asked. His target shook her head.

"It's nothing," she lied. Edward gave her a false, soft smile. He put his left arm around her shoulders.

"There, there," he whispered. "You can tell me everything. This is a healing class, isn't it?" Susan's eyes shifted away from him again. What a position she found herself in at this current moment. She pushed his arm away.

"I can't!" she fluttered out. Edward took a step back.

"Too soon?" he asked. Susan nodded.

"Fine, fine," Edward replied. "We'll go slower with this." The woman completely looked away from him.

Suddenly, the sound of high heels echoed in the room. The rest of the addicts looked up to see Dr. Howard coming through the doorway. She held her chart to her chest as she gave a quick head count of the room. A calm look came over her face. /There's one missing/, she thought. All eyes were locked on her. Susan looked at her, nervously. Edward fought to stay calm.

/Oh shit!/, he thought. Not the doctor with that OCD girl. This mission had just turned into a bit of a gamble. But then, Edward felt himself smiling.

/Not too bad/, he thought. A challenge could make this plot worth my while. Dr. Howard walked over to the circle and took a seat.

"Good morning everyone," she greeted her "students."

"Good morning," they all said back in shaking voices. Dr. Howard gave them a little smile.

"I know it's morning, so I'll let you slide this time," she said. Just then, more footsteps watched into the room. Everyone looked up and saw a woman in her mid-thirties looking around. Her short blonde hair curled at the ends. Things kept spilling out of her arms as she struggled to keep them in. Her jeans clung onto her thighs and hips as she moved. All of the addicts gave her an odd look. Dr. Howard studied her for a second.

"A little help here!" the woman cried. Two men of the group rushed over and helped her get into the room.

"Excuse me," Dr. Howard said. "Are you Laurel?" The other woman looked up when she got a few inches from the circle. Edward gritted his teeth as soon as he realized what the woman really was. The late comer bowed her head.

"Yes I am!" she said. "I am so sorry! Traffic was a nightmare this morning! But, I'm here now!"

"It's alright," the doc said. "Take a seat."

"Thank you, ma'am," Laurel replied. She walked into the circle and took a seat next to Susan. The other woman relaxed a bit. Edward sneered at the newcomer. /Bitch is in the way of my plans/, he thought.

During the introductions of the group and the program, Edward engaged Laurel in a heated mental conversation.

"Tell me something, why would the Aizen Myo-o Academy send a graduate student to crash my party."

"Why Edward, whatever do you mean?"

"Don't play your shitty games with me!"

"Temper, temper."

"Oh dear me. Don't tell me that fairy glitter palace is so desperate that they are sending has-beens to be their little mutts."

"At least, I'm not a puppet!"

Edward cut her an icy glare.

Laurel played with her hair. "Anyway, I know what you're going to do to Susan."

"Why do you care?"

"Oh, no reason. I just don't want her to became a puppet like you."

"She won't be a puppet. She'll just be another pet to Manami-sama."

"Manami-sama! That's rich coming from you."

"Take that back now!"

"Or what?"

Edward sneered at her.

Laurel took a sip of her coffee. "Oh, this coffee is so good." She glance over at Edward out of the corner of her eye. "You will not have Susan."

"Says who?"

"Me."

"Who will stop me?"

"Me."

"How?"

Laurel paused for a second. "By physical force if necessary."

Edward gave her a secret little smirk. "We'll see about that."

"Yes, we shall."

The conversation died there, leading to a side battle to add one more fallen one to drive the underground to the surface.
