As I'm writing these words
As much as I try
I'm not that strong
Watch me fizzle and die, go where I belong
It was too good to be true
How could I believe there could be a me next to you
Watching you leave, without a goodbye
I stifle down what could be a violent cry
'cause thinking back on what used to be
I realize you truly weren't the best for me
I told myself I loved you
But honestly, what the fuck did I do?
To deserve what you gave me
Yeah, we had our moments but what did they mean?
Just a speedway ticket to boost your self esteem
And as much as you told me "I'm sorry, I love you"
As much as I was blind sighted and took you back in
As much as I believed your words, they were true
I knew the pain wasn't worth it
Every time was the same
You were never gonna change, not even for me
I'm all for letting go of you, I pushed you away, but who am I kidding?
It was you who left me, now a fragile soul, I'm breaking

I think it's quite funny how my feelings started to change towards the end of this, :L
