Lindsey’s POV
I stumbled out the door, rushing into the cool, early morning air to get to the beach in time for the sunrise.
I gasped at the beauty of the sunrise. Different shades of blue, pink, purple, red and yellow swirled together to create a kaleidoscope of wonderful colours. I looked across the sand-dunes to see a boy. He was wearing dark skinny’s, a black long sleeved shirt with a picture of Mario on it, a black beanie was pulled over his brown hair with only his fringe hanging out across his face and over his glasses.
He was the perfect guy for my photography assignment!
I asked him if I could take a few photos with him in them and was so relieved when he said yes.
Afterwards I helped him up and asked if he wanted to come get some breakfast with me. I don’t know what it was about this boy. He was just so... sweet, cute, funny, I could go on forever.
We walked into a small cafe to get something to eat, hand in hand.
Mikey’s POV
Lindsey put out a hand to help me up, her short black hair swaying in the breeze. I took her hand.
This girl was... different. I liked it. We walked into a small cafe and sat in one of the corner booths.
“Okay, so tell me some stuff about you?” I asked.
“Well, I’m 16, I moved here two weeks ago, I’m a vegan, my favourite band is Anthrax-“ I cut her off there.
“Anthrax!? You’ve gotta be joking! That’s my favourite band!” I said enthusiastically.
“Wow! You have an awesome taste in music!” she replied.
“Oh yeah, and I have two friends that are vegans as well! Sarah and Frank... they can be a bit of a handful...” I laughed, “so, keep going?”
“Uuh, I love photography and well, all types of art. I love animals, and I’m completely addicted to coffee,” she finished, “Okay! Your turn!”
“Well, I just turned 17, I live with my older brother, I play bass, I’m a complete nerd, I can’t draw for shit and I suck at sport,” I said.
“Okay,” she laughed, “now tell me something weird about you?”
“Well, I have this weird obsession, please don’t laugh,” I said quietly.
“I promise I won’t laugh,” she said with a smile.
“Okay, well, I’m kinda obsessed with... unicorns,” I admitted. I waited for her to laugh. But surprisingly, she didn’t.
“AAWWWW! That is so freaking adorable!” she cooed.
I grinned at her.
“Now, something weird about you?” I asked.
“Uuuuhh well, I have this thing for random tattoos,” she said as she showed me her wrists. On one wrist was a barcode, yes, that’s right, a barcode, and on the other was the Nintendo logo.
“Well, they’re different... I like it!” I said. This girl seemed to be as odd as me! Wow, never thought that would happen.
We stayed there for hours, just talking. It was nice, this girl was beginning to push out the deep loneliness that had haunted me.

Gerard’s POV
“But where would he have gone?” asked Ray.
I tried to think of the places Mikey went when he wanted to be alone, he wasn’t answering any of my calls, I was starting to get worried about him.
“Uuh, maybe the beach? or one of those cafe’s near the beach? He always liked them, or the park?” I said.
“Frank and I can check the beach!” Kirrah volunteered, grabbing Franks hand and pulling him out the door.
“I’ll check the park,” said Ray.
“Well that leaves me and you darling,” I whispered into Sarah’s ear.
She giggled as she took my hand. “Well then let’s hurry up and find him, then maybe we can go somewhere a little more... private,” she whispered seductively to me.
“Let’s go find the little weirdo so we can have some... fun,” I laughed.
We ran out the door.

“There he is! Wait, who’s that chick with him?”I asked. Mikey was sitting in the corner of a beachside cafe, but he wasn’t alone. There was a girl with him, and they were sitting quite... close. She laughed at something he had said. She moved closer to him.
“Oh my gosh!” Sarah said excitedly, “that is so cute!”
I couldn’t believe it. My little brother was chatting up a girl! Finally! He looked so nervous that I couldn’t help but laugh.
“Little Mikey’s growing up,” I pretended to wipe a tear away from my eye.
“Well, we know he’s safe, let’s call the others then go somewhere more private,” said Sarah. A large smile played across my lips.
I pulled out my phone and texted Ray and Frank.
We found him! But we didn’t actually talk to him, guess what! He’s with a girl! – Gee
We practically sprinted back to my house.

I shivered as her hands ran softly down my body. I mean I wasn’t a virgin, but she made me feel so excited, so nervous, kinda like a was a virgin again, and this was going to be my first time.
“Sarah,” I groaned as I pushed her shirt up.
“Gee wait,” she said, she sounded scared, I stopped.
“What’s wrong? You changed your mind?” I asked, I had thought this was what she wanted.
“No! I still want to, but...” she stopped, tears started to well in her eyes.
“What? What’s wrong? You know you can tell me anything,” I asked.
“I-I have scars... going across my stomach, they’re ugly and I’m worried that when you see them, you won’t want me anymore!” she cried.
I wrapped my arms tighter around her.
“Hey! I don’t care about the scars! You are beautiful, and well... I think... I might... I love you!” I gushed. There. I’d finally said it, I could only hope that she felt the same. I looked at her, waiting for her reaction.
She smiled as she pushed me onto the bed.
“You have no idea how much I’ve wanted to hear you say that!” she said in between kisses, “And Gee, I love you too!”
We locked the door.
