notes:dean is 18.tessa is 16.justin is 17. sam is 14. mary and john are both still alive.john hunts while mary stays at home. they unofficially adopted tessa when she was 12 when her parents died.
Dean:
I watched Tessa.
She was quiet,only the sound of her typing on her laptop filling the silence.
"Who're you talking to?" I asked her.
She looked up at me.
"Who says I'm talking to anyone?" she asked,defensive.
"You keep smiling when you read something," I replied.
Her dark blue eyes showed that she was torn as to weither she should tell me or not.
"I can't tell you,Dean," she told me,"I promised."
I sighed,"Whatever."
"Do you want to talk about last night?" I asked her.
She bit her bottom lip.
"No...I don't," she replied.
flashback:
We were laying on my bed,facing each other.
Soon our faces...our lips were so close.
I instinctively leaned in more and kissed her.
We kissed,lips moving in-sync but soon she pulled away,surprised with herself...it showed clearly on her face.
"I can't,Dean...I have someone," she told me,looking torn and regretful.
"Whoever he is...he's lucky to have you," I whispered.
end of flashback
She typed something before closing her laptop.
"I'm gunna go out for a while.Don't wait up," she told me.
"It's after 10pm.Mum'll crucify her if she finds out," I told her.
"Doesn't matter.I have to go," she replied,"I ain't letting you meet him and end up scaring him off.
She grabbed her bag and walked out.

I was still up at 1am and Tessa still wasn't home.
I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and soon mum walked in.
"Where's that girl got to?" she asked me.
"She went out 3 hours ago," I replied.
"Where did she go?" she asked.
"I don't know.Said something about a boy," I replied.
"When she gets home...tell her she's grounded," mum told me.

We were having breakfast when Tessa came downstairs.
"Where did you get to last night?" mum asked.
Tessa knew she was caught.
"I didn't get up to anything bad if that's what you're worried about," she replied.
"Who did you go see?" mum asked.
"Justin," she replied,"we didn't do anything though."
"It doesn't matter what you did...you're still grounded," mum replied.
"How long?" Tessa asked.
"A month," she replied.
Tessa looked shocked.
"Oh come on.that's not fair!" she said.
"Would've been worse if dad was grounding you," I told her.
Tessa stepped right up to mum,right up on her face.
"What have I done for you,Mary?" she asked,barely audible to me.
Tessa gripped her wrist and led her out so we couldn't hear the argument.

Mary:
Tessa forced me to sit on the bed once we'd gotten into the bedroom.
She was forever the dominant one...except when we'd first done things together...barely a year had passed since then.
I looked up at her,waiting for her to hit me or get violent in some way to get back at me.
"You know why I need to see him...don't you?" she asked me,tone daring me to stand,throw her on the bed and pin her to it.
I nodded,"Did he take the news well?"
"Unexpectedly," she replied.
"I know how you and Dean feel about each other," I told her.
There was a sharp crack and she slapped me.
I allowed myself to lay back on the bed.
She was soon straddling me.
"You know I love you,Mary," she whispered before kissing me.
"Mm Love you too," I replied quietly,shakily.
"I know you're expecting too,darling," she told me.
"How?" I asked,surprised that she'd know.
"You just confirmed it and I just know," she replied,smiling.
