Down To The Devil's Show
what secrets lie in blood? what truths lie in Genes? what lies are buried in eyes? What can The Rev No longer deny? Captive to the ice gaze. Never to go from isolation. Alexis is ...
?Blocked
The beat of the drums, thudded in tune with the heart beat of the crowd. Bodies intermingled as they danced in time to the music. Sweat, heat, and noise were dominating this setting. The five bodies on stage had the crowd wrapped around their fingers. The drummer’s eyes hypnotically scanned over the crowd. The smirk evident on his face as, he watched each and every one of them. He controlled the way their bodies moved, with the beat he produced. He felt the excitement whirl in his gut when his eyes landed on her. Her long black hair tangled with her body, her sharp green eyes reflecting the lights dancing on the stage. He knew he had to have her. he had to taste her, make her his. She would be his. He was dead set on that.
Alexis felt eyes on her, turning amongst the crowd her bright green eyes met with harsh blue ones, causing her to feel a cold ripple rush down her spine. The one staring at her from atop his drum set throne, was none other than the Rev. but that way that he looked at her, she didn't like it. There was almost something animalistic behind his eyes. Like he wanted to feed on her. She shivered slightly and tried as she may to ignore him and enjoy the concert. But his gaze was unwavering and followed her body movements where ever she went. There was no escape from his gaze.
The night drew on and the heat in the crowd grew more and more intense, as did the screams. The five mean on stage continued to work in complete harmony keeping the attention of the audience fixated on them, all but one girl. Alexis did all that she could to avoid eye contact with them. She tried to ignore the man continually staring at her. But seeing as he had been doing it all night it had been hard to forget. And those eyes, though she would have normally felt quite honoured to have such attention from someone like the Rev, they only made her scared, and severely uncomfortable in her own skin. She would give almost anything to trade places with someone right now, if only to get away from the eyes.
The opening notes of afterlife rang out into the crowd and his eyes found her again. She had moved further away from the stage. He smirked; he knew exactly what she was doing. She was trying to get away from him. This only made the beast within Rev growl in anticipation for the chase. The rage from the animal within him swooped down like a bird of prey screaming for its meal. The new atmospheric change had the other members of the band turning to glance back at the Rev. a dark aura was protruding around the drum set framing the Rev in darkness. The humans before him screamed in excitement presuming it a part of the stage act, only the other Nosferatu around him knowing other wise. Their eyes cautiously tracked his movements as his eyes never left the body of that human girl. The one he swore he would have.
A breath of relief flew out of her lungs as the final note of the final song burst from the amps around the crowd. She began her movement towards the exit, she had to get out of this atmosphere, she didn't know what it was but her instincts were screaming at her to get out there, to run away and never come back. Something was wrong, and this something could be the end of her. She wasn't going to risk this. She was going to head home and forget that this night had ever occurred.
As the doors came into view and her heart was beating painfully in her chest, in anticipation for escape. A cold hand wrapped around her wrist and pulled her from the crowd. She went to scream only to have an equally cold hand form a barrier over her mouth. Her eyes shot around trying to catch a glimpse of a way out or even for her attacker. She clawed at the arm holding her as she pulled out of view of the other people around her. Her nails dug futilely into the flesh of her attacker, this seemed to not even warrant a reaction. Before she had time to react she was tossed onto a bed. She looked up and her eyes met those blue ones from the show.
A smirk carved onto Rev’s face as he finally had her. He watched her smelling the fear rippling off of her body. She was even more gorgeous close up. He would make her, his. He stalked over to her; he felt his fangs grow in his mouth as his hands clenched and unclenched in anticipation of what was to occur. He crawled over her on the bed and heard that sweet sound of he heart palpitating inside of her chest. It was screaming in fear, panic. Oh such a sweet sound.
“W-what are you doing?” she stuttered out as his head dipped down to sniff up the base of her neck. Her insides clenched as she felt his tongue dip down and into the crevice of her neck.
“ Oh honey trust me you don't want to know” he purred in response, she watched as his eyes turned completely black. Her voice hitching in her throat only to come out in full force, through the scream erupting as his teeth wedged themselves into her skin. Stars danced over her vision as she gripped the sheets underneath her. Feeling her blood well out and into his mouth. Her heart crying for it’s lost life source.
Just as she felt as though she were loosing grip on the world around her, he pulled back. Red rubies dancing on his lips as his tongue danced out with them, drawing them captive into his mouth.
“ Mmmm, perfect.” He purred and ran his finger down her pale cheek. He saw the haze over her eyes and studied her closely, before swooping down and scooping her up into his arms. Swiftly strutting out of the room, he moulded with his shadow and dashed onto the bus across the parking lot.
He felt eyes on him as he carried the now unconscious girl to his bunk. Laying her down carelessly he, he walked back through the living area, those eyes still trailing after him curiously.
“ Rev what are you doing?” he bigger one of the four questioned.
“ She is different Shadows, I’m not leaving her behind, you’ll understand soon enough” he said brushing the question aside.
Sitting down in the only empty chair left, his mind wandered back to the taste of her blood, the feel of her thick crimson life, sliding down his throat nourishing him like no other. And that taste, it screamed of something he hadn’t beared witness to in centuries.
The potential blood of a fertile.
This posed interesting.
Very interesting indeed.
