Jade was putting on a long, black dress. She looked into the mirror, eyes glistening with tears. "Dammit Jade. You can do this. You were like her fucking sister. She deserves to have you at her funeral." Amy knocked lightly on her door, hearing everything that was just said. "Jade... are you almost ready?" Jade sighed, and responded back to her. "Almost. And the funeral don't start for another two hours mum." Amy nodded, and left her doorway. Jade looked into her mirror. She strode into her bathroom, and started her hair. Curly, as usual. Jade's phone rung. She sighed and put down her straightener. Jackson W. She smiled. "'Ello? Yeah. I know. I know that too." Jade's eyes popped at the next question. "Wait... what did you say J? Yeah totally. I'll go." She hung up, and straightened her long black hair. She brushed back her fringe, and put a silver and black flowered hair pin into her hair. She sighed at herself, and reached for her make-up bag. She took out her Mac make-up, and started with her brown eyes. She loved the way her eyes sparkled in the light. She remembered why she was in black. She sniffed and and dried her eyes so she could put on her make-up. She put on a liquid eye-liner, and a smokey black eye-shadow in the corners of her brown eyes. She put on a silver eye-shadow, and blended where the two colours touched. She carefully put on some mascara. She checked how she looked, and took out her curling iron. Why do I even have one of these? My hair is curly as FUCK!!! She smiled at her blonde-moment. She walked to her closet, waiting for the iron to heat up. She knelt down, and looked for some heels. She was digging into her closet, looking for the pair Alanis had bought her. (Alanis was her friend that passed away.) Jade quickly found the black heels. She smiled at them, and slipped them on. She had to look even nicer than nice tonight. She was going to sing the song, 'Hello' that her mother had written when her mother had died. "Jade!!! Oh hey. Mummy wants to know when you'll be ready?" Jade sighed. "5 fucking minutes Saviour!!!" "God sorry." Saviour was 12, 4 years younger than Jade. Saviour was really short, had brown hair, like Stefan's, but it was straight, like Amy's. She had Amy's blue eyes and her smile. Jade was jealous of her. She walked/ran to the toilet, and put four curls into her hair. "Jade!!! We need to leave!!!" Jade smirked, and replied in Spanish. "Salvador, vete a la mierda." And in English, it meant 'Saviour, go fuck yourself.' "What does that even mean Jade?!?!" "I don't know... just get in the car, I'll be down." Stefan knew what it meant. He laughed and took Saviour's hand and walked out to the car. "Don't listen to her, it's her job to piss you off." Saviour gasped. "Dad, can I cuss her out?" Stefan shook his head. "No... she's just going through a really though thing right now. Ignore the mean comments ok Saviour?" Saviour nodded and climbed into the back seat of the car, sitting next to Amy. Jade walked downstairs, and screamed in anger. She punched the wall and almost started to cry. "GOD DAMN IT!!! ALANIS!!! WHY DID YOU EVEN GET INTO HIS CAR?!?! HE WAS WASTED!!!!!" She punched the wall again, remembering how her best friend had died.

NIGHT OF THE ACCIDENT
"Alanis, tell me again what he's like!!!" Jade was bouncing on her bed, cross-legged and in her pj's. Alanis smiled. "Smokin' hot. Nice. And he can drink." Jade's jaw dropped. "Jus' don't you drink okay? It's dangerous... especially since you're going to be in a car." Alanis just laughed. "I swear to God I'll be ok. One drink won't hurt right?" Jade nodded. "Well I should be going... date with an adult." Jade laughed Stefan's laugh. "Be careful... use ya head!!!" See what I just done there? "Ew gross!!! I'm waitin'!!!" Jade smiled. "Ok... be back soon!!!"........... BZZZZ BZZZZ "Whadda fuck." She slung her arm to her nightstand, and felt around for her buzzing cell phone. "Yeah?" Jade's phone fell to the floor, and she hurried to pick it back up. "Are you fucking with me? Oh God. Oh my God." Jade hung up and started to cry. She ran to her mum and dad's room, and knocked on the door as loud as she could. Stefan came scuffing up the carpet the the door. "Jade? Oh God are you alright hun?" She shook her head and Stefan turned on the light. She walked into the room. Amy sat up. "Jade? Oh my God Jade." Jade was shaking. "Alan-Alanis- Alanis is in the-the-the hospital!!!" Amy and Stefan both went pale. "What happened?" Jade was in a hug with her mum. "She was drunk, and the man she was with was too. But he decided he could fucking drive, and he went off the side of a road. They flipped, and landed on a boulder. Alanis' side was the side with the boulder!!! MUM!!!" She cried into Amy, and Amy was stroking her hair and trying to calm her down. It calmed Jade down, just like it used to calm Amy down. She settled into her mom, trying to sleep. Trying to not remember what she had just been told by Mrs. Johannes. She drifted into a deep sleep...

NOW
Jade walked outside. The hot air made her feel sicker than she already was. She walked over to the car, and sat in the front seat. "Jade... are you sure you can do this?" Jade looked at her dad. "Yeah. I am. Alanis was a sister to me. I have to go." Stefan nodded, and pat her shoulder. She looked out of the window, and sighed. The world isn't the same without Alanis.


AT THE FUNERAL
"Hello. I'm glad you came Jade." Jade hugged Mrs. Johannes, or Genevieve. "I'm glad I came to." "Are you still singing Hello?" Jade nodded. "I bettah get up there haven't I?" Genevieve nodded, and dabbed her eyes with a handkerchief. She walked up onto the stage , and sat behind a piano. She had been playing since Saviour was born. Half of the school was there, but Jade didn't care. "Em, this song is called 'Hello' by Evanescence." The people in the church nodded, familiar with the song. "Playground, school-bell rings, again. Rain-clouds come to play, again. Has no-one told she's not breathing, hello I'm your mind, giving you someone to talk to. Hello." Half of the people were crying, and the other half were mesmerized by Jade's angelic voice. Genevieve was crying, remembering her little Alanis. "If I smile and don't, believe, soon I know, I'll wake, from this dream. Don't try to fix me I'm not broken. Hello, I'm the lie living for you so you can hide, don't cry." More people were crying. "Suddenly I know I'm not sleeping!!! Hello, I'm still here, all that's left of yesterday." She shortly finished the song, and there was a light applause. She nodded, and walked off the stage. She found her family, and sat down. "I couldn't have sung it better myself. It was beautiful baby." Jade nodded, and let her make-up run.

AT HOME... THE NEXT WEEK
"Hey J." "Hey Jade. You ready?" She nodded, and slipped on her raincoat. It was really rainy outside tonight, and Jackson took notice. "Bad weather yeah?" She nodded. Jackson walked her out to his car. She hesitated, but got in. Jackson drove Jade to a little hamburger joint. She smiled. She used to come here as a kid. She felt safer than ever tonight. Jackson jumped from the car, and ran to her side of the car, and opened the door for her. "Thanks J." He nodded. "I hope you're hungry..." She smiled. "Yeah. Teen here J." He laughed and took her hand awkwardly and walked inside. They sat at a booth, and ordered hamburgers and fries. Jade was really relaxed now. It was the most fun she had had since Alanis passed away. She picked up a fry, and flicked it into Jackson's face. He laughed and threw one back at her. She leaned on her elbow when he talked, but her eyes shone. He was funnier than she remembered him being. They went silent for a minute, and Jackson laughed nervously. Then he leaned acrossed the table and kissed her on the lips. She giggled and blushed and kissed him back. He was all for it now. He kissed her again, and went up to pay for the burgers. He rushed back, and took her hand. He was eighteen now, and he had his own flat. Jade was freaking out. When they left the burger joint, Jackson dipped her into a kiss. Jackson opened the door for Jade. She giggled and stepped into the car. Jackson climbed into the car, and shut his door behind himself. He smiled at her before kissing her, long and hard. She didn't want the kiss to end. He smiled at her, and started the car's engine. He drove towards his flat. OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG He pulled into the drive, and got out. He pretty much ran to her side of the car. He opened the door and kissed her, all the way when they where walking to his flat door. He smiled as they were kissing. She took off her coat, and tossed it to the floor. He did the same with his coat. She smiled and pressed her self closer to him. Jade Abingdon........ the virgin.... weird. Don't ring a bell. She slipped her tank top over her head, and was just in skinny jeans, and a bra. "Our parents are going to kill us." Jackson laughed. "I don't care. As long as I die at the same time." She giggled as he took off her pants. He stood up, and she took off his pants. He pulled her closer. She giggled again. God that giggle... "What?" He kissed her before she could answer. He took her hand and led her upstairs. She smiled and he carried her to his bed. He put her down, and kissed her. He climbed into the bed, and kissed her. He took off his boxers, as she was slipping off her underwear. She smiled at him, and he kissed her, more and more. She felt him go into her. She gasped and moaned. He kissed her neck. She groaned and he kissed her again. She kissed him on the neck, and his jaw. He groaned this time. She smiled down at him, as he was holding her hips. She took off her bra, and threw it god knows where. He kissed her again, and groaned. She pressed herself closer to him, and smiled. They were panting and groaning for quite a long time. Jade looked at the clock. "SHIT!!!" He looked and shrugged. "I told your mum that you passed out in the car..." She smiled. "Then I guess I can enjoy you for a little while longer..." He smiled and rolled over with her on top of him. She was now on the bottom and he was on top. "Yep. Sounds great don't it?" She laughed.
