Prologue
Sam's P.O.V
Dean and I were driving back home after getting burgers for dinner. He looked a little pissed so I decided to ask.
"What's eating you?" I asked not taking my eyes from the road.
He chuckled angrily.
"I'm pissed off..."
"Why?" I asked kind of not wanting to know the answer.
He looked at me.
"It's been too long without a chick for me."
I took my eyes off the road for a moment to look at him.
"It's not like I've gotten any either."
I looked back and saw a quick whip of light brown hair and glittering amethyst eyes and before I could swerve to miss her I hit her throwing her down the road. I slammed on the brakes as we watched her hit the ground and roll. Dean jumped out of the car and ran to check on the mystery girl.
"Way to go Sam!" he called back as I sat, in shock, behind the wheel.
I finally got out and decided to go see if she was alright. As I got out a werewolf came barreling out of the woods. I quickly retrieved the shotgun from the back and fired taking him to a halt just before he pounced on Dean and the girl. I ran out to them and saw how tiny and dainty she was compared to Dean. He looked up at me.
"She's hurt but she needs care...let's take her back to our house and keep her there until she gets better."
I laughed.
"No! We'll take her to the hospital!"
He looked at me with a sarcastic look.
"And say what? We accidentally hit this girl while we were driving home?"
I sighed.
"You have a point..."
He scooped her up and carried her back to the car, laying her in the back seat.
I got back in the driver's side and put it in gear once Dean was in the passenger side. We started the drive home when he looked back at her then back to me.
"What?" I asked with a quick glance at him.
"Look at her...she's so...flawless." he said in a tone I'd never heard from him before.
I raised my eyebrows and breathed out roughly.
"She is pretty...but she's not that pretty, Dean." I lied
He furrowed his brow.
"What's gottn into you, Sammy? I mean you're the one who put her in our back seat because you weren't paying attention."
I slammed on the brakes and turned to look at him.
"It was a God Damned accident!" I yelled.
He looked back to make sure she was alright from my ubrupt stop.
"Don't break her more than you already have!"
I laughed angrilly.
"She'll be fine...now, let's get her home."
I put the peal to the metal and floored it the whole way home.
When we arrived I got out of the car and opened the back door, Dean was still sitting in his seat. I pulled her out and threw her over my shoulder, she was very light. I bet this girl didn't weigh 80 pounds soaking wet. I carried her inside and took her back to our room and laid her on my bed, she fell so gracefully to meet the covers. I paused for a moment to look at the perfection that laid upon my bed. Her pale delicate skin was so soft even though it was covered in tiny cuts, scrapes, and bruises. I felt so guilty for hitting her but at the same time I was a little happy I had, only because it had put her here with me. Dean walked in and cleared his throat.
"Like looking at her?" he teased.
I looked back at him quickly.
"Go get a warm wash cloth and bandaids." I said quickly.
He chuckled.
"Fine. Don't do anything I wouldn't." he said with a wink.
I gave him a cross look as he left, laughing.
I turned my attention back to her and studied her features, she looked like a delicate porcelain doll but her skin was blemished by my own stupidity. Dean returned and handed me the wash cloth and firstaid kit. I wiped the dried blood and dirt off her and began to really see the radiance of her true beauty shining through. I put the bandages on her delicate arms and Dean started chuckling.
"Nurse Sammy to the rescue." He joked.
I smirked at him.
"You're only laughing until I tell you that we are both sleeping in the living room."
His eyes got wide and his amusment had faded.
"Why?!" he asked
"I don't trust you around her."
I grabbed his pillow and blanket and tossed them at him.
"Go pick your couch ." I said with a laugh
He mummbled aomething as he walked into the living room.
I grabbed a spare pillow and blanket, but before I went in to join Dean I stopped and looked at her innocence one last time. I wished I knew this gorgeous angel's name, it was killing me just knowing I'd hurt her like this. I wanted to touch her to feelher soft skin one last time before I went to bed, just to put my mind to rest. I set my pillow and and blanket on Dean's bed and sat next to her looking upon her face. I wished I could see her with eyes open and life in them, I raised my hand up and gently stroked her bruised cheek. She groaned and brought her hand up to mine and nestling into my palm softly. After a long moment I reclaimed my hand and smiled at her then picked up my things. I turned back and saw Dean leaning against the door frame, it startled me and I jumped.
"H-how long have you been standing there?" I asked nervously.
He chuckled.
"Long enough to see that you're sweet on her." he said
I frowned a little.
"I am not...now come on, let's hit the sack." I said pushing my way past him and closing the door.
He followed and behind me slowly teasing me the whole way. I got my bed made up and sat down to eat my burger. We both sat there just talking and speculating on why that girl had been chased by that werewolf. After we finished our food and beers we went to bed, but I couldn't keep her out of my head. She was driving me mad with curiosity...
