"god damn shortcutt!" shouted lee. his hands were white from clutching the steering wheel. " Does it ever fucking end?" "well it was nice of him to tell us about it." whispered kristin. "What did you say?" grumbled lee. "nothing." squeaked kristin. "good girl. and when you come back from your mothers, i want you to be rid of all your dark shit." "but dad, its-" lee looked back while driving, and shouted " I said gone, do you hear me? GONE!" There was a loud bang. "FUCK!" lee turned back around. the car swerved on and off the road, before finally crashing into a rock. kristin grabbed the baby, and jumped out of the car. lee and jess got out and inspected the car. "shit. its fucking totaled!" lee turns to kristin. "its all your fucking fault. get out of my site. take your baby brother and get in the trailer. make us some dinner.

Lee and Jess are playing cards. kristin lays the baby down, then lays on the couch bed. " get off of there." said lee. " thats the dogs bed, you know that." kristin stands up and the german shepard, Karma, hops up and curls up. kristin sits on the ground. Jess looks over at her. "Why are you goth?" "because its how i ended up. thats who i am." "well not anymore." scoffed lee. "if i ever see you wear anything like that again, or see a smidge of that makeup on you again, you'll be so black, blue and red, you wont need the makeup." Jess laughed. Kristin sighed. "can i turn on the radio?" "none of that rock crap. only country." kristin leans over and turns on the radio. "the look in your eyes wont let me down, lets leave here tonight, lets leave this town, leave those broken hearts behind. i swear it will be right, it will be right this time..." lee stood up. "i said no rock crap!" kristin quickly changed the station. lee sat back down. " stawberry wine. at seventeen..." lee raches over and turns it off. "that was your mothers favorite song. its CRAP!" "im cold." jess whines. "then go get your jacket." "cant kristin go get it?" "no, but you can!" lee snapped. "fine!" grumbled jess. he stood and walked over to the door. he threw it open and stomped outside. the dog ran after him, and up towards the hills. "god damnit jess!" shouted lee. jess came running back with his jacket. "what did i do?" "you let the damn dog out! come on, lets go get her." lee turns to kristin. "you stay here with the baby. we'll be back. and if anything goes wrong, so help me..." he turned and they took off after then dog.
"Karma's a bitch, huh dad?" kristin laughs. "leave the door open." she hears lee shout. she turns off the lights, and lays in karmas bed. 5 minutes pass, then 10. she hears a creak. "did you catch her?" she hears raspy breathing. the light comes on and she rolls on her side, facing the wall. a hand clasps over her mouth. she turns and looks up. a man with a disfigured face stares back at her. one of his eyes is infected and has yellow goo coming out of it. he has a red patch of skin around one eye. he lifts a finger to his lips. "shh!" kristin trys to scream, but is muffled. he moves on top of her. kristin hears scuffling , and one of the birds squack. she tilts her head slightly just in time to see a man biting the head off the bird, spit it out, and lets its blood drain down his throat. then the man looks over at her. he wipes the blood off his face, and walks over to her. he pulls the first man off of her. "you gotta be a man to do that!" he pulls out a gun, and beats the first man with the handle. he points the gun at the first mans head and says "i told you to move, so move!" the first man tries to get up, and gets kicked in the but by the second. "now get, get!" he turns to kristin andsits on the bed. he reaches out and grabs her legs. she starts screaming and so does the baby. "what you got under there? thats it give it to me. woooo!" he smacks her hard across the face, and she stops struggling. she turns her head and sees him undoing his pants. then he grabs her and pulls down her night cloths and underware. he pushes inside, and she lets out a scream of pain. he smells his fingers and continues. she becomes silent and looks at him. a tear slides down her face. he pulls out and zips up his pants. he grabs the baby. "NO! please no!" he looks at herwith a satisfied smile. "you can take me!" she begs. "Kill me, but leave my brother." they hear shouts coming from far away outside. its lee and jess. they had heard the babies screams.
he puts the baby back, and grabs kristin by the arm, dragging her to the door. he pulls her outside. the boys are almost there. the second man pulls out a gun and points it at kristin. "wheres my little boy? kristin, if you have anything to do with this, i swear ill whip the shit outta you!" shouts lee. "please. do it." says kristin. she closes her eyes. the man pulls the trigger. CLICK! "shit!" shots the man. he leans down. "ill come back fer ye." he turns to run. kristin reaches out and grabs his leg. he looks back at her. " take me with you!" he looks back at the running people, then at pluto, far in the distance, then back at her. he reaches down and pulls her up. "lets go!" she goes running with him into the hills. once deep in the rocks, the stop and he raps his chain of spikes around her, so she cant run. he smells her hair. he leans down to her ear. "whats yer name, little one?" she shivers. "kristin." "hmm." he licks her cheek. "Lizard." he drags her along the path.

"whats yer name, little one?" she shivers. "kristin." "hmm." he licks her cheek. "Lizard." he drags her along the path.
