Ray almost fell over the package before he noticed it lying outside the bus, he picked it up frowned when he saw Gerard’s name on the envelope, he opened it up to see a tape inside, he walked into his bus, he went over to his bunk, took his tape player and put the tape i to listen to the contents : “ Gerard Arthur Way, I Anthony Iero do not love you, I have in fact never loved you and nor will I ever love you, I want you to forget about me and move on with your life, you deserve all the happiness that you can get and it isn’t with me.” Ray shook his head he knew this couldn’t be Frank, he knew he couldn’t allow Gerard to ever hear the tape he had to hide it, it will just break Gerard’s heart in the condition that he is in.
Mikey knew something was up with Ray, he knew him well enough to know he was hiding something and he was determined to find out what it was. He walked over to where Ray was sitting. “ hey Ray I know you are hiding something from me and I want to know what it is, I’m your boyfriend and you shouldn’t keep secrets from me.” “O I’m your boyfriend now am I?” Ray smirked as he saw the incredulous look on Mikey’s face. “Of course I don’t just fuck anyone you know?.” Mikey pretended to look affronted. Ray sighed and played the tape to Mikey unaware that Gerard who was just about to walk passed had heard everything...
Gerard ran out from where he was hiding and went to his room, threw himself down on his bed and cried his heart out, he couldn’t and wouldn’t believe what the tape said until he heard it himself out of Frank’s mouth, but the words sounded so real. Mikey and Ray both heard the sobs that came out from Gee’s room, they went into his room and cuddled, on the left side lay Mikey with his arm tight around Gerard’s waist, Ray on the right side his hands stroking and patting Gerard’s back, the only thought to comfort him...
