Chapter 13: Milk Run
"I wasn’t lying though. Nobody knew the real Alyce. I’m not even sure if she knew herself."
?Blocked
I did the unthinkable… I did something I shouldn’t have done…I did the thing that Bill wanted to do. I did her. I’m a moron, but when you have her all over you, it’s a different story. It’s not like I could stop myself mid-way through. I suppose I could, but then what? I’d go home, jack off and be completely ashamed of myself? Ha, no.
She’s partly to blame. I mean it can’t be a one-some. She was basically asking for it and I’d be the biggest liar in town if I were to say I wasn’t. Who knew that I could be so fucking bold? I sure didn’t… Either way, I’d forget this happened; if not for mine or Alyce’s sake, but for Bill’s sake. I completely fucked up his plans and if he knew, he’d kill me. I could just see it now… Something would slip and he’d get that crazy look in his eyes.
I have to forget… This never happened…
“Iz.” Her head was resting on my chest as I pushed her hair back from her face. It was painful to know that I couldn’t have her the way I wanted to have her, but instead tip toe around the situation…
“Mhm?”
“I think you’re pretty cool.” Woah… only cool?
“That’s all?” I bite my lip and look into her eyes, hoping she’d find a certain feeling deep down.
“What am I supposed to say?”
“Nothing. That’s fine.” I give her a weak smile before I close my eyes.
So…imagine the picture. I’m here, naked and stuff; deeply in love with this girl. Gave her everything I possibly had to give and I’m only cool?
“I think you’re cool too Ace.” Let’s see how that feels.
“Thanks…Hey Iz.” Didn’t even bother her…Wow.
“Yes?” Well I’m not going to lay here naked anymore.
I quickly get up and pull on my underwear, feeling a bit embarrassed of the whole situation, but I’d never say anything.
“That thing I read yesterday…did you write it?”
My heart starts pounding. My hands get clammy. What THING, did she exactly READ…Oh boys, this is going to get weird…
“What thing?”
“It said ‘Think About You’.” Oh God no…
“Oh. You read it? Yeah I wrote that.” Act suave…She’ll never see through it, right?
“Cool. Who’s it about?”
Then I think about what she just said. ‘I think you’re cool’…just cool… To save myself I throw my feelings under the bus.
“A girl I met.” Technically I wasn’t lying.
“Oh…who is she? Do I know her?”
“Nope. No one here knows her.”
I wasn’t lying though. Nobody knew the real Alyce. I’m not even sure if she knew herself.

Before I left her room to go fetch the milk for my mom, I paused outside her door. I was wondering if I should turn back around and just tell her, let her know; let her feel how badly I wanted her. Thoughts of Bill crossed my mind and I KNOW he’d kill me. They’d never find my body. He’d certainly kill me then plant the body on someone. No one messed with Bill, even I knew that. I’d let someone else screw up first…
“Iz?” My heart pounded against my chest. It was pounding so hard that I swore she’d be able to hear it through the door.
I went for the door knob, and again, another picture of Bill crossed my mind. I scratched my nose, sighed a little and left defeated.
I couldn’t help but notice that the day seemed to shine a little more than usually. I felt kind of different, but nothing really changed. I felt like I was some man, but honestly I didn’t look more manly. Same old me, just a brighter day. Her touch was kind of addicting, but I’d never dare tell her. Besides, I needed to play it cool, in case I ran into Bill. The whole way to the store, I kept running my fingers through my hair to make sure it didn’t look messy. If I did happen to run into anyone, I didn’t want them suspecting anything. I guess I feel guilty.
“Hi Mr. Woods.” I mumble over the counter as I walked into the little shop a few blocks away from my house. He was a good family friend. All the other kids on the block would make fun of him because he had a gigantic scar on his face from World War II. I always thought he was pretty cool.
“Well hello Jeff. How are you doing today?” HAH…Wish I could tell him, or at least anyone for that matter.
“Not bad. I’m here to pick up some milk for my mom.” I grab a carton from one of the little fridges and bring it back to the counter.
“You look different, son.” I gulp and dig in my pockets for the change.
“You grew your hair out. That’s it!” He snaps his fingers as he counts the change I had put on the counter.
“Ha. Yeah. It’s supposed to be the new thing.” I tuck a piece of hair behind my ear as he plugs in the numbers.
“Don’t grow it too long, or you’ll look like a little girl. You know, back in the army they wouldn’t even allow us to have our hair passed our ears. You kids and your new fads.” He smiles as the register makes a loud noise.
“Ugh, thank you?” I grab the milk and the receipt.
“Have a great day Jeff. Tell your mom I said hi!”
I quickly nod and leave the store. Awkward... I’ll let you know when I grow tits, but as far as I know, I’m still a man.
AN: I know that there's a lot of repetition from hearing Izzy's side of the story, but at this point it's very crucial to have it in here. I promise that there will be more excitement real soon! I'd love a review or two to see if you guys are still interested in the story and if it's still a good idea to continue it :)
