Chapter 14 : Shadows
Naruto was standing in his mindscape. The once bright and peaceful field now held an air of darkness. Black clouds tried to cover the two moons, and monsoon rain fell heavily from the sky. Standing in the center of the field, directly in front of Kuramas cage was Orochimaru.
"Kukuku, this is very interesting. It seems someone has been studying their Fuujinjutsu." Orochimaru turned away from the snarling Kyuubi, and smiled a sinister smile at the approaching Naruto. "Orochimaru." Naruto intoned with a grimace. "Ah, Naruto-kun. I have been watching Anko-chans memories for the past few months. She seems quite taken with you. I mean a shinobi of your calibur, with your impressive lineage, its no wonder." The snake smirked and took a few steps forward. "But now you've gone and done me such a great service. I was starting to think Anko-chan would never give in. To be honest my true self gave up on reclaiming me awhile ago. But what do you do? You volunteer to give me your body, along with the most powerful Bijuu in existence, for that I thank you." Orochimaru licked his lips and smiled at the blonde boy.
"That isn't going to happen you twisted fuck. I'm going to shove my sword so far up your ass, you'll be tasting your own colon." "Thats right kit, kill this vile little snake!"
Naruto glanced at the powerful fox. "I plan to Kurama." Naruto unsealed Masamune. Orochimaru smiled even wider and regurgitated his Kusanagi. "Lets see how strong you truly are, Naruto-kun." Orochimaru said with a twisted gleam in his yellow eyes.
(Meanwhile)
Asuma was facing off against the berserking Naruto. He was sealed in a barrier with the raging blonde, who was leaking 3 different Chakra signatures. His hair was wild and spikey, his eyes were slit and kept changing colors. From blue, to red, to yellow.
Asuma Ducked a wild hook and countered with a punch to the chest. The berserk Naruto stumbled back a little bit, before roaring and attacking even harder. "Come on kid, you can do it. Hurry up and kick that snakes ass." Muttered Asuma.
The surrounding ninja watched the battle with rapt attention. Anko was being held by Kurenai, and had yet to wake up. Kakashi was visibly worried, but he believed in his ototou. He knew that if anybody could pull this off it would be Naruto. Said blonde charged the chain smoking Jonin Asuma, and re-engaged him in Taijutsu. Asuma however had to use his special trench knives to deflect Naruto's razor sharp claws. The crowd could only hope that Naruto would finish Orochimaru sooner, rather then later.
(Inside Naruto's Mindscape)
Naruto and Orochimaru's swords were locked together. The maskless Naruto was calm and focused, but his expressive eyes burned with great intensity. He and Anko-chan had grown very close, rather quickly. He knew what this bastard did to her, and how it affected her entire life. She was ostracized by a majority of the civilian population, and even quite a few shinobi because of her former ties with the snake. He would kill this vile creature, he would kill him for what he did to his Anko-chan. 'My Anko-chan? When the hell did that happen?' Naruto thought to himself.
His thoughts were interrupted however, when Orochimaru came at him even more ruthless then before. "Kukuku. You are rather skilled Naruto-kun. It seems that Anko-chans memories and thoughts were accurate. However you stand no chance against me." Orochimaru said with a sinister smile. "You won't be saying that after I gut you like a fish. You thought you were stronger then my father too, but he still surpassed you and was named Hokage. The fact is Pedo-teme, your old news. A washed up old has been clinging to the idea of immortality, because you realize your best years are behind you." Orochimaru was growing more and more furious as Naruto continued to speak.
"Whats the matter Pedo-teme? Did I strike a nerve? The 'all great and powerful' Orochimaru can't even beat a 13 year old?" Naruto asked with a smirk. Orochimaru seethed. "I will enjoy killing you you brat. Your father died, and so too shall you." Orochimaru charged Naruto who in turn dodged, parried, then countered. With the Kusanagi holding back the Masamune, Naruto summoned Kurikara and engulfed it in Azure Flames. He slashed out at Orochimaru who responded by leaping away. Naruto summoned Zangetsu on his back. A chakra chain grabbed the massive cleaver and hurled it at Orochimaru. Orochimaru dodged it only to be shoulder tackled by Naruto, two swords in hand.
Orochimaru recovered quickly and was again blocking Naruto's blows with all of his might. Orochimaru leapt away and raised his hand. "Hidden Shadow Snakes!" Naruto covered his body in Azure flames that incinerated all of the snakes on impact. After cutting off the flames from his body, Naruto charged at Orochimaru. Orochimaru responded by flying through hand seals, and took a deep breath. 'Windstyle: Great Breakthough' Naruto saw the mighty gale charging at him and simply flew over it. He didn't stop once he cleared the harsh gale, and continued swords slung back to bisect Orochimaru. The Snake seemed shocked, and blood started to pour from his mouth. That is until his body, along with his fluids turned into brown mud and dissolved into the ground. 'Mud clone!' Naruto's danger senses flared and he moved just quickly enough to evade a fatal injury but that didn't stop the Kusanagi from landing a good slash across his side.
Naruto bit back the pain and attacked the Sannin with gusto. Blood poured from his wound, but he continued to fight. He would not lose here, not to this bastard. Their swords continued to clash and spark against eachother as Kurama watched closely from his cage. His chakra bubbled dangerously across the ground of the mindscape, and the air was slowly becoming saturated with the purple chakra of Orochimaru. Naruto knew that he had to finish this quickly, who knows what was going on outside in the real world, with all of these different chakra's flaring and mixing together.
(Meanwhile)
Kakashi had not fought this hard in quite a while. He had long since taken Asuma's position fighting against his ototou. Said blonde was rampaging, and it didn't look like he was going to be slowing down anytime soon. Kakashi threw a punch only to be blocked and backhanded across the face. He rolled along the ground and was about to stand back up when something unexpected happened. Naruto collapsed upon the ground and started screaming in agony. "GAHHHHHHHHH!" The gathered shinobi looked on in horror as Naruto ripped the remainders of his singed clothes off to reveal his ribs separating. His ribs seemed to move and re shape. His fingers and hands elongated. His feet and legs did as well. The blonde continued to roar in anguish as his face elongated and seemed to resemble a foxes muzzle. Orange, and red fur grew and covered his body.
After a few minutes of shock, fear and great confusion to the gathered shinobi, Naruto stood up. He was now a 6 foot tall bipedal Fox. (A/N He looks like a lycan, except hes a fox instead of a wolf.)
The already rippling muscles across the boys body had expanded a bit and grew. His gravity, resistance, and chakra restraint seals glowed into life and shattered. Purple and Red chakra exploded outwards sending dust everywhere. The ground he stood on cratered. The large Feral Naruto proceeded to stretch both arms out to his side, as he leaned forward, 1 tail swaying behind him and Roared. "O-ototou!?" Kakashi asked with a great sense of fear. Asuma's cigarette was already lying on the floor from the beginning of the boys transformation. At first Asuma had thought that either Naruto had defeated Orochimaru, or that Kakashi had beaten the rampaging blonde into submission. Asuma grew pale looking at the hulking monstrosity. The bruised and beaten Jonin yelled at the top of his lungs. "YOU GOTTA BE FUCKIN KIDDING ME!"
All bets were off now. All the Shinobi minus Jiraiya, the Hokage, and the unconscious Anko rushed into the barrier to subdue the Beast Formed Naruto.
(Back in the seal)
Naruto's mindscape was falling apart and fast. The ground was cracking, tremors were ripping through the forest. The sky was growing darker, and chakra of different colors was exploding from the ground. "WHAT THE FUCK KURAMA, CONTROL YOURSELF!" Naruto screamed to the massive caged fox. "IM TRYING KIT! Hurry up and finish this insect! Your body can't hold three different souls and chakras at one time! Its causing an instability in your body. I don't know what will happen if you don't hurry up!"
'Fuck!' Naruto swore to himself. 'Im fighting with too much emotion. I need to calm down, and concentrate.' Naruto took a deep breath and centered his raging mind, all the while dodging attacks from the traitorous Sannin. Naruto's chakra surged, clearing the purple air around him. 'Anko-chan, I promised you a date. I never break my promises. I will not die here. I will defeat him, I will grow stronger. I will become Hokage! I will restore my clan! I WILL NOT DIE HERE!'
Naruto's eyes snapped open, blazing with new resolve. "THIS ENDS HERE!" He shouted. He charged Orochimaru and clashed swords once again. He pushed Orochimaru back and spartan kicked him in the chest, taking the wind out of the evil apparition. Before Orochimaru had a chance to recover, Naruto Hirashined behind him spin kicked him in the side of the head. As the snake was flying sideways Naruto flash stepped and kept his attack up. He gave the traitor no chance to recover as he brutally beat the shit out of him, with constant kicks and slashes. With one last mighty kick, that sent the snake sage into the air, Naruto sealed all his swords. He then unsealed Zangetsu and Buster Sword into his two empty hands. "GET OUT OF MY BODY! GEEETSUGAAA TENSHOOO!" In the bright light of his mighty attack, Orochimaru's soul fragment was vaporized.
(Meanwhile)
All of the Jonin fighting the rampaging Fox Beast were on their last legs. Bruises and gashes marred their bodies, blood ran from their wounds. The transformed Naruto now had 4 tails swishing behind him. They were about to resort too their most dangerous attacks. They only hoped the blonde would survive this. Gai was about to open a gates, and Kakashi had a Raikiri charged in his hand. Suddenly the Rampaging monster stopped however. Naruto fell to his knees and screamed again in agony as his bones again reshaped. His fur receded, and his body slowly began to resemble its regular self again. After a few moments of watching the gut turning transformation, Naruto sat before them, in the fetal position completely naked.
"I did it Anko-chan." He said quietly, before passing out.
