Apparently the savage wind can only be obtained during youth, this is why the mortality rate was so high it was believed that if you could teach them young, they could devote the rest of their time trying to control it. Due to this belief it was nearly impossible for anyone over a certain age to learn to utilize the savage wind. This is whyI wasn't told about it until I reached a suitable age,it was to make sure that I wouldn't seek this power and misuse it. When you kids were born we were afraid that we would have to go through the same thing,but we were relieved that only one of you inherited the gene. Even still we weren't overly concerned because when you were born your hair wasn't fully silver, the hair at the base of your head was black,so naturally we assumed we had nothing to worry about. But to our dismay as you grew older the black lightened and eventually your hair was a shade of silver even purer than mine."

"As you continued to grow older your combat prowess became evident, we truly began to worry that you would awaken that power. That was until we met Tsukiumi," Ganro paused favoring the blonde woman with a fatherly smile. "It was immediately obvious that she was your heartbearer ,or, one of them at least. You two probably didn't realize that you've felt the same way about each other even since you were children,but moving on, once you met her you subconciously limited yourself so that you could remain on an equal footing with her. You went from being a young prodigy to being silightly above average,but this was good we thought it would be for the best. Thats why it was so distressing for us when you suddenly disappeared, to be honest we felt certain that you would awaken it before you returned ,if you returned. I was able to sense immediately once I'd seen you yesterday, that you had indeed obtained the savage wind we actually planned to speak with you about it soon. Please forgive us for not bringing this up sooner."

"Well then," Atrayu sighed,his anger had evaporated quite as quickly as it had arrived. "I don't blame ya,I still think it would have been nicer to know before hand,but its too late now I'll just deal with it I guess," Tsukiumi gave his shoulder a tight squeeze,"I'm sorry,we'll deal with it," he ammended.


Author's note: This chapter was cut short I didn't realize how long it had gotten but no matter theres a lot more to come. Updates will no longer be every two weeks life is starting to rob me of my time,but I'll make time to continue writing. For those of you who wondered about it I will soon begin writing the prequel of this story starting from when Atrayu left the village and ending after he decided to return it will certainly answer a lot of questions, that weren't satisfactorily answered. It will also be in first person,though sadly it won't be a lemon.
