Immortal Love

Disclaimer: Ok...seriously...if I owned InuYasha I would not be here typing this right now. I would be yelling at the tv studio in Japan asking why they ended the show the way they did! And then force them to let me complete the show so the ending of it doesn't leave you hanging! GRRRRRR...I really hated the way they ended the show!
Also...Thanks White Angel Chi for all you support and helping me write this chapter! I owe you one girl!!!
Ok! On with the story!
Chapter 4
"Waking Up Screaming"
Last chapter...
"Jakken. Bring our guest whatever she asks for I will be in my study. No one is to enter this room without permission from this Sesshomaru, is that understood?"
Jakken bent down forehead touching the floor and said, "Yes, Me Lord, I will do as you ask."
The Taiyoukai then gracefully exited the room and proceeded down the corridors that would eventually lead him to his study.
"I can't believe that Lord Sesshomaru has brought another filthy human to life! What in the world is my Lord thinking!?" Said Jakken to himself.
"Water please...so thirsty..." came a weak whisper from the futon.
"Yes, yes, I'm getting there...I should just let you die of thirst, but I will follow my Lord's orders."
Jakken quickly left the room and headed for the kitchen to retrieve water for the unwanted guest.
Not being able to stay awake any longer, Kagome slipped into unconsciousness once again.

Sesshomaru came upon the entrance to his study, before opening the doors he stood there and looked at the immaculate design. The doors to his study were made of oak, his father had them made by an famous artist from a foreign land that he was not familiar with. Carved with amazing accuracy the left door was a large Inu Demon the likeness of his and his fathers true form (a large dog demon). The demon flew gracefully through the sky, overlooking an intricately carved Sakura tree, and a beautiful woman sitting beneath it on the right door. This was a representation of his mother and beside her stood a child smiling down upon her, face full of contentment, this child was young Lord himself. Sesshomaru reached out and touched the image of his mother, a sad glint in his eyes. Shaking the emotions away that only his mother has seen, he took on his emotionless façade once again.
He then slid the right door open and gracefully entered a large room. Shelves that were carefully carved, filled with timeless volumes of books upon books covered the back and the right side of the walls. Taking the space of the left wall is a huge window cradled between beautiful silk draperies and over looking the lush garden. His mother had placed it there with tender care, so that she could look upon the beautiful landscape from the serene room. In the center of the room was a large table piled high, but neatly, with scrolls. Thrown around the room in various locations were huge plush pillows, so that his guests and he himself could sit comfortably.
Sesshomaru walked over to the window and looked down into the lush garden where he saw his ward, who was picking flowers and humming a little tune that she made up.

Sesshomaru let is cold façade drop for a brief moment and smiled,
"Such a foolish song with foolish words..." he thought to himself, but deep down inside he felt a warmth in his soul that could only be caused by this little girl, Rin. He stood at the window a while longer then proceeded to his desk and sat down behind it. He carefully picked up a scroll, unrolled it and began to read.
Awhile later back in Kagome's room...
Jakken walked back into Kagome's room, trying hard not to make noise, in fear of waking the girl and feeling the wrath of Lord Sesshomaru's poisoned claws. The toad demon placed the glass and pitcher of water on the side table near the bed. Jakken quietly walked out of the room and closed the door behind him.
Where am I? What is happening, cold so cold, I don't know where I am! I slowly look around trying to see what is around me, but still all I see is darkness all I feel is coldness. I need warmth I need light. I turn my head to the left and see something glowing, it's a pink light. I walk towards it wondering what it is and where it leads. I feel warmth, so welcoming. The closer I get the warmer it is. Ahhh...heat, lovely heat. I look around me and see that I am now in the pink light. It's the hot spring. So warm, so comforting. I sit down in the water and close my eyes, feeling my body relax...suddenly I feel pain, my eyes shoot open, the pain is in my wrists and the back of my feet. I look down into the water its pink but slowly it's turning into a deep crimson red. I start to feel like I'm floating as if my soul is leaving my body. I realize that I am indeed floating above the spring. I am suddenly confused. I see a body below me, eyes blank, no spark what-so-ever. I recognize this body, it looks somehow familiar, I slowly float towards it, to get a better view of it. Oh Kami! It's me! It's me! What has happened? Why is my body floating lifelessly in the water?! I get closer and blink hoping that it's just a dream...suddenly the head turns and the arms they reach for me, I scream but no noise is coming out, I try to push the body away from me, but grabs a hold of me, I continue to silently scream, begging him to help me... "InuYasha!! InuYasha!!!"...
In Sesshomaru's Study...
Sesshomaru was on his second scroll when he heard a scream, he quickly jumped up and ran out the door, running down the hallway towards the Miko's room.
"What has caused the Miko such affliction, I must hurry and make sure that there is no immediate danger." Sesshomaru thought.
The TaiYoukai stopped in front of the door that held the Miko's room on the other side. Sesshomaru quickly opened the door and scanned the room using his demon senses, but found nothing amiss.
"InuYasha!!!! InuYasha!!! Help me please!!!" screamed Kagome.
"She screams for my baka half brother? After all the hanyou did to her, she still calls out his name, ningens are so dim-witted."
Sesshomaru quickly glided towards Kagome's bed, gently shaking her awake while saying,
"Miko, there is no need to fret, there is nothing here, only this Sesshomaru, wake up ningen, your screaming is becoming tiresome and his causing damage to this Sesshomaru's ears."
Kagome started to fling her arms in the air almost as if she was trying to get away from someone or something. Sesshomaru once again shook the girl, but a little harder this time. Kagome quickly sat up, bumping heads with the Great Lord of the Western lands. Their heads collided so hard, that it caused the stoic Lord to stumble backwards from the force of the blow landing very ungracefully on his arse.
"Ouch! My head hurts!" said Kagome out loud. She slowly scanned the room trying to figure out where she was at, "For Kami sake where the hell am I?" she said aloud.
"You, ningen, are in this Sesshomaru's home." The Lord said with a growl.

Enchanted Faery: So what do you think so far Kagome? Sesshy? InuYasha?
Kagome: I like it, what about you Sesshomaru-Sama? InuYasha?
InuYasha: KEH!
Sesshomaru: ......
EF: Um...Sesshy?
Sesshomaru: ......GRRRRR.....
EF: um Fluffy?
Sesshomaru: If you must know, I found the ending quite out of character. In no way would I care if a filthy ningen was free from harm. Nor would I, the GREAT LORD OF THE WESTERN LANDS, allow a ningen to bump heads with me, for I am to quick for that...
EF: Oh will ya look at that, someone is at the door, Fluffy could you be so kind and get that for me...
Sesshomaru: I am not your servant
EF: Please Sesshy poo, do it for our love?
Sesshomaru: (she knows I cannot resist the pouty lower lip and the eyelash batting) I will answer the door, but not because you asked this Sesshomaru to, but because I want to!
(quickly exits the room with all his grace and glory)
Kagome: He always falls for that bit doesn't he? You've got him wrapped around his little finger.
EF: whatever are you talking about Kagome?
Kagome sweat drops
Kagome: Oh brother, you are so full of it!
EF: I wonder who is at the door
Sesshomaru appears back into room, with something attached to his leg...
EF: Sesshy who was at the door (notices the attachment) Um...hello? Who are you?
It's me silly! Your muse!
EF: White Angel Chi! What are you doing here?
White Angel: Just came to see how you were doing.
EF: Yay! I missed you!
Sesshy: You there, White Cheese or whatever your name is, please dislodge yourself from my leg...
White Angel: It's WHITE ANGEL CHI and I don't wanna...
EF: Come here girl give me a hug!
WA: ok (WA skips towards EF and gives her a huge hug) Oh! Hi Kagome! Where is InuYasha with his cute dog ears?
Kagome: I don't know he left as soon as he heard the door bell.
WA: Oh man! I wanted to touch his ears!
