Chapter 25
Epilogue
Kagome still could not believe she had those dreams, even if Sesshomaru intended for her to have them. She had only just begun this secret love affair with Sesshomaru they day she went to the spring and killed herself. What a dream. But as the days and months went by she realized the dream she had, was not a dream at all. It was a premonition of what was to come. So when the time came to defeat Naraku, Kagome knew that if she didn't protect her children with her life, they would die, so when she returned to the Feudal Era, she made sure to leave her children with her mom, so that nothing would happen to them. Only she and Sesshomaru would go back. She let the other's know what was going to happen and to be prepared for the worse. So they were. And because of how prepared they were, Naraku was defeated rather quickly. You see by combining all their powers along with Mi San's powers, they were able to defeat the evil hanyou with almost no problem what so ever, and hardly any one was hurt to badly and there was only one casualty from the battle, someone had lost their life defending his family with is life. That was a year ago today.
So what of the 3 pair of lovers? Well Miroku and Mi San have one child, a little boy who is now 2 years old, his name? Isamu. They got married a few months after Naraku was defeated. Miroku and Mi San are now expecting their second child; Mi San expects it to be a girl, Miroku disagrees. But they both came up with a name, for a boy and for a girl. If the lover's have a girl her name will be, Aiko if they have another boy his name will be Jiro. Miroku moved to Sesshomaru's castle to be with Mi San, of course Sesshomaru had a fit, but got over it, thanks to Kagome's persuasiveness.
InuYasha and Sango are also married, in fact they just had a traditional Japanese wedding 2 months ago and they are also expecting their first child. Kohaku didn't make it, he died protecting Sango from being hit with one of Naraku's tentacles, it sliced through Kohaku instead, knocking out the Jewel shard that was keeping him alive. So I guess part of Kagome's premonition didn't come to be, luckily Sango was prepared for the worst.
Sango misses her brother so, but she has InuYasha and her friends with her, with them being there for her, Sango is slowly beginning to emotionally heal.
Sesshomaru and Kagome did end up having their western style wedding, she was able to bring the people from the feudal era to her time, it was the darndest thing. All she had to do is have Mi San cast a spell on the well, allowing all those who Kagome wanted to be there, to pass through. That is another story in itself, imagine, people from the past seeing the technology of today? Yeah, that was crazy (maybe I will tell you about that another time!), anyway, Kagome and Sesshomaru are also expecting there first child together. Kagome secretly hopes that her little one will be born with little puppy ears, like InuYasha and guess what...so does Sesshomaru. OH! And InuYasha finally realized that Sesshomaru wasn't as bad as he thought, and realized that he was a good and fair lord of the Western Lands. So InuYasha lives in Sesshomaru's Castle as well.
Rin has been learning fast about her herbs and it's magical properties, turns out that she's also a witch. So the knowledge of white magic is deep within her soul, just waiting to be released, which it is, slowly but surely, she has begun to go with Kagome to the surrounding villages, helping the sick get better and rumor has it, that she has caught they eye of a potential lover, of course still being as young as she is, Sesshomaru has forbidden her to proceed with the relationship. She's okay with it for now, she's more serious about her lessons anyways and personally isn't ready for a relationship.
Shippou on the other hand, is courting Souten, you know the remaining heir of the thunder brothers? Oh yes, so most of the time he is with her in her lands and occasionally she comes to visit everyone in the Western Lands.
And me, I still see Kagome when she passes through the well to visit us and to get supplies. Mom says that Kagome has become a very powerful miko, she's still my sister to me. But whatever. I'm in middle school now and I have a love interest. But like I said earlier, that's another story in it's self!
Well, there you go, now you know where everyone is at in their lives. And remember folks. When you fall in love with someone whether it be human or otherwise, love is in fact Immortal, or at least it feels that way.

WAC: Ok I would never let him do that, but I'm afraid it's true.
Kagome: GROSS! Will you all stop talking about this, It totally freaking me out!
EF: Oh, yeah, whatever miss freak!
EF starts to sing 'The Freaks Come out at Night'
Miroku: EF, my love, will you please accompany me to the temple?
EF smiles knowing what's in store. Sure, no problem. I could use the fresh air.
Sango: HENTAI!!!!!
Kohaku: What have I done? How could I have killed my family?
InuYasha: Get over it! What's done is done! Besides it's just a story! Geeze!
Kohaku snaps out of his reverie.
Kohaku: Oh good! I got a date with a hot chick, see you all later!
Sango: Don't come home to late, little brother!
Shippou: Pocky please!
Kagome: Well that was rude of EF! She left without saying good bye! Fine I guess I will do it for her. Kagome looks at readers.
