It was the day of her wedding to Nicolae, and Sonja was pacing the room, nervous as could be. She didn't love him, but she knew that if she didn't questions would be raised about who the father of her child is. She couldn't let Lucian be punished for loving her, she just couldn't. The door opened and she stopped pacing, looking over at Viktor who stood in the doorway.
"You look beautiful," He says, an amiable smile replacing his usual scornful gaze, "Your mother would be proud."
"Thank you, Father," She says as he places a kiss on her cheek. The rest of the day goes by, and seems as if ages have past and yet as if no time at all has elapsed. Everyone was so happy for her, congratulating her. She was forced to smile and act as if this was exactly what she wanted, but it wasn't.. She wanted to be with Lucian, she wanted to be marrying Lucian. The most painful part of the day was when she saw him, her Lucian.. Busy working
