APRIL 20, 2007

Chris looks at her host. She keeps her eyes locked on him. Gale looks around, seeing nothings wierd or out of place. He looks blankly back at her.

"What? Is there something on my face?" Gale looks at a mirror to see if somethings a miss on his face.

"No." Chris looks at Gale, smiling wierdly at him.

"Tell me, I won't you alone until you tell me." Gale hops onto his bed. He turns of the light and kicks his leg up passing the blankets onto Chris.

Chris giggles lowly. "Okay, fine. I've been noticing things around me lately, and I wanted to know. What's your relationship with Riku?" She place an hand on his shoulder. Gale freezes but keeps his cool.

"We're just really close friends. That's it." Gale wrestles with the pillow to get it situated right.

"Oh really?" She squints at him. Gale could feel her squinting at her.

"Yeah we just clicked when we met I guess." Gale finally stops moving. He can feel her look fading. "Night." Gale said as he tried to sleep.

"If that's what you say. You can be honest with Gale. I won't tell anyone I promise." Chris begisn to tickles Gale, trying to get him to crack.

Gale stops Chris' hand. "Get some sleep we have school tommorrow."

"Okay, night Gale." Gale can feel Chris roll over.

Gale watches his clock, after an hour he slowly gets up off the bed not to wake Chris from her slumber. Reaching into pants from the other day, he pulls out the letter Barrett had tossed. Gale walks to deck, opening the door very slowly and closing it the same. Tearing the letter open, Gale leans against a wall of his house.

"This ain't over yet, not by a long shot boi. I'm still cumming to get you, keep your eyes open and you fists ready. Watch yo' bitches too. I'm not letting nuttin' drop between us you punk ass bitch. Don't count on your friends to always save you, not that murderous steroid induced freak, that faggot you're always hanging with, the bitch like midget, even that queer as hell new kid. Watch yourself.

"...Bastard." Gale crumbles the letter tossing it in the shrubery below while walking back into his room.

Chris begins to moan in her sleep. Gale fixes her covers laying down thinking about what he was going to tell Tseng come tommorrow.

"Please stop..." Chris rolls over, begining to sweat.

Gale looks at her, cocking his head sideways "Stop what?"

"Stop, please... Don't hit me, please." Chris' moaning becomes louder.

Gale rolls over gently wrapping his arm around her. "No one's going to hit you, I swear it."

Chris breathing becomes faster. As if she's running, yet still asleep. Gale thought to himself to wake her, she's too young to be having a heart attack.

"Chris calm down, I'm here now. Everything'll be all right. No one's going to hit you." He holds her close trying to calm her. Chris shoots up awake now panting heavily. "Uhm what the hell?" Gale releases his arms from around her.

Chris suddenly sits up. Waking from her haunted sleep. She looks at Gale who just looks back at her oddly. "Sorry, bad nightmare." she lasy back down with her back facing Gale.

"Right..." he rolls over holding a pillow yawning before going to sleep. Chris nudges his arm, he doesn't respond. Chris returns to sleep without further thought.

"HEY ANSWER ME!" Gale reacehs around grabbing for his phone. He knew Riku was calling from the custom ring.

"Good morning." Rikus voice came over the phone.

"Morning hun." Gale rises up with mcuh joy.

"Where you at sweetie? It's like Nine. School's about to start." Riku tells Gale with some humour in his voice.

"SHIT! I'll be there in a few, love ya." Gale hangs up waking Chris up by shaking her arm violently.

"What is it Gale?" Chris moans sitting up

"Get up and get some clothes on school starts pretty fucking soon." Gale throws over a white button down and pair of khaki shorts.

"What?" Chris hops out of the bed and looks at the clothes she was tossed "Shorts?" notices her legs have some stubble, but clearly don't belong on a guy.

"Oh those are mine." He throws a pair of jeans over to her. Gale quickly sliding on the shorts and buttoning the shirt rushing into the bathroom washing his face brushing his teeth.

Likewise, Chris puts on the pants, and stumbles in the bathroom to get some of his mouth wash.

Gale gargles spitting out the mouth wash running to his desk grabbing his messenger bag sliding on a pair of flip flops. "You ready?!" Gale grabs his keys and stands next to his door.

A spitting sound is heard. "Yeah" Chris walks out.

Gale and Chris both rush downstairs hoping into the Gale's car speeding off to school.

"Thank you again for last night." Chris puts her hand on Gales. Gale ignores her, but a small quant smile on his face. She knew what his response is. Gale arrived at theirs school, a little after 9:45, he had arrived 40 minutes late for their first classes.

"Well we made it here, just gotta wait for second peroid to start." He smiles awkwardly looking at Chris who's still hanging onto the seat for dear life.

"Yeah we did." She slowly releases her grasp slowly

Both "men" enter the school walking to their respective locker section running into Riku and the rest of the group.

"About time you guys. Chris where were you this morning?" Riku held slung fixed the books resting in his hands.

Gale opens his locker finding another note placing his messenger bag over it as he slides it into his pocket. "Sora lemme see a notebook."

Sora gladly hands him a note back. "Whats that about?"

"Someone give me a pen." Gale yawns stretching. Riku tosses him a pen. Gale presses the notebook on Sora's back writing furiously.

"Whats going on here?" Sora tries moving, Gale just forced Sora to stay still.

"Huh? Just writing a quick essay for Dr. Rosa." He writes quickly and as good as he can.

"Dr. Rosa, UGH you have her to Gale?" Kairi walks up to Sora and kisses him.

"Yea 2nd period." Gale finishes up tearing the paper out folding it putting it in his jacket pocket. "Dammit I left my cell in the car."

"I'll grab it for you, I can run faster than you." Riku offers to go and grab it.

"I'll go with you." Gale slams locker shut walking behind Riku.

"I gotta get to the library before class too." She kisses Sora. "See everyone in classes later." She begins to walk off.

Kairi heads towards the library, however she passes it and goes out through a door that leads to the student parking lot. She begins to think to herself. "What's with Riku and Gale? They've been almost inseperable since Gale first came here."

Kairi continues to the Student Parking quickly making a turn for a short-cut to the student parking lot. "They're up to something. I'll figure out what Gale and Riku are up to." She snickered. Hiding behind a car, every chance she got moving closer and closer. Until she was one car away from Gale and Riku. Positioning herself behind the tire so they couldn't see her shoes or herself. She began to listen, sometimes looking in the cars mirror to see them.

Gale leaned back on the door of his Eclipse, "Were your parent's mad because I just took you this past weekend?" he smiled at Riku who was standing rather close to Gale.

Riku smiled back at Gale "Kind of but when I told them you just needed a friend to be with you, they cooled down a lot" looking into Gale's crystal blue eyes.

Gale took Riku's hand pulling him closer to his body "Thanks for going with me" staring back into Riku's metallic blue eyes.

Finally giving in Riku completely leaned his body against Gale's, rest his head against Gale's. "I'm happy we spent the weekend together, I wouldn't have had it from any other way" Riku said calmly leaning his head back looking at Gale's perfect face, not a single blemish nothing his skin was absolute perfection.

"No other way, huh?" Gale chuckled wrapping his arms completely around Riku kissing his neck.

Riku moaned enjoying his lovers kisses breathing in Gale's clean scent, "Gale.."

Kairi freaked out, she had seen guys make out before. They didn't really bother her, but two of her best friends?! How long had they be up to this? Had they had sex? Why hadn't they told her? Her heart in her throat, she wanted to speak, she wanted to stand, and scold them for not telling her. But her body was frozen. What should I do? I can't stay here. She thought to herself. Bringing herself to look again she saw the icing on the cake.

Gale moved his hand into Riku's hair tangling it around his fingers, moving his other hand to Riku's ass squeezing it lightly. Gale pulled away "I love you" giving Riku time to respond.

"I love you too Gale" going back to kissing. Gale manuvered his body to flip it around so he was leaning on Riku, effortlessly pinning Riku's hands on the roof of the Eclipse. Never breaking the kiss.

Riku slowly pulled away chuckling "We can't just fuck here in the parking lot" Gale smiled and nodded in agreement looking at his watch.

"Off to class with you" he smiled leaning in getting one last kiss before sending Riku off to class.

Kairi took that as a hint slowly moving from car to car making her way back to the exit of the school, the one she used to get out there. Gale had noticed her several minutes before he and Riku began kissing. He wouldn't dare tell Riku, or the others about it, knowing Kairi wouldn't just blab he let out a sigh of relief. Opening the door to the Eclipse he sat down gently shutting the door cranking the car.

A tap on the passenger window. A man in a black suit standing there waiting.

"What the..." Gale questioned out loud rolling the window down.

Tseng stood there "Don't mind me" looking towards Riku entering the school Gale saw Vincent follow Riku in the school.

"Get in" Gale firmly said, Tseng oblidged Gale "Vincent lays one finger on Riku and everyone of you Turk asshole will die." Gale stated shifting the car into reverse dropping the e-brake.

"Vincent has his orders, but back to me and you. I told you I'd find you right?" Tseng said in a sickining tone.

"That you did Tseng." Gale mocked the Turk.

"Does lover boy know anything of the situation you're in Gale?" Tseng questioned Gale glancing around the car.

"No he doesn't, he won't know anything either." Gale stopped at a red light. "Good cause I don't need you two fag's screwing everything up. I don't care if you blow each other at night or whatever but, hey that's your business not mine." Tseng shrugged with a evil grin.

Gale reved up the motor of his car getting impatient with the light, "Yes that's mine and his business" finally getting fed up with the red light running it.

"Now Gale I begin to grow impatient with you, your answer now. A pleasant answer would be nice, the wrong answer causes trouble for you and your precious friends. Especailly with Chris' father being a drunk, I'd be suprised if he didn't end up dead when I get done talking with him." Tseng held that evil grin on his face.

"Not here, just enjoy the ride for now Tseng." Gale began to relax driving through traffic sometime's cutting onto the oncoming side just to get a rise out of Tseng.

"Gale your answer now, I'm becoming extremely impatient with you" Tseng growled. Gale smiled happy to be pissing the Turk off, he now knew his biggest flaw, one he could use against him, one that will be his downfall. Impatientence.

"Fine Tseng" Gale coldy stated, pulling the Eclipse into a empty parking lot getting out. Tseng exited the car as well stepping around looking it the shimering black car. Gale pulled out a pack of cigarette's offering one to Tseng who gladly took one, lighting both of the cigarette's Gale stepped away enjoying his nicotine buzz.

"Gale, your answer please." Tseng ordered from Gale.

"Tseng, you're away from the rest of the Turk's drop the act, I know you're not this uptight 24/7." Gale calmly said taking a drag on on is cigarette. "Uptight? Act? Gale, you know not who I am but what I am. And trust me you will never know the true me" Tseng hissed at Gale puffing away on his cig,

"Fine, then enlighten me, show me your 'true' self. Tseng." Gale retorted quickly.

"I never reveal myself to anyone, I never have and doubt I ever will." Tseng sighed walking around the Eclipse sitting on the hood of the car. Gale stood several feet away from the car taking a drag on his cigarette, Tseng studied him. This boy was tourmented but also extremely strong, he would not be a easy one to break but Tseng would make sure he would regaudless if he joined the Turks or not.

"Tseng." Gale spoke breaking the silence, "Yes?" Tseng snapped back. "Why do you want me to join the Turks?" Gale questioned looking at the cloudy sky,

"Simply because you're a brilliant young man with so much potential and I'm without a doubt the Turks would bring out that potential." Tseng firmly stated.

"But why do you want me to the point you're willing to hurt my friends?" Gale questioned once more hoping to find Tseng true notions.

"I get what I want, I don't care who I hurt, or whom I have to kill. I always get what I want" Tseng stated taking a final drag on his smoke flicking it beside Gale.

"Fine, I see now. And I've come to my decision." Gale sighed finishing his cig dropping it beside his shoe.

"And the answer is?" Tseng questioned trying not to get exicited, despite his cold exterior and his "hate" for Gale's happiness, he so wanted Gale by his side in the Turks. He would be a valueble asset, someone that actually know's what it's like to have someone, or a group of people they love in danger thus making him they're best weapon in a sense.

"I won't join you, but before you start saying I made a mistake and shit." Gale said walking over to Tseng. "Think about this, imagine if you were in my shoes, and your friends were the one's in danger" Gale continued getting in Tsengs face "Imagine if Vincent, or Rude, or even Reno were the one's constantly being harrassed by Barret, think about Elena. You wouldn't want to see her cry when her boyfriend was beat by Barret." Gale finished stepping back from Tseng.

Tseng started to speak but found no other word's but "I agree." Tseng couldn't believe what he was saying, had Gale gotten under his skin breaking his cold exterior. "But riddle me this, oh wise Gale." Tseng began, Gale had given him his undivided attention "Power, imagine if you had power over the school and soon this entire island, even sooner this entire island chain, or a continent, then the world would be our oyster. Power Gale, that is what fuels me it's the reason I wake up everyday. It's the reason I live. I wake each day knowing I will gain some form of power over someone, no matter who it is. And I do. Think Gale, think about the power we could have. I'm sure if you were to join the Turks you could persuade your little group of friends to join and then we would without a doubt have full control over this island without even a thought." Tseng finished.

"Tseng you truely are a fool" Gale said walking over to the door of his Eclipse opening it getting in cranking it just sitting there. He rolled the window down and looked Tseng dead in the eyes, looking into his dark, evil soul. "Well you coming?" Gale questioned reving his motor slightly.

Tseng walked over to the car, opening the door and sat down. "How am I fool? I'm most interested in hearing this riddle, kindly sage Gale." Tseng continued to try not letting Gale under his skin.

"Take to heart what I've said. " He backs out of the parking lot driving back to school.

"I know what your saying Gale, but let's not forget. I'm in control here. Not you." Gale spelled it out for Tseng to Tsengs slight surprise.

"Control? Is that all you car about? And who's to say I'm not the one in control?" Tseng returned the same riddle. "I believe we both have each other a perverbial barrel. In one hand I have your friends under my close eye. At the same time, your friends are always on the look out of my friends. Your friends are popular true, may have a shield of people watching them at school. But what about home? At the same time, if mine get messy a trip downtown will be in store for them, and possibly myself."

"See Tseng, no one is in "full" control." Gale pointed it a little more for Tseng.

"It may seem that way, but I've got nothing to lose like I said. You do, the boy toy, Sora and his girl, the freak and dwarf." Tseng and Gale knew whom he was talking about.

"Oh but you do Tseng, Elena. Vincent, Rude and." Gale shakes his head. "Even Reno."

"Those people are replacable, including myself. But what was that about? I saw your head shake when you said Reno's name. Do you covert over my friend?" Tseng caught Gale temporarily off guard.

"You don't deserve to have those people by your side Tseng. That's all I'm saying." Gale pulls into the student parking lot.

"Neither do you. We're all equally worthless for higher powers. But me and you, we're more alike than you realize." Tseng turned and looked at Gale. Their eyes caught. It was if Tseng was glaring into the soul of Gale.

Gale parks car opening the door "How so? Not that I'm totally obivious to the whole situation but how are we alike?"

"That's for you to figure out. I've already noticed it, you're just oblivious right now, but you'll see it eventually." Tseng stares back at Gale with distant and cold eyes.

Gale raises his eyebrow sighing. "We've got to get to class." Gale presses button on his keychain the Eclipse beeps as Gale walks into the school.

"I thought you were skipping out?" Tseng spilled out a secret he had learned.

"I changed my mind." Gale stopped Tseng's question.

"So think, what's your answer? Qid pro quo. Yes or no." Tseng stopped Gale.

"I told you Tseng, no." Gale opens the front door to the school sneaking past Cid's office.

Tseng puts his sunglasses on. "Very well, have a nice day." He walks a different direction away from Gale.

Gale opens the door to Mr. Reeve walking over sitting beside Riku.

"Mr. Chambers, you're late." A black medium lengthed, black haired man responded. His skin pal, and jaw sharp to a point. Not really built, and kind of skinny. His voice, extreamly cranky like an old man being rudely awakend by his grandkids.

"Sorry sir, family emergency. It won't happen again." Gale flips his book open looking down.

"Its okay Mr. Chambers. Take a seat, you'll be joining me after school. " Reeve goes up to deliever a mind numbing lesson on Pi.

Jason sitting next to Gale whispers "I think I"mm going to die." Gale realizes that Jason, himself and Riku were grouped togher.

Gale looks over to Jason and whispers loudly back "Shut the hell up and watch out for Chris today."

Jason holds his hand by his mouth, as he's scratching his nose whispers back "What do you mean?"

"MR. HILL! MR. CHAMBERS! Do we have a problem?" Mr. Reeves voice came bothering pitch.

"Yeah, we cann't hear you! Take the jock straps of your mouth!" Jason cracks a smile. The entire class busted out in laughter. Gale just laid his head down on desk looking at Riku.

"Very funny, we shall be discussing their taste today and everyday after school for the next week, I'd like to go back to teaching. Now..." Mr. Reeve goes back to his lecture.

Gale begins to write stuff down paying attention to Reeve. Jason does the same, some 45 minutes later, the sound of joy came that released the students.

"HEY! All of chapter 3's questions are due tomorrow by the end of class! Now get lost!" Mr. Reeve threw chalk at anyone moving too slow.

Jason hopped out of his seat, on the floor and grabs Gale's arm. "Lets go foo!" Gale breaks his grab and stops at his " I hate him. He sucks so much. God, I thought his mouth would never stop!"

Sora walks by on his way to Reeve's class. "Hey guys."

"Yeah..." Gale opens his locker pulling out his messenger bag.

"Something wrong?" Sora put his hand on Gale's neck.

"I just got back from talking with Tseng" Gale hangs head.

"Really? About what?" Sora rubbed his neck a little.

"He wanted me to join the Turks." Gale kept his voice low and depressed.

Jason became instantly angred "WHAT DID YOU TELL HIM?"

"No. I said NO to Tseng." Gale held the bag in his hand. He shut his locker and looked at Sora and Jason.

"Good I'm glad to see someone stuck up for themselves and their friends." Jason sighed a sigh of relief.

"Do you honestly think I'm going to let him push me into joining the turks?" Gale qusetion Jason.

"You'd be surprised who I heard was offered Turktract." Jason grabbed Gale's right arm.

"Who?" Gale slid the bag over his other shoulder.

"I heard Tidus was offered, but was able to make a break. Selphie, she's another one but I'm not sure what happened there." Jason looked at his watch. "Damn, I gotta get to English, Ms. Heartlily is probably going to kill me for being late. Jason ran off before he was too late.

"Just watch your back Sora." Gale grabs Riku's arm both rushing to History. Riku had remained silent the whole time in Reeves class and their conversation.

"I will!" Sora enters Reeves class.

As Gale and Riku bare make it to to Dr. Rosa's World History AP, they see that Vincent has taken residence in the back of the class. Riku and Gale, especially Gale's mind, knowing what Tseng could have ordered Vincent to do both looked at him with dismay.

"Shit" Gale said under his breath, he and Riku sit down side by side away from Vincent.

"Okay everyone, pull out your books and start reading from the assignment on board. I'll question you all randomly through the class, also I want you to answer any questions the book gives you in full sentences. No one worded answers." Dr. Rosa looked over to Tidus, who just looked back at her and mouthed 'what?' Gale sighs pulling out his note book and pen.

Dr. Rosa sat down and begins to prepare tests for later that week. Vincent takes this opportunity to toss some staples at Gale and Riku. Just to pester them as they study. Gale leaned over to Riku whispering "Just ignore him ok?"

"I was." Riku said under his breath, answering all the questions before reading the chapter they were assigned.

"Ahead of me eh?" Gale gave a light chuckle before going back to his work. Vincent begins to caugh loudly and clears his throat.

"Mr. Valentine, are you okay?" Dr. Rosa finaly spoke up after the fourth caugh.

"Just a minor cold." Vincent put no effort in his thought.

"Keep that cough under control, otherwise I'll escort you to the Nurse myself." Dr. Rosa looked at him sternly.

"Yes ma'am." Vincent stopped his rude intrution. Gale and Riku gave Vincent no mind as they continued their work.

Vincent puts an extra book on the ground and kicks hard at Gale's seat. Gale felt the shock of the book hitting him. He tunred and glared at Vincent, if looks could kill. Vincent pays him no mind and continues writing. Catching Gale off guard, Rosa took this opportunity.

"Gale Chambers, what year did Egpyt's King Tut die?" She shoots out suddenly.

Gale doesn't pay her attention as he keeps reading.

"Mr. Chambers, did you hear my question?" She sits up looking at Gale.

"Huh?" Gale feels Riku push his leg lightly. "Oh ummm 1323 BC ma'am?"

"Mr. Chambers, I expect you to be reading your books, and not staring of in space. Please concentrate on your studies." She gives him a mean glare of disappointment.

"Sorry ma'am." Gale returns to reading the book.

Vincent continues to toss staples every few minutes at Gale and Riku. Eventually the bell rings, before Gale and Riku could stand up, Vincent makes a mad dash to the door.

"Art time for me." Gal walks out of the room with Riku beside him.

"Yeah I have Psycho Cain at Gym now." Riku exhails as he walks to his locker.

Gale follows behind Riku leaning over his shoulder whispering in his ear. "Watch out for yourself ok?"

"I will." Riku kisses Gales cheek quickly. Gale smiles as he walks into Mr. Zabac Art Class. He sees Chris sitting by "him"self. Gale pulls up a seat and sits down.

"Hello." Chris smiles, letting the chair go, she must have at first wanted to be alone. Gale looked around, he didn't see a single Turk anywhere.

"How you doing?" Chris greets Gale as he joins 'him'.

"Okay I guess." Gale props head up with his left arm.

Chris looks at his male friend, puts a hand around Gale's neck. "You sure?"

"I'll explain at lunch." Gale sighs grabbing a pencil.

Mr. Zabac walks in, he's holding some Charcole, and he's speaking very low, very calmly. The same bandana around his head with a scare over his right eye.

"Okay folks, today i'm going to take it easy with you, we're going to some black and white drawings, nothing in particular. I want you all to draw a huge circle, it doesn't have to be perfect. Then, draw a few lines out of it, none of them have to be attached." Mr. Zabac cotinued rambling.

Gale shrugs his shoulders, looking down at his paper. Doing as he's told, starts to work on his sketch.

"Oh God, not this agian." Chris whispers in Gale's ear. Ward Zabac continued on, his calm voice making everyone at east. His random ideas becoming nice works of art for High School students. Fourty Five minutes pass, Chris is almost in tears with Mr. Zabac's drabble.

"Huh?" Gale mindlessly speaks as the bell rings, ending class. He looks up from his sketch of blood and death of a certain Turk.

"All right class, today I wanted to give you an easy day. We're going to making things more difficult wildly in a few days. Goto lunch and I'll see you all tomorrow." Mr. Zabac dismissed his class.

Gale reached over, grabbing his bag walking out of the room not a word to Chris. Gale and Chris top at their lockers. Gale tosses his bag in the locker, and runs down the hall. Chris puts her stuff in her locker and runs to catch up with Gale.

"Is it me or is Zell getting crazier and crazier every day?" Chris tries to rebuke Gale into a laugh. Gale just shrugs his shoulder, and enters looking for a table that he can sit with Riku.

Akirgale: KH uses a lot of FF characters, so do we.

taker: Rosa & Cain = FFVI, it was the one with Chrono Trigger. Ward Zabac was FFVIII. Reeve = FFVII. Using any and all, but tastefully and from teachers we've both had in the past. I miss my calc teacher (guess who he is in this story?)
