"Colonel Burleys and General Gunn, I want to have your wounded in our sickbay. They will be treated there and be released as fast as possible; it might be in several minutes, or maybe in several days." Harry looked to the two commanders, who were looking at him with their usual poker faces.

"Grandma, tell them to comply," Harry asked the Queen.

The Queen raised an eyebrow and then turned to her military commands. "Gentlemen, you heard Lord-Baron, after the meeting you transfer all your wounded and sick to the magical sickbay."

Both commanders nodded shortly, and that was all the reaction he got. Well, as long as the soldiers were being treated.

"Alright," Harry said to everyone. "I have many things to do, and as you probably might suspect, we are currently under attack. The castle Gryffindor is in lock down, and that means that nobody and nothing can go in or out of the castle. Next to the physical changes, it has also erected some additional shields, which kills anything outside within a radius of hundred meters around the castle."

Harry looked seriously at the Queen.

"I am not sure what the status and state is of the Castle and how long we have the protection of the castle. For this I need to go to the core of the castle and find out how I get this information. "

"I want to go too!" screamed Hermione enthusiastically.

"You will not," said Harry harshly. "You made problems during the battle, Hermione, and that is extremely dangerous. Someone could have died. And not only that, you refused to follow my orders to go back into the castle, and that stupidity might have cost you your life, if I would not have seen you in that corner in the entrance hall. That insane behavior during battle must be over, otherwise I sent you back to your parents, is that clear?"

Hermione started to cry ... again, and Ginny came to Hermione and hugged her.

"Why is it that only you go," asked Pansy.

"Simple, the core cannot be accessed by anything and anyone else other than only the Master of the castle and that is me. If somebody else would come with me, I don't know what would happen then. I assume that the entrance will stay closed, or the castle might hurt the person or persons with me."

I want to go over the things, which are the most important at this moment, and do it as briefly as possible. Then I will go to the core and find out what the status is of the defenses of the castle and I will come back to discuss the best defense, based on facts. I hope that is alright with everybody?"

Everyone nodded.

"Alright," began Harry. "I heard that there were some wounded, but they have been treated correctly and already released, except for Minerva McGonagall. I did not know that she was still in the castle, Hermione?"

Hermione looked up hesitatingly. "I feel sorry for her, she lost her magic," she said.

"Minerva McGonagall is a proud woman; she would never accept that anyone felt sorry for her. What is the real reason?" asked Harry.

"Well, uhm ... you see Harry, ... I think that Professor McGonagall might still function like a professor and for this I am trying to train her in Quick Magic," she said.

Harry was counting sheep in his mind, because he did not want to yell at Hermione again.

"Who is the headmaster of Hogwarts, Hermione? "Harry asked calmly.

"You are, Harry, but ..." started Hermione.

Harry interrupted her with holding out his hand.

"And who did I hire for Transfiguration?" he asked.

"Remus," Hermione said, looking at the floor.

"That's right," said Harry. "Don't you think it might be inappropriate to push Minerva McGonagall back to her old post, while she is not able to perform magic?"

Hermione shook her head, but said nothing.

Harry grinned. "Hermione, give it up. There is something you won't tell me. Before sleeping, you will come to me to receive your punishment and after that you will tell me what is really going on," he said with a smirk, looking intently at Hermione. He saw Hermione's eyes widening and he knew for sure that she was thinking about some naughty things.

"What happens when the undead will break into the castle?" asked Prince Charles.

"We will evacuate everyone out from the castle," answered Harry immediately.

Prince Charles looked unbelievingly.

"When they break through the doors or walls, then they are in the castle, and then it is too late," he said. "Did you look outside?"

"Yes, I did, Your Highness. We have what we call floo powder and floo travel, but you know that already, which will bring us to a secret manor, which is called the Potter's manor. From there we can travel anywhere, and the undead cannot follow us by floo. When the undead breaches the outer walls, the second phase of the shut-down of the castle will follow. Every room will become a prison, and the undead must work it self through every wall and door it meets, and that takes a long time to manage that."

"What are we going to do about those undead outside?" asked Prince Philip.

"I suggest bomb them with a nuke," said Harry with a smirk. He knew what reaction that would give, and he looked intently at the Queen, and in the corner of his eyes he was watching the commanders as well.

Prince Charles was smirking as well, but didn't say anything further. Prince Philips was looking thoughtfully, but also did not say anything else. The Queen did not react as all, as if the Queen did not hear what he said. The two commanders were shocked, that Harry could recognize on their faces, but said nothing. The only reaction came from Hermione.

"Are you out of your mind," screeched Hermione. "You can't nuke them!"

"And how are you going to remove the threat, Hermione?" asked Su.

"Well ... eh ... can't we shoot them?" she asked.

"Maybe it is better to ask where they come from?" asked Pansy.

"They are coming from a necromantic, who is summon the dead from hell, one after the other, non-stop for already many hours," answered Su.

Everyone gasped.

"Who is the ..." began Hermione.

"Voldemort," interrupted Harry.

"How do you know that?" asked Hermione surprised.

"He is the only one with enough power and knowledge to do such things," answered Harry.

"When we don't stop you-know-who, he will succeed in destroying this castle, the strongest magical building on earth, and the rest of the world will follow soon. Billions of people will die," said Su.

Hermione looked thoughtfully. "How are we going to destroy Voldemort?" she asked, looking intently at Su.

"By nuking him," answered Harry. "It is the only way."

"And what happens if the Muggles do not nuke him? Surely there are other ways?" Hermione asked.

"Oh, that is simple," said Harry calmly. "When there is no nuke, and no help of the Muggles, then we are out of here, I will organize the best hiding place on earth under a very strong fidelius charm, and I and everyone else who want to hide will be gone for ever. Without the Muggles we have serious problems to win."

"How can you say that?" cried Hermione.

The Queen stood up and cleared her throat.

Everyone looked at her and waited what she had to say.

"I believe that it is the best to look for the safety of the castle, Lord-Baron. When we have all the facts, then we can plan." The Queen sat down again and smiled at Harry.

Harry nodded.

"Why didn't you use a Solarflare spell, Harry?" Hermione asked tersely.

Harry looked surprised at Hermione.

"Did you look outside how many undead are there, Hermione?" asked Harry.

"Yes, what has that to do with the Solarflare spell?" she asked irritated.

"Su can cast that spell only one time, and she will be drained. You know that!" Harry replied hotly.

Hermione huffed.

"What is your problem, Hermione?" asked Harry irritated. "And from where are all those stupid questions coming from?"

Hermione started to cry again and Harry frowned at her.

"Why did you use dark magic, Harry?" asked Hermione.

"Harry did not know any Dark Magic, Hermione. I taught him some battle field spells, which you suspect to be Dark Magic, which they are not," said Su quickly.

"What do you mean ... not Dark Magic? You summoned skeletons, for Merlin's sake. If that is not Dark Magic ..."

Su smiled. "I tell you what the definition of Dark Magic is, because that is very easy. Dark Magic is only that magic, which is declared as Dark Magic by the Ministry, and nothing else," said Su harshly. "Battle Magic is only used by Battle Mazes and special sorcerers, not by the usual wizard or witch. For that reason it is not declared as Dark Magic. It is also almost not in use anymore, because only Dumbledore was able to use such magic."

"And why is it that you are knowledgeable in the Dark Magic?" asked Hermione stubbornly.

Su sighed. "I am knowledgeable in Battle Magic, because that is the way how I was raised. I started to train in Battle Magic when I was eleven years old," answered Su.

"Why?" Hermione asked flabbergasted.

"Because I was the only warrior in our family," answered Su calmly.

Harry stood up from his chair. "You girls continue with what ever you want, I am visiting the core of the castle and see what I can learn. I will be back as soon as possible and we will talk some more."

"Harry?" asked a voice.

Harry turned. It was Tonks.

"When you are back, I have news and we need to discuss it," she said.

"Alright," said Harry smiling warmly.

Hermione stood up as well. "I am going with you," she said stubbornly.

Harry smiled sadly. "Hermione, this is the last time, and please don't test my patience. You stay here, because I am going alone, and this is the end of the discussion."

Hermione glared at Harry, but he simply turned and left the foyer. Hermione was following him, until the door closed behind Harry's back. A small smile appeared on Hermione's face and she walked towards the door to follow Harry, until she heard someone saying

"Stupefy"

The world went dark for Hermione.

________________________________________

It was the first time that Harry saw dark hallways and corridors in the Gryffindor castle. He was in a section of the castle, he was never before. Well, that did not say much, because there were many sections, even floors he never visited before as well, but still there was a big difference.

All the other sections of the castle he had visited were sunny, bright, full with plants, paintings, small coffee corners and more of that stuff, but here there were no paintings, no plants, no chairs, only corridors without any doors. The corridors were windy, and the walls of the corridor were not finished like it was everywhere else in the castle. These were cut raw from the rock and not polished and pointed.

Harry continued to walk, the little shining bulb above his head gave him light enough to see where he was going, but the light did not reach further than about ten meters. He had been walking already for twenty minutes in this corridor, when suddenly he thought about the floo. Why was he so stupid and did not ask the elves for a floo connection into the depth of the core. How stupid was he by simply start walking towards the center of the castle at the third floor of the castle. How much more stupid could he get?

Blast, he thought, and stopped.

"Gidi," he said loudly. His voice was echoing through the corridor, and the little elf plopped into existence in front of him.

The little elf looked around her in surprise, before she focused on her master.

"Yes, Master?" she asked.

"Do you know if I am on my way to the core of the castle?" asked Harry.

The little elf looked at her master with her large eyes, then around her again and she shuddered like she was cold. Well, maybe she was cold, because it was windy here in the cold corridors.

"I don't know, Master," she said with a little voice.

"Do you know of other ways to reach the core?" asked Harry. He hoped there were other ways; otherwise he was walking for a long time.

"I don't know either, Master. In all the history of the Gryffindor castle, only three Masters did reach the core of the castle, but no elf knew about what happened and what they saw. We elves are not allowed to go near the center of the castle, but that is all what I know."

"Where is the center of the castle?" asked Harry.

"It is here, Master. You must continue to walk for about fifty meters and then I can't come to you anymore, Master," answered Gidi. Her ears were laying flat on her head and her eyes were even wider then normal.

Harry nodded and smiled warmly. "Thank you Gidi. I will continue," he said and continued walking in the direction of the center of the castle. Behind Harry, Gidi plopped away.

After ten minutes of walking, Harry reached the end of the large corridor. In front of him was a large oaken door, and it was closed of course. Harry sighed in frustration. The door did not seem to have a handle, and he had no idea how to open the door. His wand was still in his hand to empower the light bulb above his head, and he was not sure if he should blast the door open or try other things first, but what were his options? He might talk to the door, and maybe if it heard his voice and command then it would open up for him?

"Open," he said at the door, but the door did not react. He felt stupid by talking to the door.

"This is the master of the castle Gryffindor, I order you to open," he said formally.

Nothing happened and Harry huffed. He had no time for those stupid jokes, and he pushed against the door, which opened immediately. Harry looked with wide eyes at the open door and he sent the light bulb through the door, because beyond the door it was very dark. The light bulb did not show much, and Harry decided to continue his journey. He entered the room behind the door, and suddenly two things happened. First torches against the wall start burning and second the door slammed closed behind his back. Harry looked at the door for some moments as thinking to turn back, and then he looked around him. He saw burning torches everywhere, and the wind was also here. The walls of the corridors were wet and he saw little pools of water on the floor. This looked much more natural, he thought. Just like Hogwarts' dungeons, he thought. With that thought he continued to walk.

He did not have much choice, because there were no doors and no other corridors to follow, and that made his choice a bit easy. He assumed that he was in the area of the castle, which was called the core, but it did not give him anything special or additional. He had no idea what to expect, but one thing was sure, it was cold and wet. After ten minutes walking through the coldness, he reached another door, and he pushed it open. That was easy until now, and the room behind the door surprised him.

He expected to see large hallways and huge high ceiled halls, but this little room was not something he expected. The first thing he saw were the floating candle lights, books, a desk and chair and the large fireplace. It was cold in here, but not wet, and he looked up. He did not see any ceiling, but that does not mean it was not there. The flames of the candles only lightened so far. Harry paid some attention to the desk, and he saw several volumes lying on the desk. It seemed that somebody used the desk to read and just left. He grinned about that, and wondered what happened with the last owner of those books.

Harry did not want to disturb anything in the room and looked at the door. He also expected that the door would close it self behind him, but that was not happening this time. Harry decided to let it as it was, but wondered if the wetness would not destroy the books in this room. The books in a small rack above the desk looked old and ancient, and they would rot away if the damp air would touch the volumes here.

But the air tasted a bit stale, but it did not feel wet, like in the corridor where he came from. Could this room be the core? Could the castle be empowered or managed from this place? Harry looked more closely at the desk; he grabbed the heavy wooden chair and pulled it back. He sat down and looked again at the desk. The first thing he saw was the closed book, and he grabbed the cover of the book to open it, and the book turned immediately to dust after he touched it. He frowned. What the hell.

He looked up to the volumes above the desk, and he touched the backside of a red book. Where he touched the book appeared immediately a hole. Those books are so old, that they turned into dust when he touched them. He wondered when the last time somebody was here, and he studied the desk again. There lay an old fashioned quill on the desk, and touched it carefully. At least one thing which did not turn into dust, but it would do him no good, because there was no ink and what should he do with a quill?

He saw several things, which might be of interest. One of it was a small box, a book, which seemed to have another color than the rest and a wizarding photo. He touched the wizarding photo and also that turned into dust, and he sighed in frustration. Dust went flying because of his breath and Harry coughed. More dust went into the air, and one of the books above his head collapsed and dropped on the desk. Harry stood up and waited until the dust settled down, and he saw only one thing strange.

The little box did not turn into dust; it was still there, half buried under the rest of the old book. He grabbed the box and took it in his hand. It looked fairly solid to him, and he opened it. There as a ring, a plain round ring without any text or stone or anything else than a simple plain old fashioned ring.

Harry stared at the ring for a long moment, and suddenly he started to smile. He knew that it was stupid to touch the ring, because he remembered telling Ginny that it was stupid to touch the diary, but she did. According her father, it was unwise to touch anything, which had a brain. Well, he did not see any brain; it was just a plain old ring and what could happen when he tried it on? Maybe he would know every place of the castle and he could control every aspect of it? Maybe it would give him the knowledge of every ward, every weapon and every room of the castle? Maybe it would give him the possibility to look into every room and see what underwear the girls were wearing and what they were saying?

He smirked again. And maybe it would not do something like that. It could be a plain and simple ring, left behind by the last occupant of this room, the owner of these dusty books. Well, there was one way to find out and that was by putting on the ring. Harry breathed deeply and put the ring on his ring finger of his right hand.

The ring became instantly warm, and very clearly it adjusted itself on his finger. The ring was too large for his finger to begin with, but now it looked like it shrunk. Well, that is normal behavior for a magical ring, and nothing special at the moment, until he was aware of something else. The castle, he was aware of the castle, he knew things, and he smiled widely. He knew that would happen, he was now actually the real master of the castle.

He took the chair and moved it away from the desk and sat down. This ring belonged to the master of the castle ... that he understood so far. The other thing he knew was that the ring gave him instant knowledge of the castle. He knew now what this room was, it was the room behind the core of the castle, and he was amazed.

The castle was nothing else then a giant wand. It was built on the same principles as his wand, it had a magical core, and the rest was nothing else then the material, covering the wand. Stone, but not normal stone, every brick and every rock integrated in the castle had been carefully prepared. Every stone was magical, especially the stones, which were used to enforce the castle on the outside. What the core contained was unclear for him, the only thing he was aware of was that the core was magically empowered with enormous reserves ... which were ... oh shit ... almost depleted.

He was looking for ways how to recharge the core, but he could not find anything. The only thing what he knew was that he had the knowledge of every room in the castle, every corridor and every hallway. He saw the paintings and he had the feeling he could talk to the paintings like he was standing in front of such painting. He did not try, though. He was looking for something more, maybe an answer to tell him how he could recharge the castle, because he felt that it was draining it self very fast. The wards!

Now Harry understood what it meant to be in battle mode. The castle had transformed it self into a fortress on the outside. The beautiful white walls had disappeared into gray granite like stone, which was impregnable and it looked plain ugly. The entrances into the castle were gone and replaced by heavy granite walls ... thick as well, at least two meters thick!

Harry knew suddenly everything about the wards, and he realized that the current ward was activated to hold off the undead surrounding the castle, but the ward was draining the last energy of the castle. He knew that the castle could continue to deal with all the undead creatures in the world, and nothing would happen in the castle, but when the magical reserves of the castle would be exhausted, the castle would turn into one mountain of granite and stone.

Harry sighed. He was browsing for a place, which could tell him more about the core and how to recharge it. He ordered in his mind to let the ward outside to collapse, so that the wards would not eat the last reserves. He felt that they had time for the maximum of one week, and then the castle would shut down.

It was clear now that this ring belonged to the Master of this castle. It did not give it extra powers or something like that, but control of the castle as it was. He could switch on or off the wards, he could do things like opening or closing sections of the castle, but more importantly, he could see what was going on in the castle in detail.

He immediately 'felt' where the people were located, and he could see the state of the food, the cleaning materials of the elves, he saw where the elves were living and how many elves were there ... wow ... hundred fifty elves! He thought maybe hundred, but he was not aware that the elves lived in the second floor and they formed a tight closed community. Harry saw the place where the elves placed their children, and the places of the older elves, the so called pensioned elves, too old to do any work. There were five old elves currently staying in what they called the sun room. There were twenty baby elves and they were together in a play room, ad Harry smiled. He searched further in came to the next creatures ... ah ... the Muggles. The infirmary was next to the Muggle quarters and there were two people in the infirmary ... well, one human and one elf. He assumed that the elf was responsible for the medical care and he wondered if there was a doctor in the castle. Maybe the elf was the doctor?

He looked further. There it was, his foyer and his bedroom. Everyone was collected in the foyer, but the soldiers were not there. Harry looked further, and he discovered five platoons of soldiers walking through the corridor. They had collected five soldiers, which were guarding the place, which led to where once was the entrance hall, and he smirked. They were not aware that the entrance hall was filled with granite, nothing could penetrate that!
Harry was warily monitoring the outside.

He saw the undead approaching the castle and tried to climb its walls, but were not able to do that. They could not get any hold on the smooth stone. He saw another group of the undead, which were trying to claw on the wall, obviously hoping that they could destroy it with their bare hands. Well, good luck then, because if the huge Dragon was not able to destroy even a window on the castle, how could they hope to destroy anything else on the castle from the outside.

He turned his attention back to the foyer, and he saw that most of the people were standing near the windows. Probably they discovered that the ward was gone and they were watching the undead. Harry knew that it was time to return to the foyer and to talk about the things, which needed to be done. He hoped that he could have an answer about the destruction of the undead, but more importantly, how he could avoid Voldemort calling up more undead.

Suddenly he thought about the soldier, who had assaulted everyone in the foyer. What happened with him, and Harry started to search for the man. He ended up into the Muggle section; a small room where the man was sitting. He assumed that the Muggle military were using the room as prison cell. In front of the room stood two soldiers on guard and the poor soul was sitting there in his cell, feeling of course very confused? Harry suspected that one of the Dead Eaters placed the Imperious on the poor soldier.

Harry sighed. He was scanning the direct environment where he was at the moment and was searching for ways how to come back to the foyer. Maybe there were other ways as well? Then he looked at the fireplace and saw the small basket with floo powder. You see it was possible to floo directly to here? He hoped that the floo powder was still working. Harry took some floo powder and floo'd to the foyer.

"I tell you again. Resurrecting the dead is Black Magic, and everyone who is performing Black Magic is the same as Voldemort; they are dark and evil," yelled Hermione at Su. Su sighed and before she could retort, she noticed Harry standing in front of the fireplace.

"My, my, you managed to land in front of a fireplace without falling on your nose, haven't you?" teased Su with a large and relived smile on her face.

Harry smiled warmly and turned to Hermione.

"Hermione," said Harry firmly. "I am going to finish this once and for all. The way how you are changed I don't like one bit. Before yesterday, you were a nice girl, my best friend, and very understanding of all the things happening here. Since yesterday, you endangered me, and with your stupid questions you managed to irritate me and probably others as well. You are my fiancée, and you and I have certain duties which we can't avoided. But I tell you this, if you continue, you will be sent to a certain castle in Greenland and nobody will see you ever again, not even your parents."

Hermione's mouth was open in shock, and Harry grinned.

"Isn't that so, sisters Black?"

"Oh yes," answered Narcissa viciously. "It is very lonely there and there is also not one book to amuse your self with. And when our Lord decides to forget you, you will be totally isolated with an old ruin, snow and ice and a half-crazy old elf and I suspect that you will drive yourself mad in no time," she said. "I never liked you, you little know-it-all, and this proofs how irritating you can be to all of us. I personally would do something else; I would throw you over my knee and smack you ... whack your little arse until it looks red. I think that is what you deserve and nothing else."

Hermione huffed and wanted to retort to Narcissa. Her face was red and she was breathing swiftly.

"Halt, Hermione," yelled Harry, and Hermione's mouth closed abruptly.

"We don't have time for this nonsense, and if you don't shut up and act normally Hermione, you will be locked up. Do I make my self clear?"

Hermione's eyes went wide.

"Would you do that to me?" she asked with a little voice.

"Yep, immediately," answered Harry and grinned devilishly.

"I think that you turned evil, Harry," said Hermione. "That is because of all the dark magic you are using, you are becoming evil. Professor Dumbledore might be manipulative, but he had always your interest at heart, and he was wise and experienced. He said several times that using Dark Magic would infect your mind and character and turn you slowly black, dark and evil," said Hermione in her professor mode.

Harry held up a hand to stop Narcissa of reacting and continued listening at Hermione.

"Every time when you use the killing curse, a piece of your soul would turn black, because the only way how the killing curse works is by your intent, the emotion you must feel, and only then you can cast the killing curse with success. Some days ago you would not be able to cast the killing curse, Harry, but now I am not so sure anymore. It is still not too late to turn from the dark and evil, Harry; you could come back to the light and cast the Dark Magic far from you and never to be used again."

"Are you done, Hermione?" asked Harry.

"Yes, Harry. Are you going to send me away to Greenland, only because I told the truth?" she asked with a little voice.

"No, Hermione. Not when you tell me the truth, but what you said was not the truth, it was an opinion. There are no facts, which prove what the ex-professor Dumbledore claimed and there is no proof in what you are saying. "

Harry turned at Su. "Tell us about the battle magic, Su."

"Alright, Harry and Hermione, in this library I found several books about battle magic, which might be interesting for you to read. Those books only contain the history of the battle magic, not its contents, because that is secret information and only available for those, who are the wizards and witches who are trained in battle magic and are going to use it in battle, of course."

"Battle magic is a brand of magic, which was created in the year thirty seven after Christ, and it was designed to setup a group of wizards and witches, who were able to fight a battle with many opponents. In that time there were simply not enough magical people, and it was impossible to mobilize the total magical world for a fight or threat of a Dark Wizard or Witch. The people who were using the Battle Magic were called the Battle Mages, and they were able to use a whole range of spells in all kind of areas like healing, shielding, nature and what you call Dark Magic, but what the Mages called battle magic. Since eleven hundred, there was no Battle Mages, because there was no need for that,. But the actual knowledge of the battle magic was being preserved in several ways. I personally know only of one way, and that is the way of our family. I assume that there are other families who have the knowledge of the battle magic, but I am not sure."

Su looked at Hermione, who did not say anything at the moment.

"My family had trained me into the art of battle magic, and I am a specialist in it. Honestly, it is not so much knowledge, because we are talking of about eighty four spells and twenty four shields and nine healing spells. The rest of the battle magic is Muggle fighting techniques and that is all," ended Su.

"Can you tell us something about the battle magic?" asked Pansy.

Su looked at Harry, but he shook his head. "We don't have time at the moment, I want to discuss something else," he said and he turned to the Queen.

"At this moment, we have one week time before this castle will shut down completely and we will be trapped and will never be able to escape. We will all die when that is the case. We have enough food, drink and anything else for years to come, so that is no issue," said Harry.

"Why only one week before the castle shuts down?" asked the Queen.

"You can see it that the castle needs fuel, and it runs out of fuel in one week," answered Harry.

The Queen nodded and turned to her husband Prince Philip.

"You made a remark about atomic weapons before you left, Lord-Baron. There are several weapons available, which might be used against the creatures outside, but they are mostly not useful, because they would destroy us too, or they would result in poisoning the area for hundreds of years, and they would form a threat to you and your children after ten or twenty years as well. And with pregnant women here present, it could result in miscarriages and worse. There is one type of nuclear weapon though, which might work, but the negative thing about this weapon is that it will not destroy immediately, but only after several days," the Prince said from his chair.

"The weapon I have in mind is the Enhanced Radiation Bomb, which is a fission-fusion thermonuclear weapon in which the burst of neutrons generated by the fusion reaction is intentionally not absorbed inside the weapon, but allowed to escape," said the Prince.

Harry frowned.

"It's a Neutron bomb," said Hermione. She turned to the Prince. What radiation dose are you talking about, Your Highness?"

"Six Gy is normally considered too be lethal, but in reality it will only kill the half of the victims immediately, and the rest will die only after several days." answered the Prince.

"If we use a dose of eighty Gy, that it would kill everyone immediately, except that the collateral damage is enormous, like that of a conventional nuclear weapon."

"What is the damage radius, Your Highness?" asked Hermione again.

"The range of Six Gy bomb is about seven hundred meters for killing everyone instantly, and eleven hundred meters to kill after several days. The neutron flux can induce significant amounts of short-lived secondary radioactivity in the environment in the high flux region near the burst point."
