The Heritage - Chapter 63
-----
A/N: I have read for the first time my own story from the beginning till the end, and I was appalled by the way how I have written some of the conversations. I was not able to read more then chapter 40 or 41 and I gave up disgusted.

I want to apologize to my readers for this low quality of work, because I obviously write the chapters too fast without the care it deserves. Several reviewers made already remarks about the quality, but I did not realize that it was so bad.

I promise to improve and continue with this story until the end (some 100,000 words more) and to redo those dreadful chapters when I am finished.
A/N: The character of Harry Potter and his girls is going to be changed. From the shy, little growing up boy he is changing into a more powerful, pushing figure, which some of us might categorize as 'Dark'. This is a result of a poll in the Writing Center after they got enough of the whining Harry who was regularly fainting. Some of the previous chapters, this chapter and the next four or five chapters we will see the process, which will result into a changed Harry (Dark!Harry).
A/N: Scene from the last chapter.
It was not that Harry ever had seen an explosion on television, he had. Several times when he was small, he crept into the kitchen and watched from his position the television, which showed a war movie. Several times he saw that large cannons were firing on battlefields, and explosions of the grenades everywhere.

He also saw one time the explosion of an atomic weapon on television, and the mushroom like cloud was very specific, and was associated with the atomic weapon, the weapon of doom, the last defense during the cold war.

But here he was witness of something else. The explosion did not look like an explosion he witnessed on the television, it was totally different. The explosion was nothing else then a ball of fire, which expanded rapidly ... almost immediately, then it seemed to shrink ... like it was gathering momentum for the final boost, and then it exploded in all its beautiful violence.

-----

The country resembled a desert ... but then at the other side it did not. Everywhere where the group of witches and wizard looked, they saw the smoldering earth ... everywhere vague forms of molted things, which they assumed where once bodies. The heat of the muggle weapon was so high, that it melted everything and it melted even the earth ... it was covered by a glass-like substance. They walked towards the place where two bombs were impacted at the far side of the castle. They saw two huge holes of at least thirty meters wide, its surface was covered in molted glass, whining in the light of the sun.

The smell was unbelievingly. All of them smelled it; the vague smell of rotten eggs, something what they recognized clearly as phosphor and it was overwhelming their senses. The heat was still escaping from the ground, and the air could be seen simmering right above the ground. Especially at the places of impact they felt the heat of the earth.

Nobody said anything, they were deeply impressed, some of them shocked and only Pansy was the one who was grinning.

"That will teach those undead not to fuck with us," she gloated.

Harry looked at her inconceivable, but he said nothing. Hermione was huffing and her nose was high up into the air.

"What's your problem?" Pansy sneered at Hermione. "Do you think this is also Dark Magic?" while she pointed with her finger at all the carnage around them

Hermione huffed some more before she looked at Pansy. "How can you gloat about all this?" she asked. "All those undead did not deserve what happened to them."

"Oh, the next time you go out and meet them then," said Pansy sarcastically. "Maybe they do allow you to talk to them. They might become even your friends when you are lucky," said Pansy mockingly.

Hermione huffed and stick out her tongue at Pansy. Pansy did not believe what she saw and the eyebrows of Pansy went up. Then Hermione laughed secretly and looked away from Pansy with a strange smile on her face. She looked vaguely superiorly and she held up her head, and said nothing anymore. Hermione seemed to study the burned and smoldering landscape and was clearly not planning to continue having a conversation with Pansy.

"What's your game, Gryffindor?" asked Pansy intently, she was somewhat irritated by the strange behavior of the mud blood ... oh right, the Gryffindor. It didn't fit ... there was definitely something going on. She grabbed the shoulder of Hermione and forced her to look at her.

Hermione grinned impishly. "Tonight ... the stud is only for me ... Slytherin," she whispered back, the last word articulated strongly. "Your little endeavors to fuck him until now will be nothing compared what I am going to do with him. And you will stay out of my game, if you know what is good for you." Hermione's magic flared strongly around her, and died down almost immediately.

Pansy released Hermione's shoulder in surprise and looked at her with wide eyes. Both of them were standing ten meters behind the group and nobody paid them any attention so far.

Pansy narrowed her eyes. "What are you planning?"

"I want to play a little game," Hermione whispered at Pansy. "And tonight, I am going to be punished by our master." She looked threatening at Pansy. "And you won't interfere, and you won't come between me and Harry tonight, because this is my night, do you understand?" Hermione pulled her wand from her robes in one fluent movement, but did not point it at Pansy ... yet.

Pansy looked pointedly at Hermione's wand for some seconds considerately. "I want to watch," she whispered.

Hermione smirked. "Harry's invisibility cloak is in his trunk in the deep closet of his bedroom, take that before I come into the bedroom and hide," Hermione whispered with a vague smile on her face. "You may have him in the morning, but he is mine in the evening and night. You keep everyone out of the bedroom; nobody may interrupt us while I am busy with him. Do we have a deal?"

Pansy looked at her apprehensively but nodded. "Alright then, I can't say that I'm not curious."

"You will see," said Hermione smugly. "Look and watch the show," Hermione said and smirked at Pansy. Then Hermione's expression changed into outrage.

"Harry!" she screamed.

Everyone turned and looked at Hermione. Some of the girls rolled their eyes, but Harry looked at Hermione anxiously.

"What?" he answered irritated.

"How could you let so many creatures be destroyed?" shrieked Hermione, her face red of indignity. "It's so inhuman of you; don't you have any feelings left, no compassion, no feeling of right and wrong?"

Harry looked dumbstruck, while Susan and Hannah were rolling their eyes again, and Lavender huffed.

"If you don't shut your mouth, Hermione, I will force it," shrieked Su. She had obviously enough of Hermione's remarks and she was more then irritated at Hermione.

Hermione walked fast to the group of girls and halted in front of Harry. "It's about time that you listen to others then those who are attempting you to push you in the wrong direction," said Hermione, looking Harry straight in the eyes.

Su was becoming angry and her normal stoic expression on her face was twisted by anger. She pulled out her wand and pointed it at Hermione with the intention to curse the infuriating girl.

Harry held out his hand to stop Su before there could be accidents, but Hermione didn't want to listen. She grabbed Harry's hand and pulled it down, at the same moment she was erecting a shield in front of her and she was right in time, because Su's sparkling purple spell hit her shield. She spell impacted on the shield and bounced back at Su, who could avoid her returning spell only at the last moment.

Hermione smirked and fired silently a spell back at Su. Su looked in shock at the black simmering spell, traveling in slow motion towards Su, and she conjured a large stone in the path of the spell. The stone was enveloped by blackness and disappeared in a puff of a dark cloud.

Harry had enough of the infighting of his girls and moved between Su and Hermione. He felt the residue of Hermione's black spell and he looked briefly strange at Hermione, before he focused on the problems at hand.

"This is enough," he bellowed strongly. "Both of you girls back of from each other, and you don't curse each other anymore. And Hermione, you shut up and keep your remarks with you, and Su don't curse one of us."

He looked intently at Su, then at Hermione.

"Who says so?" asked Hermione, looking insolently at Harry.

"I say so," said Harry with a low voice. "When you don't listen to me, you will feel my wrath."

Hermione huffed, but Su looked feeling better. "Get her, Harry," she said menacingly.

"Shut up, Su," hissed Harry and focused at Hermione.

"Well?" he said, waiting for Hermione's answer.

Hermione dropped her gaze and shook her shoulders slightly.

"Alright ... Master," she said in a small voice.

"Sorry?" asked Harry incredibly. "What did you say, Hermione?"

"Nothing, Harry. I want to talk to you," she said meekly. "... tonight ... please?"

Harry looked at her unbelievingly, but nodded her head.

"Alright, after all the fuss is gone ... tonight," he said unsure what exactly had happened here and still not believing what Hermione said. He had the feeling that he was being manipulated and he could not help to glance strangely at Hermione.

Su was not differently, and she was looking shocked at Hermione.

"That was a dark spell," she said staggered.

Hermione huffed and walked away from Su towards the smirking figure of Pansy.

All girls were glaring at Hermione now, except for Luna, who was examining Hermione with a knowing smile on her face. Hermione stared at Luna not to tell or ask anything, and Luna's face brightened with a smile. "I say nothing," she said and turned at Pansy. "Pansy?" she asked.

Pansy glared at Luna, then broke down laughing.

Now everyone looked at Pansy and Luna. Luna had an angel-like expression on her face, which looked perfectly innocent for everyone who did not know her very well, and there were not many girls who knew her that close ... except for Ginny.

Ginny walked at Pansy and grabbed her arm tightly. "I want to have a piece of the cake," she murmured. "What's up?"

Pansy looked unbelievingly at Ginny, then at Luna.

"Aaaaahhhrch," she shrieked. "You all are mad." She untangled her arm from Ginny's grip and walked huffing away.

Harry had no idea what game was played here, but what could he do? Hermione was acting very strange lately, and he did not understand why she was acting like a bitch. He understood Su, but what had Pansy to do with the whole thing? And what was Luna's role in the whole thing? He knew for sure that Hermione was up to something, and he hoped that it was not something bad. What would happen when Hermione would suddenly grow a specific perception about the whole thing, and how could they live together in the castle when Hermione would not be able to keep her remarks with her?

They had no choice then to accept the magical law about arranged marriages, if they liked it or not. There was no way to change it, and when Hermione would go berserk about those things all the time, then who was he to be able to change her mind? How could anything or anyone change the mind of Hermione, the most obstinate, mulish and stubborn person he ever had known? And why was Hermione suddenly questioning all his actions, and she would even query his actions in the middle of a battle with the dragon!

Harry turned to the castle and he saw the Princes walking towards them. In the background he could see the many elves working on cleaning the outside of the castle and banishing the thousands of bodies of the undead. Since Harry activated the wards around the castle after the FAE's finished burning, the undead were thrown from the castle walls and burned immediately. The wards of the castle extended till hundred meters around the castle, and that was enough to destroy the last remaining undead.

The activation of the wards around the castle seriously reduced the magical reserves of the castle, and he felt that the castle had enough reserves for two or thee days through his ring. Harry felt sad, because he knew that they were forced to abandon the castle before that time.

In the mean time the two princes were looking anxiously around them, they were clearly impressed by the damage the ground around the castle had taken because of the FAE's.

"I like to know more about the magic and what you call 'dark magic'," he said, looking uneasily at Harry.

Harry looked at Su, then turned back at Prince Philip.

"Alright, Your Highness," he said. "Let's go back to the castle and ask Su for a detailed overview of the Battle Magic," he said. "What do you think, Su?"

Su nodded. "That is an excellent idea," she said smiling slightly. She was still upset with Hermione and her strange behavior of late.

-----

"Blossoming Death is a dead spell, and a very powerful one that is. Casting it causes a large ball of pure Death Energy that can be charged for several seconds. The longer the charge, the larger the sphere grows. Once it is shot, it will explode once it hits any piece of living organic tissue, creating a blast of Death Energy that will cause anything living caught in the blast to explode in a gory display of pure violence, "Su said in a flat voice.

What is the incarnation?" asked Pansy almost greedily.

"Proventus casus," answered Su in her flat voice. "The wand movements are like this," she said and she showed them the wand movements.

"That is so disgusting," said Hermione in the background.

"Why are we teaching those disgusting dark magic, I become sick only listening to this nonsense.

"It is not Dark Magic, Hermione. "How many times did we discuss this?"

"Several times, "Hermione snapped. "But don't tell me that this is Light Magic?"

"No, it is not Light Magic, and neither it's Dark Magic," said Su.

"Well, Hermione," dragged Pansy. "I think that you talk with double standards. You are telling us to use only Light Magic, but you forget that Light Magic is not a branch of magic, but a classification, which is created artificially by the Ministry because of political motivations. You are a witch, governed by the laws of magic, and you have the gift to perform magic. In order for you to perform magic, you need to study it. Studying magic is a too general term; you need to study a branch of magic. "

"Oh yes, and where is the Dark Magic coming into the picture?" Hermione snapped hotly.

"Dark Magic, as you know it is all part of our branch of magic, "Su answered.

"We are here to study another branch of magic, which is called Battle Magic. This Battle Magic is performed by a certain group of magical persons, and we are here to study it. That is all," finished Su.

"Harry, say something," said Hermione, tears in her eyes.

Harry looked thoughtfully at Hermione.

"Do you think, Hermione, that Magical people are superior to Muggles?" asked Harry.

"What has that to do with Dark Magic?" answered Hermione hotly.

"Answer the question, Hermione."

"No, of course not," answered Hermione more calmly. Prince Charles snorted in his corner, while the Queen was following the conversation with interest.

"Do you think that using magic in battle situations is more powerful then using the muggle weapons?" Harry asked.

"Yes, of course," answered Hermione.

"Well, you saw the Muggle artillery in action, Hermione," began Harry.

"So? What's your point?" snapped Hermione.

"I wish that I knew a spell, which could do that," answered Harry.

Hermione was quiet for some seconds and looked at Harry thoughtfully.

"There is no spell, that can do the same," said Harry and he stood up and looked at Su and the girls. "If I would be evil, and do the same things as Voldemort, I would cause terror to the magical people, attack defenseless muggles and murder them in the most terrible ways, I still need my wand and my presence. I still need to walk somewhere, and be present while I am destroying all the people I meet. "

Harry paused and looked intently at everyone present.

"There is also another way to annihilate. I could take such a handy communication device as the Prince has, it works always when it is near magical sources or not, and I simply order destruction at any point in England, and within minutes everything burns and is destroyed. I don't need to come out of bed, I can still watch television or amuse my wives and fiancées, and I simply order to burn anything and everything. When breakfast time would come, I, my wives and fiancées would be the only ones alive in England."

Nobody said a word.

"The means I use are mass-weapons of destruction, and I can compare it with what you call Dark Magic," Harry said. "When I will be Minister of Magic, and I want to be honest, I will combine muggle- and magical weapons; I will declare that weapons of mass destruction as forbidden, and that means a weapon like FAE's, nuclear, biological, and chemical and radiation weapons, magic like the Necromancy, magic, which causes direct death to creatures, magic, which is clearly intended to do evil things ... they will be all illegal and declared as Dark."

"For example the 'Corpse Dance' spell. It raises a corpse of my choice as an undead zombie slave, and I can order it do anything I like. That is Dark Magic? Well, according the Ministry of Magic, who produces the classification, it is not Dark Magic, because they did not mention it, and they don't know about this spell. It's a classified spell in the Battle Magic, and in this way by definition is not Dark Magic. What I could do is terrible ... according your point of view, it is tasteless, it is disgusting, dirty and it borders at insanity to use something like that ... again ... according your point of view. But calling artillery to destroy a target on the ground is not terrible, because it is clean, you don't see anything then only a beautiful cloud of destruction, it is not tasteless, not disgusting, and not dirty and it does not border at insanity, it is clean and so it is comparable with Light Magic, right?"

Hermione opened her mouth to speak.

"Wrong!" yelled Harry, "It is morally wrong to do that, both actions leads to destruction, I use magic to perform evil, I use artillery to perform evil, the results are the same, but the means are different."

Hermione closed her mouth.

"Using magic means using the forces of nature. Using artillery means using technology, that is the only difference," Harry ended his monologue.

Nobody spoke.

"Voldemort is still out there, "Harry continued. "The existence of the undead is enough proof of that. If the Queen, Princes and the soldiers were not here, and they could not interfere, we would have all been killed or we would have been forced to leave the castle. The army of undead would only grow and it would turn its destruction to all wizards' centers in England, and later turn to the Muggle population centers.

The simply fact that an evil wizard like Voldemort exists, proofs that the magical world has some serious problems, and the longer that monster exists, the more likely it is that the magical world will be exposed to anything, specifically the Muggle populations, and when that is the case, we will have a global holocaust ... billions of people might die, and the Magical world will be guaranteed stop existing.

For me it means that we need to finds ways to stop Voldemort with all means, and if that means using this disgusting magic, I will use it without any problems. The Ministry of Magic is not in the position to be included in the fight and their opinion about certain types of magic is not of any issue for me."

"You want to say that we ... Muggles ... are superior compared with wizards?" asked Prince Philip flabbergasted.

"No, Your Highness, you and we are not superior from each other," Harry said with a sad smile. "We are all subjects of the Crown."

The sound of laughter of the Queen spread through the foyer, and everyone was shocked by her reaction.

"That is the best I heard since I came here," she said Queen strongly. "Lord-Baron, I like you, and I like your fiancées."

She waited several seconds like looking for words. "I refuse to see the girls, who are slaves here, to be treated as slaves, and in my opinion they are nothing else then your fiancées. "

She looked at the girls, and turned at Harry. She was in the mean time standing and walked slowly in the direction of Harry, keeping her eyes on him and a slight smirk on her face.

"I think that the Magical World is terribly old fashioned," she said with a crystal clear and penetrating voice, still approaching Harry. "My words are at least an understatement, and they must be seen as exactly that. The Magical World, as it was created by some of the magical people in it are revolving around certain layers in the magical society, exactly as we had seen in history, more then a thousand years ago with Arthur Pendragon and Matter of Britain, Dux Bellorum, the Romans, and many other peoples in those times. Later came the church in the quotation, and it became even worse."

Now she had reached Harry and she stood straight in front of him, looking him straight into the eyes ... they were very close together, their tip of their noses almost touched each other. Harry did not pull back, and the Queen looked intently in his eyes. She continued to speak in clear voice.

"I believe that we are standing on a junction in time, where we must make hard choices to do what is right. If we make a mistake, and we chose the wrong direction, the people in the future, it there is a future, will see this choice as the one, which led the human race into massacre and suffering for the first hundreds ... or maybe thousands of years to come," the Queen said calmly.

"The latest demonstration of magic proved to me that what you call evil, the figure with the name Voldemort, is able to get the dead from hell and turn it against the living on earth." She Queen looked fixedly in the eyes of Harry and turned her sight towards the girls and her husband and son.

"In my opinion, the world as we know, is going to be changed, whether we like it or not. If we go back to our palace, and wish the Lord-Baron and his fiancées well, we will be attacked by the most gruesome creatures imaginable. If we don't turn away, and we merge our abilities, then the most gruesome creatures imaginable will appear anyhow, we would, at least, be in the position to do something about it."

The Queen looked at her husband briefly and smiled weakly.

"I think it is about time that we organize the world ... that is ... the muggle world," she said, looking apologizing at Harry and the girls. "I want that the magical world will be exposed to all the governments under my influence," she announced at the shocked people in front of her.

"There is a law, which makes it punishable to expose the Magical World to the Muggles, Your Majesty," said Hermione. "When we expose our world, we will be severely punished."

The Queen smiled sweetly at Hermione.

"Ms. Granger, I admire your play, but you can't fool me," she said. Hermione looked shocked at the Queen, and flustered. She broke her gaze at the Queen and looked clearly uncomfortable and studied her shoes.

"The smile of the Queen turned into a grin.

"Who says that you or any other magical being are exposing anything?" she asked with a clear and penetrating voice. "Do you really think that the magic is going to punish me? The Royal House was aware of the existence of the magical world for hundreds of years, as you probably know, and that was done by a treaty. We, as the Royal House, have the right to know the existence of it, and we decide to do something about the treaty coming from the magical world, which might destroy everything, including what you know about the magic. "

She looked at Harry again and smiled.

"I hope you know something about the Monarchy, Lord-Baron, because I am letting you marry my granddaughter and introduce you into the royal world. " She smirked and looked mischievously at an uneasy Harry.

"And if you don't mind, we are going to let you marry your fiancées in a grand style, a dream come true for many girls, for that I am sure," she said and glanced briefly at the girls. Some of them were giggling, Marietta Edgecombe was already swooning and Petunia Greengrass was jumping on her chair.

The Queen looked questionable at Harry.

Harry saw the reaction of the girls as well, and sighed. "I don't mind," he breathed.

-----

Harry sat on his bed. He was still flustered at the words of the Queen, and he had no idea what kind of impact that would have on his life and the life of his fiancées, slaves and wives. He was not feeling bad about it, but the feeling of the unsure future brought the weary feeling of unease in the bottom of his stomach.

The door opened of his bedroom opened and Hermione entered. She closed the door behind her, took out her wand and cast several spells on the door. The door glowed bluish and Harry assumed that Hermione was casting locking charms.

Then Hermione turned towards Harry ... Harry's jaw dropped open ... he was shocked beyond believe ... what Hermione was wearing was ... unbelievingly.

She was wearing a tight uniform of a ... maid? Harry's eyes almost bulged out of his sockets; his saliva started creeping out of the corners of his open mouth. The sight of Hermione in that uniform was too much for him. He felt so baffled that he was not aware of two shadows creeping closer at the end of the bedroom, stretching their bodies to their extend to see what was going on, and the wide smirk on the face of Hermione, who was very much aware what was going on.

Hermione wore a tight black very short skirt, which did not cover more then her hips, white stockings with thin black lines and flowering markings and high heeled black shoes. Above her tight mini skirt, she wore a white blouse, which accentuated her full breasts, which she had expanded magically to give Harry a good view of her 'bits'. She charmed her nipples to be erected, and she had her hair done with the help of Luna; it was held tight against her head and the rest of her hair bound in a tight dot against the back of her head.

She charmed large round glasses to complete the innocent sight she was presenting to Harry, and looking at his reaction it was more then succeeding and she could not help to smirk. The effect was much better then she had anticipated, because the poor Harry was having problems with breathing.

Hermione could hear the chocked laughter behind her and she realized that Pansy had invited some ... uninvited guests and lifted one eyebrow. She swore that she would have a serious conversation with her after all of this would be over with, and somebody is going to suffer for it. In the mean time she would play her role and see what Harry, the stud, had to offer to her. This was something she had always dreamed about, the secret sensual dream she had when she was thirteen years old. Many times when she was sitting in the common room at Hogwarts she looked at Ron and Harry and imagined that she would come down the steps in this uniform and anticipating their reactions. The reality was much better then she thought, though.

Slowly and sensually she walked towards Harry with heaving and swinging hips and slow long steps, looking him straight into the eyes, her mouth was half open and licking her lips.

Harry gulped, looking wide eyed at the approaching Hermione, totally focused at the forthcoming girl, everything forgotten, not believing his eyes.

Hermione stopped in front of Harry and looked at her feet slyly, her hands intertwined in front of her lap and slowly she moved her shoulders to the left and right.

"I'm a bad girl," she said timidly.

Harry looked incredulously at Hermione, like he didn't understand what she had said.

"I'm a very bad girl," she said timorously again, still not looking up from her shoes, like she expected something to hear from Harry.

Harry looked at her in bewilderment and mystification.

"What?" he asked.

"I want that you punish me," she said in a high girly voice, still looking at her shoes.

"Punish you?" Harry asked bewildered.

"Yes, punish me," she whispered seductively. She looked up at him submissively, lightly blushing. "I was a very naughty girl ... the last days," she whispered. "I was impudent and rude, and I deserve to be punished for what I did."

She looked again at her shoes and waited for his reaction. In the back of the bedroom Hermione heard some muffled sounds, and she hoped that Harry did not hear them as well. He obviously did not hear, because he was still staring at her like she grew a second head, and quickly she dropped her gaze again. Her submissive behavior was clearly a mystery for him, and Harry did not understand what was happening in front of him. Now the fun will start, thought Hermione.
