Simone
These are my notes so far:
The first step to love and sex is attraction. But how does it start? There are three ways attraction begins, visual perception, olfaction, and audition. So in other words, we attracted to one another by sight, smell, and sound. But not everyone is attracted the same thing. Attraction is a funny. It makes us all blind to different people. Two people could start out hating each other but then, they end other in each other's beds. This blind trap can also lead to death and destruction. Attraction can drive its prey into madness. But do we as human beings really care? No, we don't. We humans just blindly go through the phase of attraction and pursue the cycle of love with are future mate. That is what makes attraction a funny thing. People have different attractions. Some love the same race. Others love the opposite race. But most humans don't see color too much. They see the looks and charm of the person. Once the two races are together in love, things blend perfectly. Now if it turns out happy or not, depends on how the relationship plays out. Many people object to the two races being together but they stay together anyway, just to prove that they can make it work. Interpersonal attraction is the attraction between people which leads to friendships and romantic relationships. In a colloquial sense, interpersonal attraction is related to how much we like, love, dislike, or hate someone. Interpersonal attraction can be thought of as a force acting between two people tending to draw them together, and resisting their separation. According to a personality psychologists' view, interpersonal attraction is a person's qualities that tend to attract by appealing to another person's desires. When measuring interpersonal attraction, one must refer to the qualities of the attracted as well as the qualities of the attractor to achieve predictive accuracy. The study of interpersonal attraction is a major area of study in social psychology. They suggest that to determine attraction, personality and situation must be taken into account. Repulsion is also a factor in the process of interpersonal attraction, one's conception of "attraction" to another can vary from extreme attraction to extreme repulsion. Pleasure. It is the key in sexual intercourse. Otherwise, humans wouldn't do it so much. Sex used to be seen as a way of survival or something dirty. But years ago, someone showed humankind the desirable and steamy side of mankind. Now, the human race is one the most oversexed creatures on the planet. But only because of pleasure in it. Where does sexual pleasure come from? The obvious answer is from the brain. But, to get the full answer, one has to dig deeper. Pleasure is a positive sensation. It tells us during a sexual experience nine times out of ten, "We are going to enjoy this!" The limbic system of our brains plays a powerful role in sexual arousal. Arousal acts like a narcotic drug to us all. It like to a heavy production of dopamine, the chemical that delivers pleasure to the brain. So in a sense, sex and love are drugs. Without sex for a long time, people tend to go crazy. Their fantasies get the best of them so much that they can't focus on day-to-day tasks. They eye the opposite sex as if they hadn't eaten in weeks. Masturbation becomes compulsive. The hunger just keeps growing until it is met again. But, what happens when this sexual need is not met? Some can survive without it, but most can't. How long before a person goes crazy without sex? Days, hours, minutes, seconds? Who really knows? Some can go without sex. Others can't. It all depends on the person and the situation. Everyone needs sex at least once in their lifetime. It is the universal law. Human were put on the Earth to reproduce. But what happens when that need is not met? In a normal appetite, hunger stops when the craving is met. Then, people can go on with life. But what if that hunger never goes away? Its victim is driven to consume more and more. But, where is the limit? There isn't any in an addict. They feast and feast until their cravings and want more. The results are gluttony, destruction, and in many cases, death. Sex has always been made beautiful and tantalizing. But like everything else, it has an ugly side. Diseases, unwanted pregnancies, broken relationships, and shame to the individual. So why do humans still adore sex? Maybe it's because they choose to ignore its ugly side. Maybe it is because they need sex. But whatever the reason, sex is still around. Ecstasy is an intense feeling of happiness. It is another key to sex. The emotion is there from arousal to climax. Ecstasy in sex is a powerful feeling. It used be that sex was just for procreation. But then, someone showed mankind the pleasure and ecstasy of sex. Now, humans have sex just for the pleasure of it. Thus starting the flood of sexual excess for humankind. Dancing, love, and sex all have seemed together throughout history. A woman dances to attract a mate. Her body seems to send messages to the man saying that she is available for him to sleep with. Each step and move have to be perfect or else the mate loses interest in the hunter. In Arabic cultures, dancers were used to entertain the king. Today, dancing is still used to attract a mate. Salsa, belly, and pole are the dances of choice. Human sexually has been around for ages. It has been celebrated and frowned upon. It knows no real boundaries. Nine times out of ten, it is controlled by impulse. Sexually knows no race or gender. It only knows people. It seems to be the best thing in most of the human race's eyes. But like everything else, there is a dark side to it. Diseases, hate, unwanted bastard children, broken relationships. But still, human sexually is pursued like a desired dream. Passion and desire are close relatives of each other. It drives human beings to do the unthinkable. Passion is even related to obsession at times. The feeling is one of the key elements with pleasure needed for sex. Passion is the fire in relationships and goals. But like fire, passion is extinguished over time. But passion and fire can always be refueled. Affection is an emotion that derives from the recognition of one's own values in the character of another. It is popularly used to denote a feeling or type of loving, amounting to more than goodwill or friendship. By ethical writers the word has been used generally of distinct states of feeling, both lasting and spasmodic; some contrast it with passion as being free from the distinctively sensual element. More specifically the word has been restricted to emotional states which are in relation to persons. In the former sense, it is the Greek pathos, and as such it appears in the writings of French philosopher Rene Descartes, Dutch philosopher Baruch Spinoza and most of the writings of early British ethicists. On various grounds, however, e.g. that it does not involve anxiety or excitement, that it is comparatively inert and compatible with the entire absence of the sensuous element, it is generally and usefully distinguished from passion. In this narrower sense the word has played a great part in ethical systems, which have spoken of the social or parental affections as in some sense a part of moral obligation. For a consideration of these and similar problems, which depend ultimately on the degree in which the affections are regarded as voluntary, see H. Sidgwick, Methods of Ethics pp. 345-349. Numerous behaviors are used by people to express affection. Communication professor Kory Floyd of Arizona State University is the leading contemporary scholar on the behavioral displays of affection used in personal relationships. His theories suggest that affectionate behavior evolved from parental nurturing behavior due to its associations with hormonal rewards. Floyd's research has verified that expressions of affection, although commonly evaluated positively, can be considered negative if they pose implied threats to one's well being. Floyd has also demonstrated that affectionate behavior in positively valenced relationships is associated with numerous health benefits.
The game of courtship between male and female has been for years. It dates back to the Garden of Eden. Courtship has a purpose. It is to help all species to reproduce. There are many ways to attract a mate. Some are painful. Others are powerful. But once attracted, the game of courtship begins. The results can be success or failure. But no matter the result, it all depends on how the game is played. Courtship, traditionally the wooing of a female by a male, includes activities such as dating (dinner and a movie, a picnic, or general "hanging out"), along with other forms of activity, such as meeting online (also known as virtual dating), chatting on-line, sending text messages or picture messages, conversing over the phone, writing each other letters, and sending each other flowers, songs, and gifts. Sex, love, and relationships are like chess. There are usually two players in the beginning. The pieces in chess symbolize the elements in a relationship. Each player moves a piece across the board, moving things one day at a time. When a piece is taken, the lovers sacrifice something from their lives to make it work. When it is checkmate, it is the climate at the end of sex or the highest point in a relationship. Then, the game starts again. Sometimes with the same players, other times with different players. Depends on what comes next. Meat injection, screwing, lovemaking, sleeping together, banging, f*g, doing it. They all mean the same thing. They all are slang for sex. It is strange that one simple action has so many words to name it. How is it even possible? Well to answer that, we must look at the history of words. Most of the slang listed in the first sentence came from the sixties. How do love affairs start? One's love life seems dead and they look for another. They meet, become close, and fall in love. Or at least that's the standard way of love affairs. Some love affairs are against the public and God's eyes. Others are accidents. Love affairs may be sweet and tender in a fairy tale. But in reality, a small amount of them only survive. Most end in tragedy. But, young couples still take the risk in order to say, "That won't be us!" A relationship is a connection of some kind between two things. Typical forms of relationship are interpersonal relationships between two people, cause-effect relationships between two events, mathematical relations and systemic relationships between two parts of a system. Various terms built upon the basic concept of relationship are used in different fields.
In the movie, Pink Floyd the Wall, Gerald Scarfe drew two flowers. One shaped like a man and the other shaped like a woman. They lightly caress each other at first. As the music goes on, the flowers make love and fight afterwards. In the end, the female bites the man's head off and flies away. Even though the scene is short, it speaks a story as old as time. Male and woman fall in love, sleep together, fight, and the woman nine times out of ten ends up winning over the man. But only after the man attacks her first... Men seem more oversexed than women. That used to be the case in the old days. But today, women are just as oversexed as men are. They just want to get more of their senses involved into the action. Society used frown upon women getting in touch with their sexually. Some still do. Others have stopped caring and accepted this change just like all others like it. What does one give to the one person they love for a gift? Flowers are a basic gift. So are chocolate and jewelry. Some go the extra mile and get them sexy underwear or seduce them into bed with them. All of them are great. What makes all of these gifts better is the loved one's positive reaction to them. Can a woman still be sexy after having children? That depends on a few things. First of all, it depends on how she keeps her figure. If she looks just as good as she was before she was pregnant, there is a high chance of attraction. Plus, her man still has to be interested in her. Finally, the woman still has to believe in herself as a vixen. If all three of these are met, then the answer is yes, she still can be sexy after having children. What exactly is "fair game" in the love world? How does one become "fair game" as it is put? Most characterize "fair game" as young and single. Others try to go for "taken property." A few try to go for more than one date. Age is another factor to consider in the world of sex and love. The standard age for dating is thirteen to thirty-nine. Sometimes, it's older. Sometimes, it's younger. Attraction is the main part of the game. But whatever the playing field is, nine times out of ten, the people are willing to play. Women use different methods of attracting dates. They are like Barbie dolls in the public. They come with many accessories. Make-up, stockings, jewelry, hair decorations, sweet-pretties, tight revealing clothes, glamorous shoes, lacy sensual underwear, the right parts, the charm and personality, and everything else in between. Women use these accessories and use them well. Why do men give flowers to women? It is said to be a token of love. Most women are happy to see these roses. But are they really happy with getting flowers? Or do they act just to keep their men happy? Some women what more than flowers from men. Some to a post-modern woman, flowers are just dull and clichéd. They want so much more than just a dozen roses. But, it's up to the men to figure out what! Society has said that women should not enjoy sex and they should see it as a way of producing children. They wanted women to be pure and innocent. Even doctors looked down upon womanly pleasure and said that wives when supposed to be frigid in bed. But, women are red-blooded human beings. They have desires and pleasure just like men. Most women today enjoy sex just as much as men do. Sometimes a little bit more. How do some women become sex symbols? Is it in there teen years? Puberty hits and a girl's body grows. The boys notice it and stared. Some of the female species realize this and use their bodies to get what they want. Or is it in early girl years? The toy Barbie shows girls into this fantasy world of what a woman is suppose to be. Or is it early adult years? The women are out of school and have to make it in the real world. So they turn to sexual favors at times to get ahead. But whenever the time, that beauty fades away over time. Women have been the wicked for years. They have been cast as witches, demons, temptresses, and servants of Satan. Helen started the Trojan War. Eve brought the fall of mankind. Most of the witches of the Salem Witch Trials were women. But why are women always the villain? Could it be because men feel inferior to their counterpart? Maybe they need women to survive and keep their blood lines going. Or possibly they are slaves to their hormones and the women are more than happy to give in because they know they have the power in the end. In some cultures, the women are seen as bad. They are usually cast as weak, stupid, desperate, evil, and oversexed. In fact, women are denied their natural rights to feel sexual pleasure with any men they truly desire. They are supposed to be innocent and fringed. Even in America during World War II the victory girls were looked down upon. Throughout history, women are seen as the enemy. But, are the women really the enemy or is it just some sort of a propaganda created by men just to belittle their counterparts because of fear they are superior to them? Men tend to forget that women have desires as well. Women are just as oversexed as men at times. Some even like porn. The only difference is that women want to get more of their senses into the action. They want to do more than look at sex. Women want to feel sex. Women want to taste sex. They went to be part of the act. That is the difference between desires of men and women.
Sex is a powerful weapon. It can be used to persuasive the opposite sex to do certain deeds they normally wouldn't do. Sex is used as a motivation as well. It can drive humans to their best or worst. It all depends on the situation at hand. Sex can also be used as a trap. Blackmail is often sex's first choice as a trap. The predator uses blackmail in order to trap its victim in bed with them. The escapade can go now until the predator gets bored with its prey or the prey finally gets strong and tells the truth to a higher power. What all is sex used for? It was used for reproduction. But like everything else, people have found more uses for it. Pleasure, entertainment, business, torture, remedy. You name it; sex has been used for that reason. But, how can something so potentially deadly, be so useful at the same time? It depends on the situation and person. One of my schoolmates said to me, sex is the action where all emotions are felt. I guess he was right. Sex seems to channel different emotional to other people. Love, lust, and passion are the most common. Sometimes anger is felt during sex. And at times, sorrow is felt. But whatever one feels at the time, sex is a powerful way to deliver it in.
Guilt is a powerful beast that haunts us all. It serves as a panic button to the unconscious. But the tick is if one feels the guilt or not. This plague called guilt never really goes away. It lingers on and keeps growing. We can face it or ignore it. We often pretend it doesn't exist. But what good does that ever do? That only makes the guilt even more painful than it was in the beginning. Our conscience just keeps hitting the guilty panic button until we fix the button. But can we really hear it? Our is it just like our alarm clocks in the morning where we just hit the snooze button and go back to sleep? How strong is guilt? Through out literature history, it is deadlier than any weapon known to man. Guilt drove Lady Macbeth to madness and suicide in Shakespeare's Macbeth. It drove the narrator of Poe's Tell-Tale Heart to confession. People eventually crack under the pressure of guilt. But not always. Guilt appears when we least expect it. We might be in a grand mood, but then the beast hits us fast and hard. Once it comes to us, the monster doesn't leave. It stays with us until we do something about it. The creature is usually a small one. But as we try to ignore it, the monster keeps growing and growing. What can we do to stop it and keep a strong grip on our sanity? Traditional Japanese society and Ancient Greek society are sometimes said to be "shame-based" rather than "guilt-based" in that the social consequences of "getting caught" are seen as more important than the individual feelings or experiences of the agent. This may lead to more of a focus on etiquette than ethics as understood in Western civilization. This leads some to question why then we would adapt the word ethos from Ancient Greek when their norms are so different from ours. Guilt can sometimes be remedied by punishment, by forgiveness, or by sincere remorse. Guilt can also be remedied through cognition, the understanding that the source of the guilty feelings was illogical or irrelevant. Law does not usually accept the agent's self-punishment, but some ancient codes did so: in Athens the accused was permitted to propose his or her own remedy, which might in fact be a reward, while the accuser proposed another, and the jury chose between. This forced the accused to effectively bet on his support in the community - as Socrates did when he proposed "room and board in the town hall" as his fate. He lost, and drank hemlock, a poison, as advised by his accuser.
The prostitute. Her profession is as old as time. Most of the time, she is frowned upon by society. The church is her main enemy. However, the prostitute plays an important role in civilization. She has been a stress reliever for many powerful men in the Eastern world. She has been present in court ceremonies. Like order itself, the prostitute won't go away. The church says prostitution is the work of the devil. So that must mean that all prostitutes are evil. But what about the ones that didn't have a choice when they first started? What about that ones that were kidnapped and sold? What about the ones who were abused and ran away from home who ended up turning to a pimp because of the illusion of security? What about the ones who are in major debt and see this as a way to make ends make? Would the church consider them evil too? Prostitution was part of daily life in ancient Greece. It was not common to see brothels in cities like Athens and Sparta. The Greeks were a sexually liberated civilization back then. Men and women were prostitutes. The prostitute even played a scared role in the temples of gods and goddesses. Aphrodite's temple in Corinth housed many of these many in the night. In 464 BCE a man named Xenophon, a citizen of Corinth who was an acclaimed runner and winner of pentathlon at the Olympic Games, dedicated one hundred young girls to the temple of the goddess as a sign of thanksgiving. Pseudo-Demosthenes in the 4th century BCE even said, "We have courtesans for pleasure, concubines to provide for our daily needs, and our spouses to give us legitimate children and to be the faithful guardians of our homes." (Against Neaera, 122) Despite the sexual free spirit of the Greeks, the punishment for adultery and rape were death. In the epic of Gilgamesh, the title character was in engaged in battle with his rival, Enkidu. During this fight, Gilgamesh realizes that the flesh is mightier than the sword. So, the hero hires a prostitute to tame the wild man. Enkidu accepts the sensual woman and they copulate for seven nights and six days. In that time, the harlot tames the wild man and he becomes civilized. Sex had soothed the savage beast. Prostitution is a dangerous job. The abusive pimps aren't the only problem. Some of the whore's clients are killers out for the blood. When a female takes up prostitution, she is putting her life at risk. But the client and the pimp aren't only predators. Some men have crazy wives that are out for revenge. Some priests will kill a hooker for the "purpose of God." Or maybe, the lady of the night herself is a cold-hearted killer... In the late eighteen hundreds, Jack the Ripper went on a rampage of killing prostitutes. He would usually kill them in a public or semi-public place; the victim's throat was cut, after which the body was mutilated. Some believe that the victims were first strangled in order to silence them and to explain the lack of reported blood at the crime scenes. The removal of internal organs from some victims has led to the proposal that the killer possessed anatomical or surgical knowledge or skill. On November 15, Kimberly Logan, a black prostitute from the Lyell Avenue area, was discovered dead beneath a pile of leaves in someone's yard. She'd been battered and kicked in the abdomen. Oddly, the medical examiner found leaves stuffed down her throat. While she had not been found near the Gorge or its general locales, her file was added to the growing pile of other unsolved murders of the area's women of the night. The woman, who had been preserved somewhat by the cold weather and the covering, lay facedown. Spots on her skin suggested decomposition, so she had been killed earlier, by as much as two or three weeks, but that would be for Nick Forbes to tell them. A considerable amount of blood had settled into her back, which meant that she had been lying on her back after death for a period of time, and now here she was on her face. Someone had come and turned her over. Her position suggested that she'd been anally penetrated after death. She'd also been strangled, but that wasn't all. When they turned her over, they saw that some time after she had died, she'd been cut from the top of the chest between her breasts all the way into the vaginal area, like a gutted deer. Upon close inspection, it looked as if the vaginal lips had been removed. This killer had returned for some perverted pleasure. Yet the analysis at the morgue indicated that there was no semen in or on the body. In the weeds, the techs found a knife and a bloody towel, but there would be no fingerprints. As usual, there was very little physical evidence. Serial killers are not uncommon in California, and investigators working the prostitute murders were all too familiar with the names: William Bonin, Leonard Lake, Charles Ng, and the infamous Zodiac. They were also aware that a serial killer has an unquenchable thirst for murder and that the only way to end his murderous cycle would be get him off the streets. According to The Riverside Killer by Christine Keers, a task force was quickly formed and headed by Riverside Police Chief Linford L. Richardson, Sheriff's Lt. Al Hearn, Captain Bill Reynolds, Lt. William H. Caldwell, and Sheriff Cois Byrd among others. Under their supervision were 14 detectives, the largest enforcement effort ever assembled in the county.Apparently aware of the efforts police officials were taking to find him, the killer either stopped killing or found another dumping ground, which remains undiscovered to this day. Regardless, by 1989, two years since his last known murder, the killer struck again. On January 27, 1989, the body of 37-year-old Linda Mae Ruiz, a known prostitute, was discovered on the beach of Lake Elsinore. The victim's head was buried in the sand and an autopsy later revealed large quantities of alcohol in the blood. Sand was found in the victim's throat and cause of death was listed as acute asphyxiation. In ancient Greece, hetaerae were courtesans, that is to say, sophisticated companions and prostitutes. In ancient Greek society, hetaerae were independent and sometimes influential women who were required to wear distinctive dresses and had to pay taxes. Composed mostly of ex-slaves and foreigners, these courtesans were renowned for their achievements in dance and music, as well as for their physical talents. There is evidence that, unlike most other women in Greek society at the time, hetaerae were educated. It is remarkable that hetaerae not only were the only females who would actively take part in the symposiums, but also that their opinions and beliefs were respected by men. Religious prostitution is the practice of having sex with a person other than one's spouse for a religious purpose. A woman engaged in such practices is sometimes called a temple prostitute or hierodule, though modern connotations of the term prostitute cause interpretations of these phrases to be highly misleading. The temple prostitute plays a great role in religious ceremonies. A call girl or escort is a sex worker who, unlike a street walker, is not visible to the general public. Nor does she usually belong to an institution like a brothel. One must summon her, usually by calling a telephone number-hence the name call girl. Often, call girls advertise their services in small ads in magazines, and more recently through the internet, although an intermediary advertiser such as an escort agency may be involved in promoting higher class escorts. The lower class side of escorts may be handled by a pimp or a pander. Call girls can work either incall, where the client comes to them, or outcall, where they come to the client. Call girls are commonly perceived to be elite amongst prostitutes, far more skilled, able to pick and choose amongst their potential clients and therefore demand higher prices for their services, and are more attractive, educated, well-groomed and youthful than street prostitutes. An escort service will not take on any woman that is unattractive, has a visible drug problem, such as needle marks from injecting drugs, or who presents an overly negative personality. Escort services seek to establish a reputation for offering desirable women and know that their customers only give them one chance. If an escort service sends an undesirable woman to a client, the client will very likely not use that service again. Also, many escort agencies do criminal background checks on applicants to weed out those that have been arrested for street prostitution or other types of crimes. This weeding out is done to reduce the chances of being accused of procuring prostitution, trying not to draw the attention of law enforcement agencies. For these reasons, there is rarely any cross-over between call girls and street prostitutes.
In Greek mythology, Artemis is the goddess of the moon and hunt. She is also a proud virgin. She protected girls who fought to keep their virginity and punished those who don't. Artemis also punishes the men who force themselves on innocent virgins as well. The goddess respected the girls who gave themselves only to their husbands at marriage however. But that was it. She is an icon to the feminists. But, what if Artemis let down her guard for a gorgeous man that was down on his luck with love that she fell head over heels for? That would change the whole myth altogether. Every culture has a god or goddess of love and sex. The Greeks had Aphrodite and Eros. The Romans had Venus and Cupid. There have been countless deities of love. They are usually portrayed as beautiful and lusty beings. They have seduced many humans. They have all turned to them for a mate. Some of the stories ended happily. Others have not.
There are three pieces of entertain that are high-selling in the world, anime, music, and porn. Porn is an addictive piece of literature. It can enhance a dry sexual situation or save someone from going insane from a no-sex situation. But, pornography has a dark side. It has been known to tear families and relationships apart and ruin lives. The church and conservatives went porn to be banned altogether. But in reality, it all depends on tolerance towards the erotica. Some can take it, others cannot. It all depends on the person. According to Irons and Schneider, the signs of porn or any other addiction are the following:
1. Recurrent failure to resist impulses to engage in a specified behavior
2. Increasing sense of tension immediately prior to initiating the behavior
3. Pleasure or relief at the time of engaging in the behavior
4. At least five of the following:
a. Frequent preoccupation with the behavior or with activity that is preparatory to the behavior
b. Frequent engaging in the behavior to a greater extent or over a longer period than intended
c. Repeated efforts to reduce, control, or stop the behavior
d. A great deal of time spent in activities necessary for the behavior, engaging in the behavior, or recovering from its effects
e. Frequent engaging in the behavior when expected to fulfill occupational, academic, domestic or social obligations
f. Important social, occupational, or recreational activities given up or reduced because of the behavior
g. Continuation of the behavior despite knowledge of having a persistent or recurrent social, financial, psychological, or physical problem that is caused or exacerbated by the behavior
h. Tolerance: need to increase the intensity or frequency of the behavior in order to achieve the desired effect, or diminished effect with continued behavior of the same intensity
i. Restlessness or irritability if unable to engage in the behavior
5. Some symptoms of the disturbance have persisted for at least one month, or have occurred repeatedly over a longer period of time
The case that I visited with Dr. Howard shook me to my core. Porn is like water; too much and it could kill someone. It destroys anything it touches. The problem is that people get too wrapped up in it. Porn will cause relationship to fall apart, jobs to be lost, and lives driven to complete ruin. One should be careful about how they deal with porn. The cure is sometimes worse than the disease. It all depends on how the battle is fought. Addiction is one of the most misunderstood illnesses. Sex addiction is one of the most types of illnesses that is misunderstood. The one question one must ask themselves is, "Am I controlling it or is it controlling me?" Most of the time, the addict doesn't see that their disease is controlling them. And when they do see it, it is too late. But it doesn't always have to be that way... The road to a negative addiction has only one path, downwards. The more the victim indulges in their vice, the faster they fall to the bottom. Things get uglier and uglier as the journey continues. Pretty soon, the addict is alone, jobless, and shunned out of society. And sex addicts are no exception to the rule. Withdrawal by definition is a physical illness and discomfort that accompany the withdrawal of an addictive. Withdrawal can apply to anything. Drugs, alcohol, porn, shopping, and sex are a few on the list. Withdrawal is an ugly site to see. Sweat, hallucinations, hunger to the point of madness, nausea, chills. This is the result of a withdrawal. The end result is madness beyond belief. It is all an ugly site to behold. There is a thin line between love and madness. It is called obsession. An obsession is an unwanted reoccurring thought in a person mind. It is one half of Obsession-Compulsive Disorder. Obsession can take form into anything. Drugs, money, and other simple hobbies come become obsessions. The most dangerous thing an obsession can take form into is people. The obsesser will do anything in their power to have the obsessed all to themselves. They even aren't above murder... A nymphomaniac is a woman who whose behavior deviates from what is acceptable especially in sexual behavior. She wants to have sex with any men that cross her path. Many call her a slut. But, it's only because she is a hypersexual. Hypersexuality replaces the concept of nymphomania. But, the word is still used today. Nymphomania was believed to be a psychological disorder characterized by an overactive libido and an obsession with sex. The threshold for what constitutes hypersexuality is subject to debate, and critics question whether a standardized diagnostic threshold even exists. Sex drive varies widely in humans, and what one person would consider a "normal" sex drive might be considered excessive by some and low by others. The consensus among those who consider this a disorder is that the threshold is met when the behavior causes distress or impaired social functioning. Hypersexuality may also be expressed in those with bipolar disorder during periods of mania. It is something not often openly discussed, but it can cause a great strain on relationships and marriages. What is it like to be a slave to your hormones? You'd be wanting sex all of the time. Your cravings are limitless. Everything you touch is destroyed. You end up driving everyone away. Sex seems to get boring to you after a while. Pregnancy and illness are a constant threat. But, the hunger is the worst. It tears at your soul mercilessly. It's like a beast demanding food every second it lives and breathes. It is always either feed your desire or go insane. This is what it is like to be a slave to your hormones. Sexual frustration is the condition in which one is in a state of agitation, stress or anxiety due to prolonged sexual inactivity and/or sexual dissatisfaction that leads them to want more sex or better sex, or a state in which they are sexually aroused but unable to act on the feeling. The term does not define whether they desire is normal or abnormally high; it simply means that their arousal is not being met by activity and therefore they are experiencing tension as a result. It is sometimes used to imply that a person has an overactive sex drive, although more often it implies simply an uncomfortably low level of sexual activity, or some arousing stimulation that is causing frustration. Lack of sexual activity is not the only cause of sexual frustration; the condition may also be caused by a lack of a desired activity, such as acting out fantasies or trying new positions. In many cases, sexual frustration leads to compulsive masturbation. An addiction is a recurring compulsion by an individual to engage in some specific activity. The term is often reserved for drug addictions but it is sometimes applied to other compulsions, such as problem gambling, pornography, and compulsive overeating. Factors that have been suggested as causes of addiction include genetic, biological/pharmacological and social factors.
Addiction is like a disease. Like most diseases, it is curable. It just takes support, an urge to quit, and the right kind of therapy. Therapy is the attempted remediation of a health problem, usually following a diagnosis. There are many times of therapy. Some are physical and others are physiological. These notes will focus on both. Psychotherapy is an interpersonal, relational intervention used by trained psychotherapists to aid clients in problems of living. This usually includes increasing individual sense of well-being and reducing subjective discomforting experience. Psychotherapists employ a range of techniques based on experiential relationship building, dialogue, communication and behavior change and that are designed to improve the mental health of a client or patient, or to improve group relationships such as in a family.
The night brings passion, lust, and desire. It is a time when the city really comes to life. Business and entertainment is really active at this time. Harlots come out to place at this happy period. Crime and vice are busy with their business as usual. Creatures of the night roam the streets looking for a mate to take home with them for sex. The night is the best time for romance between couples, young and old. It is also perfect for secret love affairs. But like a spicy dream to the lusty lover, the night disappears when morning comes to fulfill its typical duties. The rain is usually portrayed as depressing and brings everybody down. But, it can sometimes add a little romance to the atmosphere. A couple can stay in bed all day until the rain stops. New love can form in the stormy weather. Come to think of it, the rain is just like love, sex, and relationships in general in life. They all have a common balance in them. What is the heat of the moment? It means the immediacy and aliveness of being very involved in something. The heat of the moment can imply to many things. Sex, arguments, work, just to name a few. The heat of the moment varies in times. Sometimes it can last for hours. Sometimes it lasts for a few seconds. But however long it lasts, most people end up regard what they have done in the heat of the moment.
Desire is an illness. It consumes the mind and enslaves the soul. The illness bleeds its victim dry of morals and integrity. It sucks the life out of the innocent. It's victims are slaves to it. Once desire sinks its claws into its prey, it doesn't let go. It drinks everything it touches dry. When one looks in the mirror, they see nothing. Their souls are gone. All that is left is an empty vessel. They belong to this disease called desire. The one thing that hunger and desire have in common is that thing never go away. They just keep getting worse and worse until they are met. And just when you think that your cravings are met, they instantly come back for more. It's just an endless cycle that stays with us until we die. Lead us not into temptation. That is what the Lord's Prayer says. We are to avoid temptation like the plague. It sounds easy. But, what if temptation finds us? What if it follows to no end? What do we do then? Do we keep running away and fighting. What is temptation? It is an act that looks appealing to an individual. It is usually used to describe acts with negative connotations and as such, tends to lead a person to regret such actions, for various reasons: legal, social, psychological, health, economic, etc. Temptation also describes the coaxing or inducing a person into committing such an act, by manipulation or otherwise of curiosity, desire or fear of loss. But is temptation really all that bad? It could be used as a necessary evil to test our self-control in life. The trick is resisting it. But that's not always easy to do. Temptation is the bait for wrong-doing. It comes in the form of something we all like. We slowly walk to it just to get a better look. Once it grabs us, our temptation starts to take over our minds and souls. It leads us down dark and cold paths. The more we give in, the more it controls our minds. Escape is really hard by then. It would take a mighty force to pull us out again. What happens when hunger is uncontrollable? The victim is driven next to insane. They crave more and more. Satisfying the endless and growing hunger is the only thing on their mind. Desperation follows suit. Soon the ever-present hunger destroys everything it touches. The victim is soon left in ruin, driven insane, and in some cases, close to death. Hunger is a powerful force. It is deadly when out of control. Lead us not into temptation. In the bible, only Jesus resisted perfectly. But most of us fall into it. Some can resist for quite a while. However, it catches all of us at a weak moment and takes over. What can we do after it takes us? Sit back and watch the damage unfold? Or do we stand up and fight? The outcome is always the same two: Defeat or victory.
Next to lust and wrath, pride is the worst sin of all. It can destroy love in a heartbeat. Too much pride can destroy the bonds that hold human relationships together. If a person lives by pride alone, they will suffer from lack of love in their lives. Pride will starve us all in the end. The bible may be strict on when sex is acceptable. But there is one book dedicated to the joy of love and sex. Song of Solomon tells the story about King Solomon and his love for his special woman. He compares her body to the most beautiful things during that time period. The woman in return sings praises about him to her friends and family. They sings about how their lovemaking is so sweet. That is the only book that looks at the beauty of love and sex. In the Bible, Tamar was the daughter-in-law of Judah. She was married to his, eldest son, Er, (Gen. 38:6). After her husband's death, Tamar was married to Onan, his brother (8). On his death, Judah promised to her that his third son, Shelah, would become her husband. When this promise was not fulfilled, Tamar disguised herself as a temple prostitute and offered herself to her father-in-law Judah. She claimed his staff, signet and cloak as pledge of payment. From this union, Tamar became pregnant. When Judah accused her of fornication, she produced the staff and signet and identified Judah himself as the father. Tamar had twin sons, Zarah and Pharez (Gen. 38:30). Tamar enabled Judah to have children of non-Canaanite lineage.
The tongue is a powerful muscle in the human body. It brings out speech and helps with eating. Without it, we couldn't taste or speak at all. It is stronger than any weapon known to man. This mighty muscle is a sexual one as well. The tongue delivers hours of oral pleasure to men and women. Whether it is through a kiss or a stimulation of the genitals, the tongue never fails to deliver. The result of the mate receiving the pleasure may be positive or negative. No matter the outcome, the tongue still delivers a powerful force in the world of love. This is what makes it one of the most powerful muscles in the body. Erotic asphyxiation is the practice of intentionally reducing the amount of oxygen to the brain during sexual stimulation in order to heighten the received pleasure from orgasm. In other words, choking oneself to get more pleasure during sex. This is a lethal practice. Many have died from lack of oxygen. It is said that Michael Hutchence died from autoerotic asphyxiation. In the Japanese film, In the Realm of the Senses, erotic asphyxiation played a central role. Many have been discouraged from this deadly practice. But still, some of the brave try it to make the ride even better. Couples find many ways to spice up their sex life. They use many sex toys; engage in different types of foreplay, change positions once in a while, and everything else in the sexual nature. Some even include other people into the bedroom. But no matter the outcome, the results are always the same. But that's not the point. The trip to the "island in the sky" is the best part of the erotic world. How many sexual positions are there? Well, it is hard to answer that question in particular. The missionary, the woman lies back and spreads her legs, is the most common. There is also doggie style; the woman gets on her hands and knees while the guy shags her from the back. Sometimes, the woman is on top. The couples will even stand up and do it. But no matter what the position, the deed is still the same. Humans can take an ordinary object and turn it into a sexual toy. Cooking spoons become spanking tools. Chocolate, whipped cream, and caramel become tasty body paint. Whips and rope are used as well. Even fruit becomes a sex object. But, how do these normal everyday objects turn into naughty play toys? It all is in the imagination. Vibrators are vibrating devices intended to stimulate the nerves of the body. Vibrators intended for sexual use are often dildo-shaped, although they also come in a wide range of shapes and sizes, allowing internal as well as external use. Vibrators usually measure twelve to eighteen centimeters (five to seven inches) in length and two to five centimeters (one to two inches) wide to mimic the size of an actual penis. Vibrators to be used for anal stimulation are typically smaller. Women use these little toys for sexual pleasure. But sometimes, they can get them in trouble. What is rough sex? It is sex where the partners bite, scratch, hit, kick, choke, name-call, and do any other act of violence on each other while having sex. It could be used during foreplay. It can enhance the sex itself. Rough sex is part of a fetish. S&M uses plenty of rough sex in its ritual. Some men like it; others do not. It all depends on the preference. A cock ring or cockring is a ring that is placed around a man's penis, usually at the base, primarily to slow the leakage of blood from the erect penile tissue, thus maintaining erection for longer. Cock rings can be worn around just the penis or penis and scrotum, or just the scrotum alone, though this is usually designated as a testicle cuff. Rings can be made of a variety of different materials; most commonly leather, rubber, or silicone, though nylon and metal are also used either as the main component or part of the closure. Why is fruit sexy? There are many answers. Sometimes, fruit is in the shape of certain female parts. Or maybe one can come up with many naughty uses for the fruit. Cherries, apples, and strawberries seem to be at the top of the sexy fruit list. So why is fruit so sexy? It is all in the imagination.
Fever is usually portrayed as something negative with sickness and death. But once in a while, fever is associated with passion. Madonna, Otis Blackwell, and other artists have used fever to describe a romantic and sexual feeling. These people have made fever actually sound sexy. Fever by the artists' definition is intense nervous excitement. Maybe that explains the random sexual feelings humans have for each other. Kiss and tell. One has sex or make out with their partner and then brag about it to their friends. Simple, right? Not so much! There are complications to this simple method. The factors are company, details, and consequences. Company involves who is going to tell others and who isn't. Details include what one chooses to put in and leave out. Finally, consequences depend on how bad the other two factors are. Most of the time, it all turns into a horrible mess! Lust is any intense desire or craving for self gratification. Lust can mean strictly sexual lust, although it is also common to speak of a "lust for life", "lust for blood (bloodlust for short)", or a "lust for power" or other goals. Lust is key tool in sex. It is pretty helpful, but yet it can eat people alive without warning and take over are minds. Lust is the wisteria in the garden of love so to speak. Limerence is and emotional state in which a person feels an intense romantic desire for another person. Limerence can often be what is meant when one expresses "having a crush" on someone else although limerence, unlike a crush, can last months, years or even a lifetime. It is characterized by intrusive thinking and pronounced sensitivity to external events that reflect the disposition of the limerent object towards the individual. It can be experienced as intense joy or as extreme despair, depending on whether or not the feelings are reciprocated. While the use of the word has not gained widespread acceptance, nor can it be found in most current dictionaries, limerence theory is nevertheless used in psychological studies dealing with romantic love and is frequently discussed by those interested in Tennov's work. The art of seduction is a well-crafted one. It takes the right words, the right movements, the right tone, the right timing, and everything else in between. Appearance is the first step to seduction. One has to at least look decent to charm the one they want. Then, they have to use the right movements to keep their attention. Next comes the right words and tone to seal the deal. If all goes well, then it's a great night in bed! A kiss is the touching with the lips. The scientific name for kissing is osculation. Anthropologists have not reached a consensus as to whether kissing is a learned or an instinctive behavior. It may be related to grooming behavior also seen between other animals, or arising as a result of mothers premasticating food for their children. Kissing allows prospective mates to smell and taste each other's pheromones for biological compatibility. Women are subconsciously more attracted to men whose major histocompatibility complex portion of their genome is different than her own, leading to offspring with resistance to a greater number of diseases, and thus having a better chance of survival. This explains why couples are more likely to bond if they have the right "chemistry". Many primates also exhibit kissing behavior.
The role of the virgin has been an important one. They have been offered as cures and sacrifices to different cultures. Jesus was born from a young virgin girl. Humans are all born virgins. It seems to be a special thing to be a virgin. They are seen as a safe house to the nervous or a quest for those want to be the first to touch the pure white grail. But once that virginity is gone, the virgins just become ordinary people. Their value drops tremendously. Former virgins just live life just like the unclean. So, is it worth losing one's virginity so quickly? The virgin is praised and mocked. They are special because they are pure. Athena, Artemis, and Hestia were praised virgins. Artemis and Diana guarded and protected faithful virgins from harm. It the maidens were raped, she punished the men severely. Many chase after virgins for different reasons. Money, love, power, religion. In the Qur'an, if a man is rightness, virgins in Heaven are his reward. No matter the reason, virgin are a high item. That is until they loose their virginity.
What is it to be a friend with benefits? Well, one just sleeps with someone with no commitments and no one gets hurt. But, what if one of the people in this relationship grows emotionally attached to their sexy friend? That's when problems really arise. So the question lies, is it better to be friends with benefits or in a real relationship? From time to time, friendships sometimes become love. It's a tricky thing. Sometimes the relationship works and sometimes it doesn't. Whether it does or not, depends on the level of maturity and commitment. If both are strong, the new relationship will last. But if maturity and commitment are both weak, the friendship-love is doomed to fail. But the friends-turned-lovers still try it anyway. Casual sex refers to sexual activity outside the context of a romantic relationship, consisting of a range of informal sexual encounters. A hookup is casual sex activity that could consist of manual stimulation, oral sex, or sexual intercourse. An extended hookup sometimes refers to prolonged instances of casual sex interactions. This is a situation in which the involved parties occasionally meet for casual sex multiple times, always without a long-term commitment. This is a casual relationship specifically for sex and without commitment. Friends with benefits seem to be a good idea. No real commitments, just sex. But what happens when one falls in love with that friend and the other person doesn't feel the same way? It leads to sexual frustration, sour times, and unrequited love. But not always. Some relationships blossom from f**k buddies. It all depends on the person's intention throughout the bond. The problem with fair game is where the boundaries lie. The limits can be hard to see at times. Sometimes they are next to invisible. Others times, they are as clear as day and people tend to ignore them at times. The object of our affection is worth crossing boundaries at first. But when the lines are crossed, things become ugly at times.
As Renton said in the classic movie, Trainspotting, "We are all heterosexual by default." And that is true. All humans are born straight. However, some of us become gay or lesbian. But how do some of us become homosexual? Some say it is genetics. Others say it is nature. Well, whatever the cause, homosexuality is just as old as time. It is embraced and hated. It is just how they are. Sexuality when broken down is just like race. It all depends on whom you fall in love with. What is the whole gay experience? It is where two straight people of the same gender have sex with each other. This usually occurs when both are drunk, bored, curious, or in an orgy. Most regret ever doing it. Some secretly enjoy it and pretend not to. A few enjoy it and try to have more whenever they can. But no matter the result, everyone will have a gay experience at least once in their lives. Homosexuality is both praised and shamed. But the question is, does one choose to be homosexual or is it nature? Some say its choice. Others say its nature. There is no real answer to that question. It all depends on the person. Some choose to be gay and others it just happens that way. Either way, one can't control how they feel about what they like.
Sex and scandal have been friends for a long time. They seem to follow each around like children to an adult. Nine times out of ten in the professional world, sex will lead to scandal, depending on the situation. Usually, sex and scandal end up ruining everything. But only to the ones that get caught... How does a scandal start? It starts with something small and forbidden. Then, the small thing gets bigger and bigger. Then, the gossip comes in. Soon, the gossip gets blown out of proportion. Many people get hurt along the way. Lives are destroyed. Careers are taken away. Money is completely wasted. Everything goes down this drain called scandal. Scandal starts with gossip. Gossip consists of casual or idle talk of any sort, sometimes (but not always) slanderous and/or devoted to discussing others. Sure, it is harmless at first. But when gossip is placed in the wrong hands, ears, and mouth, it is a deadly and soul-crushing thing! The results of gossip aren't pretty either. Lives and careers are destroyed, money is lost, and everyone loses. Gossip is a dangerous thing to touch. In England, a dirty weekend is when a couple disappear somewhere for a few days and shag. They assume names such as Mr. and Mrs. Smith. But when it is all over, they return and pretend like nothing ever happened. That is what a dirty weekend is. They are like swinger parties. Most couples do it, young and old. But, nobody talks about it... A bar is one of the most common places to pick out a date. Different people parade in alone and leave with someone. Or least that is what usually happens. Some aren't so lucky and leave alone. But, interesting things happen while people are in the bar. But afterwards is the most interesting of them all!
What does a predator look like? Media has portrayed them as looking dark and scary looking. But in reality, the predator can look just like everyone else. People can't be too careful around each other. The enemy could be the most beautiful person that one has ever seen. But, beauty is only a trap. How can we really tell what the enemy looks like? Dressed in black? Razor sharp claws? Strong lecherous behavior? Or could the enemy look innocent and have a heart of gold at first? Who can really tell? But once the enemy is behind the fort, it's too late to react.
Masturbation has been around for ages. It is a way of self-pleasure. This act is a cure for sexual frustration. The concept seems pretty easy too. For men, they just have to stroke themselves until they come. For women, they stick their fingers inside and rub until they come. So, how can such a simple thing be so shameful and embarrassing? It all depends on who is looking at the act. A nocturnal emission, or commonly a wet dream, is an ejaculation of semen experienced during sleep. It is also called an involuntary orgasm or simply an orgasm during sleep. They occur mostly in the teenage and early adult years. How do these come about? Usually, it comes from an erotic dream. The dreamer dreams about having sex in any situation and masturbate. Both genders have these sexy dreams. But, females are much cleaner about it in bed because they do not have a penis to inject sperm onto the sheets. Wet dreams may or may not be accompanied by erotic dreams, and also the emission may happen without erection. It is possible to wake up during, or to simply sleep through, the ejaculation in what is sometimes called a "sex dream". Women can also experience orgasms in their sleep. The frequency of nocturnal emissions is highly variable. Some men have experienced large numbers of nocturnal emissions as teenagers, while some men have never experienced one. 83 percent of men in the United States will eventually experience nocturnal emissions at some time in their lives. Surveys in non-western countries where masturbation is culturally suppressed show 98 percent or more of the men eventually experience nocturnal emissions. For males that have experienced nocturnal emissions the mean frequency ranges from 0.36 times per week for single 15 year old males to 0.18 times per week for 40 year old single males. For married males the mean ranges from 0.23 times per week for 19 year old married males to 0.15 times per week for 50 year old married males.
Infidelity is literally a breach of faith. This term is used mostly in the love world. To break it down in clear terms, infidelity means to be cheating on one's mate or spouse. Adultery falls under this category as well. The whole concept is an ugly one. Infidelity destroys trust and tears relationships apart. Once that trust is gone, it is hard to build it back up again. Is it wrong to fall in love with a comatose patient's spouse? The spouse is lonely and misses their love touching and holding them in the long nights. Then, the right person comes along and sweeps them off of their feet so to speak. But, the spouse is still married to patient. So in a sense it is adultery. But what if the patient dies from their coma? It all depends on the end result. Media always has fun with drama scene. But is it all really tragic in the end? Is it wrong for a person to take a younger lover? Their age does not seem to have the touch anymore. Maybe they are curious. Perhaps it's out of revenge from being cheated on. Or maybe it is to help them feel young again. Or, they just love them for them. But whatever the justification, it is a risk to take a younger lover. One's job, reputation, ties, and life are all gambled with the relationship. So, is it really worth the risk to take up a younger lover? Throughout the world and history, adultery is a heinous crime. It kills many marriages. If a couple was caught in the act, they were tortured and killed. Sometimes, adultery was worse for the woman than it was for the woman. In the bible, adultery was a property crime against the man. The cheating couple was stoned to death. Adultery is wrong in society's eyes. It is one of the Ten Commandments. Even though the punishments are less now, adultery is still wrong. Denial is a defense mechanism in which a person is faced with a fact that is too painful to accept and rejects it instead, insisting that it is not true despite what may be overwhelming evidence. The subject may deny the reality of the unpleasant fact altogether, admit the fact but deny its seriousness or admit both the fact and seriousness but deny responsibility. The concept of denial is particularly important to the study of addiction. Historically, adultery has been subject to severe sanctions, including the death penalty, and has been grounds for divorce under fault-based divorce laws. In some places, the method of punishment for adultery is stoning to death. In the original Napoleonic Code, a man could ask to be divorced from his wife if she committed adultery, but the philandery of the husband was not a sufficient motive for divorce unless he had kept his concubine in the family home. In some jurisdictions, including Korea, Taiwan and Mexico, adultery is illegal. In the United States, laws vary from state to state. For example, in Pennsylvania, adultery is technically punishable by 2 years of imprisonment or 18 months of treatment for insanity, while in Michigan the Court of Appeals, the state's second-highest court, ruled that a little-known provision of state criminal law means that adultery carries a potential life sentence. In Maryland, adultery is punishable by a fine of ten dollars. That being said, such statutes are typically considered blue laws and are rarely, if ever, enforced. In the U.S. Military, adultery is a court-martialable offense only if it had been "to the prejudice of good order and discipline" or "of a nature to bring discredit upon the armed forces". This law has been applied to cases where both partners were members of the military, particularly where one was in command of the other or one partner and the other's spouse. The enforceability of criminal sanctions for adultery is questionable in light of Supreme Court decisions since 1965 relating to privacy and sexual intimacy, and particularly in light of /Lawrence v. Texas/, which protected the right of privacy for consenting adults. The truth seems to be so easy. It could be save everyone the trouble and money. So mess could be spared. So why do human beings lie? Why do they even bother? Pride? Fear? Shame? Whatever the reason, lying only seems to make things worse than they already are. How much damage can lying do? First, lying is completely painless. But as the lies grow bigger, the holes in the wall of love start to leak. Pretty soon, the lies are the only thing that comes out of the lover's mouth. The guilt and lies begin to take their toll on everything it touches. There are many ways the lies end. The truth finally breaks out like a wild beam of light. By then, the damage is too great beyond repair. The relationship can be dead altogether or it can still be mended. But if the couple chooses to turn things around for the better, the results will take a long time due to the fragile trust that is rebuilt.
There are many slang words for a loose woman. They have been called whores, sluts, harlots, hookers, tarts, skanks, and the list goes on. They are usually seen as easy and willing to give themselves to any men. Prudes and society look down upon them. The church condemns them as well. Everyone sees they loose women as evil. But in reality, they are just as promiscuous as the loose men are. So why are women chastised and men are praised? It's all in the view of how society is brought up. A prude is a person who is uncomfortable about sex, nudity, drugs, alcohol, and other vices. They tend to be modest to a fault. Some prudes force their belief of purity on others with an iron fist. The prude is widely looked down upon. They seem to be the wet blanket to the sexual party. Media has done a good job of airing this to the public. Prude also means someone who hasn't done it yet! A siren is a woman regarded as seductive and beautiful. In Greek mythology the sirens were sea deities who lived on an island called Sirenum scopuli. In some different traditions they are placed on Cape Pelorum, others in the island of Anthemusa, and still others in the Sirenusian islands near Paestum, or in Capreae. All locations were described to be surrounded by cliffs and rocks. Seamen who sailed near were decoyed with the Sirens' enchanting music to shipwreck on the rocky coast, and the Sirens devoured them. MILF stands for Mother I'd Like to F**k. Men and teenage boys have fantasies about sleeping with an attractive looking mother. Married or single, it does not matter. If the mother has the looks and the body, the men will lust after her like wolves to veal. Some mothers even believe that they are the sexiest thing on the planet. They sometimes go out to party and flirt with different men. Some mothers love to live the high life! A few like to pretend that they don't have children. That is okay from time to time. But, the mother has to remember that she has kids at home or else they'll be taken away from her. A vixen is an attractive woman. She is like a siren. The word vixen originally just meant a female fox. Foxes have been seen as sexy creatures. In anime, the fox is portrayed as a sexual animal that no one can resist. So in a sense, fox are like women. The acronym MILF first came into being with the 1999 movie, American Pie. Very few mothers have this title. It all depends on how the men perceive the mother. Some make the MILF list, others don't. But, should a mother be judged by men on hot she is? Is it harmless fun or demeaning to women everywhere?
Being barren is the worst thing for anybody. It means that you can't have children. The sex can also be lousy. Barren by definition is not producing or incapable of producing offspring; sterile. Being barren is like a desert. Your heritage can't go on anymore. But there is an upside. One doesn't always stay barren for long. Miracles can happen. Parthenogenesis describes the growth and development of an embryo or seed without fertilization by a male. Parthenogenesis occurs naturally in some species, including lower plants, invertebrates, and vertebrates. It is sometimes also used to describe reproduction modes in hermaphroditic species which can self-fertilize. In religious belief, a Virgin Birth is a miraculous birth of a child to a woman who is a virgin. Although there were some prior beliefs about virgin birth, the concept is best known from Christianity. In that faith, the Virgin Birth is the theological doctrine which asserts that Jesus was conceived in the womb of his mother, the Virgin Mary, without the participation of a human father. It is a key doctrine of the Christian faith, and is also held by Muslims (Qur'an 3.47).The belief is formulated by the Apostle's Creed - a confession of faith shared by many Christian denominations - as follows: "I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary..."
Gamma-hydroxybutyric acid, or GHB, is a therapeutic drug, an illegal drug, and a naturally occurring substance found in the central nervous system, wine, beef, small citrus fruits and almost all other living creatures in small amounts. It has been used as a date rape drug. The drug has been referred to in the media as a date rape drug, much in the same way as alcohol and Rohypnol. It is often claimed that when mixed in a drink it may be difficult to detect. However, some recreational GHB users have disagreed with that claim, pointing out that "GHB is, in fact, quite salty. When mixed in a drink, it ruins the drink (like dumping bicarb in a drink)." GHB prodrugs such as GBL or 1, 4-B tend to have a strong solvent smell and taste, somewhat reminiscent of glue or petrol, and similarly would give a characteristic smell and taste to a spiked drink. Nevertheless, GHB has been used in cases of drug-related sexual assault, usually when the victim is already intoxicated with alcohol and is unlikely to notice a strange taste to their drink.
In the 1993 Nirvana song, "Heart-Shaped Box," one line goes; "Meat-eating orchids forgive no one just yet." It was said that the lead singer of Nirvana, Kurt Cobain, had a fascination with the female body just like American social critic, Camille Paglia. Both compared parts of the female body, the genitals in particular, to flowers. In Paglia's book, Sexual Personae, female genitals are wounds. Many artists have got with this theory. Blake, Huysmans, and Williams have all compared the vagina to sick and diseased flowers. But are they really like that? A woman's womb has been described as many things. Nirvana's late Kurt Cobain described it as a heart-shaped box in their 1993 hit, "Heart-Shaped Box." There have been many poems celebrating the woman's womb. But why? Why are there so many poems celebrating this part of the woman's body? Is that life begins in the womb? That is what it seems to be. The poems celebrate life and the woman's womb.
A love triangle refers to a romantic relationship involving three people. While it can refer to two people independently romantically linked with a third, it usually implies that each of the three people has some kind of relationship to the other two. The relationships can be friendships, romantic, familial (often siblings), or even pre-existing hatred between rivals. Addition of bisexual or homosexual characters adds many possible combinations of sexes, and of romantic and sexual interactions. The term "love triangle" almost always implies that the arrangement is unsuitable to one or more of the people involved. A similar arrangement that is agreed upon by all parties is sometimes called polyamory, although polyamory usually implies sexual relations. Within the context of monogamy, love triangles are inherently unstable. Unrequited love and jealousy are common themes in love triangles. Though rare, love triangles have been known to lead to murder or suicide committed by the rejected lover in real life. Love triangles are an extremely popular theme in entertainment, especially romantic fiction, including opera, romance novels, soap operas, romantic comedies, Japanese comics and popular music. A common love triangle is one in which the hero or heroine is torn between two suitors of radically contrasting personalities; one of a "girl next door" or "nice guy" type, and the other as a physically attractive but potentially dangerous person. Alternatively, the hero or heroine has a choice between a seemingly perfect lover and an imperfect but endearing person. In this case, the "too-good-to-be-true" person is often revealed to have a significant flaw, such as hidden insensitivity or lecherousness, causing the other person to become the more desirable partner.
STIs, also referred to as sexually transmissible diseases, STDs, venereal diseases, VD, or infrequently, social disease, are diseases or infections that have a significant probability of transmission between humans by means of sexual contact, vaginal intercourse, oral sex, or anal sex. Some of the STIs can be also transmitted through birth, IV needles, or breastfeeding. A sexually transmitted disease is an illness caused by an infectious pathogen that has a significant probability of transmission between humans by means of sexual contact, including vaginal intercourse, oral sex, and anal sex. Increasingly, the term sexually transmitted infection is used, as it has a broader range of meaning; a person may be infected, and may potentially infect others, without showing signs of disease. In addition, "disease" seems to have much more of a negative connotation than "infection." Some STIs can also be transmitted via the needles used in IV drug use, as well as through childbirth or breastfeeding. Sexually transmitted diseases have been well-known for hundreds of years.
Love is any of a number of emotions and experiences related to a sense of strong affection or profound oneness. There are many types of love. Courtly, Greek, religious, erotic, platonic, familial, puppy, romantic, and unrequited are all the loves humans describe. Some last long, others do not. Infatuation is the state of being completely carried away by unreasoning passion or love; addictive love. Infatuation usually occurs at the beginning of relationship when sexual attraction is central. It is characterized by urgency, intensity, sexual desire, and anxiety, in which there is an extreme absorption in another. The relationship may have insecurity, distrust, lack of confidence, and the feeling of being threatened. There may be nagging doubts and unanswered questions, so the partner remains unexamined so as not to spoil the dream. Platonic love in its modern popular sense is a non-sexual affectionate relationship, especially in cases where one might easily assume otherwise. A simple example of platonic relationships is a deep, non-sexual (overtly romantic) friendship, not subject to gender pairings and not excluding close relatives. At the same time, this interpretation is a misunderstanding of the nature of the Platonic ideal of love, which from its origin was that of a chaste but passionate love, based not on lack of interest but on spiritual transmutation of the sex force, opening up vast expanses of subtler enjoyments than sex. In its original Platonic form, this love was meant to bring the lovers closer to wisdom and the Platonic Form of Beauty. It is described in depth in Plato's Phaedrus and Symposium. In the Phaedrus, it is said to be a form of divine madness that is a gift from the gods, and that its proper expression is rewarded by the gods in the afterlife; in the Symposium, the method by which love takes one to the form of beauty and wisdom is detailed. Puppy love is an informal term for feelings of love, particularly between young people during adolescence, so-called for its resemblance to the affection that may be felt towards a puppy dog. The term is often used in a derogatory fashion, describing emotions which are shallow and transient in comparison to other forms of love such as romantic love. Puppy love, also commonly known as a "crush", can also describe the love or lust of a child or adolescent for an adult. For example, a student being attracted to his or her teacher could be considered puppy love. In this case, the term relates an infatuation which is not reciprocated. The term may meet with resistance from some young people as patronizing and belittling of genuine emotion. Passionate love is an intense state of longing for union with another. It has three components: 1) Cognitive: intrusive preoccupation with the person, idealization of that person, and desire to know the person; 2) Emotional: Attraction/Sexual attraction, positive and negative feelings, longing for reciprocity, desire for union, physiological arousal; and 3) Behavioral: Actions to determine the other's feelings, studying the person, service to the person, maintaining physical closeness. The symptoms of passionate love are: sexual, caring, intense, thinking about the person all the time, a bond, heart rate increases, wanting to be with the person all the time, arousal, emotional, expressive, kissing, lust, attraction, doesn't know the person very well, euphoria, excitement, feeling flushed, giving your self completely to the person, hugging, intimate, irrational, physical, the person is the most special person in their life, not long lasting, touching, and wanting to make each other happy. Lustful love is sexual pleasure or physical attraction. It isn't based into the ground like romantic or unconditional love. Lustful love is only considered to be lust at first sight. It is glorified in many poems. The church looks down upon it. Come to think of it, lustful love and passionate love are close to each other to well. Both do not seem to last too long. But when they do, they change into a stronger love. Greek love is a relatively modern coinage, almost universally placed within quotation marks, intended as a euphemistic reference to male-to-male sexual relations as practiced in Ancient Greece, as well as to their more recent manifestations and treatments, particularly in a 19th-century Western context. The term is thus a synonym for pederasty, though it has also been loosely applied to homosexual behaviour in general. Romantic love is a form of sexual love that attempts to either partly, or in some cases entirely, transcend mere needs driven by looks, sexual desire, or material and social gain. These things, however, play an ironic role both in its arousal and justification. Secondly, it not only is dispersed with and even inherently related to family life, but often is to some extent or entirely free. In the intermittent sense but also as free the romantic is related to tradition and legend. But romance is, or has become, a major aspect of postmodernity, and its criteria include fashion and irony. Sexual revolutions have brought such changes about. Wit or irony ecompass the inherent instability of romance, fine-tuned to its late modern peculiarities. The conflict between romance's individuality and its framework of jealousy is dealt with by Rene Girard. In its independent mode it tends to be a tragic region lying somewhere between on the one hand an ethical, and on the other hand an aesthetic (or possibly debauched) life, combining significance with ennui. Courtly love was a medieval European notion of ennobling love which found its genesis in the ducal and princely courts in regions of present-day southern France at the end of the 11th century. In essence, courtly love was a contradictory experience between erotic desire and spiritual attainment, "a love at once illicit and morally elevating, passionate and self-disciplined, humiliating and exalting, human and transcendent". The term "courtly love" was first popularized by Gaston Paris in 1883, and has since come under a wide variety of definitions and uses, even being dismissed as nineteenth-century romantic fiction. Its interpretation, origins and influences continue to be a matter of discourse. Eroticism is an aesthetic focus on sexual desire, especially the feelings of anticipation of sexual activity. It is not only the state of arousal and anticipation, but also the attempt through whatever means of representation to incite those feelings. The word "eroticism" is derived from the name of the Greek god of love, Eros. It is conceived as sensual love or the human sex drive. Philosophers and theologians discern three kinds of love: eros, philia, and agape. Of the three, eros is considered the most egocentric, focusing on care for the self. The term amor platonicus was coined as early as the 15th century by the Florentine scholar Marsilio Ficino as a synonym for amor socraticus. Both expressions signify a love focused on the beauty of a person's character and intelligence rather than on their physical charms. They refer to the special bond of affection between an older and a younger male Plato had highlighted in a dialogue, and exemplified by the affection between Socrates and his young male pupils, in particular to the one between him and Alcibiades. The English term dates back as far as Sir William Davenant's Platonic Lovers (1636). It is derived from the concept in Plato's Symposium of the love of the idea of good which lies at the root of all virtue and truth. For a brief period, Platonic love was a fashionable subject at the English royal court, especially in the circle around Queen Henrietta Maria, the wife of King Charles I. Platonic love was the theme of some of the courtly masques performed in the Caroline era-though the fashion soon waned under pressures of social and political change. Romantic love is a relative term, that distinguishes moments and situations within interpersonal relationships. There is often, initially, more emphasis on the emotions, especially those of love, intimacy, compassion, appreciation, and general "liking", rather than physical pleasure. But, romantic love, in the abstract sense of the term, is traditionally referred to as involving a mix of emotional and sexual desire for another as a person. However, Lisa Diamond, a University of Utah psychology professor, proposes that sexual desire and romantic love are functionally independent, and also, as an additional claim to the topic, that romantic love is not intrinsically oriented to same-gender or other-gender partners; and that the links between love and desire are bidirectional as opposed to unilateral. Furthermore, Diamond does not state that one's sex has priority over another sex in romantic love, because as already mentioned Diamond's theory seems to purport the idea that it is possible for someone who is heterosexual to fall in love with someone of the same gender, and for someone who is homosexual to fall in love with someone of a different gender. Ancient Greek philosophy's overturning of mythology defines in many ways our understanding of the heightened aesthetic sense in eroticism and the question of sexuality. Eros was after all the primordial god of unhinged sexual desire in addition to heteroeroticism, which is the yearning of sexual desire from the opposite sex. In the Platonic ordered system of ideal forms, Eros corresponds to the subject's yearning for ideal beauty and finality. It is the harmonious unification not only between bodies, but between knowledge and pleasure. Eros takes an almost transcendent manifestation when the subject seeks to go beyond itself and form a communion with the objectival other. The French philosopher Georges Bataille believed eroticism was a movement towards the limits of our own subjectivity and humanity, a transgression that dissolves the rational world but is always transitory. Yet an objection to eros and erotic representation is that it fosters a subject/object relationship in which the object of desire is mere projection of the needs of desiring subject. Love as eros is considered more base than philia (friendship) or agape (self-sacrificing love). But erotic engagement paradoxically individuates and de-individuates the desirer. During Elizabethan times, puppy love was known as 'calf-love'. A prominent example can be found in William Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet, in which a young man, Romeo Montague, is infatuated with a girl named Rosaline before finding true love with Juliet Capulet. In the second act, Romeo is chastised by his friend Friar Laurence, who claims his new love for Juliet illuminates the shallow nature of his feelings toward Rosaline: "Holy Saint Francis, what a change is here! Is Rosaline, whom thou didst love so dear, so soon forsaken? Young men's love then lies. Not truly in their hearts, but in their eyes."
There is a popular fantasy in the sex world. A wild girl falls for a nerdy guy. He fells the same, but he's too shy to react. The girl wants him badly because she is sick of all of the wild men she has slept with. So what does she do? The girl seduces the boy into her wild world and takes his virginity. Soon, the nerdy boy becomes a wild man and becomes popular with the other girls. But why? Why is this fantasy so popular? Maybe it's the challenge with the transformation. Maybe girls are tired that the 'wild guys' go to rough and they want something different. Or most of the girls like 'the nerdy guys' and the nerdy guys get banged more and now they know the tricks of the trade. But, it all makes for a good plot in some porno films. The knight saving the beautiful princess is a fantasy as old as time. Men sometimes fantasize about protecting the one they love. It's very common. This fantasy is so simple and cliched. The man is the hero and the woman is the damsel in distress. It is so popular in romance novels. But in reality, do women really want to be the damsel in distress? Or do they want to be the knight instead? It all depends on the woman! A threesome is the term which describes a sexual act involving three people, also referred to as a mÃnage Ãtrois. To clarify the roles, a threesome does not have to mean that all three people are engaging in sexual activity specifically with all people in the threesome, but can be one person as the focus of attention, and the other two engaging in sex with the same one person, but not necessarily with each other. However, all people are together in the same location during the experience. Some people think that when two men are with one woman that the men must somehow be bisexual, but this is often not the case. Instead, they just jointly participate in the threesome, both focusing on the same one woman. Threesomes are of course also possible between all-same-sex participants, i.e. three men or three women. This in fact removes one of the complications described above, as all the participants are presumably of the same sexual orientation. Teenage rebellion and sex seem to go hand-in-hand. Both are deemed as "bad" and appealing. They have both taught against in students in the early 50's in America. But yet, teenage rebellion and sex attract the innocent like flies to honey. They want in on the action. It has been romanticized in many Hollywood movies and novels. But, why are teenage rebellion and sex so great? Is it the thrill that living on the wild side brings? The freedom of living big? Perhaps. But, one only lives once... A ravishment or rape fantasy is a sexual fantasy about participating in a rape, a fictional story about a rape, or an acted-out scene of pretend rape between consenting adults. Rape fantasies occur in both the male and female sexual fantasy realms and their contents range from unwilling seduction to violent, forceful sex. One can imagine one is the rapist, or that one is being raped. The most commonly held theory about this phenomenon is that many individuals turn to fantasies about being raped as a means of reconciling naturally-occurring sexual desires with the intense negative stigma their culture and/or creed affix to sexual activity. The fantasy serves as a psychological device through which the fantasizer can safely indulge in intense sexual experiences without guilt, by absolving themselves of responsibility for participating in the act. Many socially acceptable examples can be found in "bodice ripper" fiction. Rape fantasies can also represent an outlet for sexually submissive/dominant individuals. In such fantasies they can imagine themselves as having or lacking sexual control or power without actually participating in an illegal or immoral act. Another relatively common theory is that the attraction men feel toward raping is an evolutionary relic of prehistoric man; thousands of years ago, those willing to rape were more likely to have their genes passed on. According to these sociobiological theories of rape, rape fantasy fulfills a hereditary impulse that in civilized society where real rape has become socially intolerable. It has been proposed that for some who have actually been sexually abused, rape fantasy may be a way to heal past wounds by exploring in a safe environment with a sense of control. Dr. Michael J. Bader, author of Arousal: The Secret Logic of Sexual Fantasies, writes: "It is quite common that children who were abused grow up and develop sexual fantasies loosely based on their abuse. ... The adult indulging in a fantasy of sexual surrender or abasement is actually saying to her or himself: 'I'm recreating a terrifying or traumatic scene, but this time I'm in control because I'm scripting the scene ...'" Regardless, the presence of rape fantasies in a community or individual cannot be taken to imply that the fantasizers in reality condone rape, desire to rape others, or wish to be raped themselves. Why do guys like lesbians so much? There are many reasons. Some want a threesome. Others just like to see the naked women. There is much pornography about lesbians. Most males like to see two kissing. But, some girls pretend to be lesbians to get the attention of men and arouse them.
Jealousy is an ugly thing. It can destroy a relationship in seconds. It's the weed in the garden of love. It chokes the beautiful flowers love sends out to its gardener. If left free, jealousy will choke and kill all of the love that was growing. But at times, this weed called jealousy can be good. If the lover is unfaithful, it can help to put them back on track. The complexity of jealousy allows people to define it in different ways. Dictionary definitions describe popular meanings of jealousy. Scientific definitions emphasize aspects of jealousy that have received attention in theory and research. Despite differences in wording and emphasis, definitions of jealousy usually share basic themes. These shared themes indicate jealousy is a meaningful concept. Jealousy can also be distinguished from concepts such as envy. In simple terms, jealousy is a feeling of protective resentment towards one who threatens a relationship or value.
Rape is a form of assault where an individual forces another to have sexual intercourse against that person's will. Most experts believe the primary cause of rape is an aggressive desire to dominate the victim rather than an attempt to achieve sexual fulfillment. They consider rape an act of violence rather than principally a sexual encounter. Rape is generally considered one of the most serious sex crimes and can be very difficult to prosecute. Sexual violence can also be a war crime under international law. Consent may be absent due to duress arising from the use, or threat, of overwhelming force or violence, or because the subject is incapacitated in some way such as intoxication and/or underage innocence. In some cases coercion might also be used to negate consent. There is no universally accepted distinction between rape and other forms of assault involving one or both participant's sexual organs. Some criminal codes explicitly consider all kinds of forced sexual activity to be rape, whereas in others only acts involving penile penetration of the vagina. Many restrict rape to instances where a woman is forced by a man. In recent years some women have been convicted of raping men; this is classed as either rape or sexual assault. In some jurisdictions rape may also be committed by assailants using objects, rather than their own body parts, against the sexual organs of their target. The rape of women by men is the most frequent form of the assault. Male-male rape is common, primarily in correctional facilities. There are an increasing number of female assailants being convicted for the rape of men, most commonly, statutory rape. It is thought that female rapists who rape other women are almost never caught or convicted and research on female rapists is rare.
Suffering is a negative basic feeling or emotion that involves unpleasantness, aversion, harm or threat of harm. Suffering may be called physical or mental, depending on whether it is linked primarily to a body process or a mind process. Examples of physical suffering are pain as a sensation, nausea, breathlessness, and itching. Examples of mental suffering are anxiety, grief, hatred, and boredom. The intensity of suffering comes in all degrees, from the triflingly mild to the unspeakably insufferable. Factors of duration and frequency of occurrence are often considered along with that of intensity. People's attitudes toward a suffering may vary hugely according to how much they deem it as light or severe, avoidable or unavoidable, useful or useless, of little or of great consequence, deserved or undeserved, chosen or unwanted, acceptable or unacceptable. The words pain and suffering can be confusing and may require careful handling. (1) Sometimes they are synonyms and interchangeable. (2) Sometimes they are used in contradistinction to one another: e.g. "pain is inevitable, suffering is optional", or "pain is physical, suffering is mental". (3) Sometimes one word refers to a variety of that to which the other refers: e.g. "pain is physical suffering", or "suffering is severe physical or mental pain". (4) Sometimes yet, people use them in another fashion. All sentient beings suffer during their lives, in diverse manners, and often dramatically. No field of human activity deals with the whole subject of suffering, but many are concerned with its nature and processes, its origin and causes, its meaning and significance, its related personal, social, and cultural behaviors, its remedies, management, and uses.
White elephant is a phrase for an unwanted or unwieldy item or project. It is the forever present sign of an unwanted burden in life. The elephant can be anything weighting down people in life. Ernest Hemingway wrote the short story, Hills Like White Elephants, the white elephant in the story is Jig's unborn baby. But what can one do with this mighty pale elephant. There are many ways of dealing with it. But however the elephant is handled, sometimes it returned and other times it doesn't. There comes a time when people come a decision when both options are not pretty. What can one do? Sometimes it depends on their life. Sometimes one or both things they find valuable is at steak. Nobody wants to lose what they have. But they do not have a choice. The options are there right in front of them. They have to choose or lose it all. But it's not always easy at times...
How does one kiss and make-up? There are many ways. One can apologize whole-heartedly. One can do something nice for the person. One could pay for the damages. But no matter how it is done, it all depends on the other person's response. They could forgive the first person or just cut them out altogether. But it is worth a try to kiss and make-up.
Can our dreams be messages to us to do something? Some prophets and saints emerge from angels sending them messages in dreams. Joseph was told to stay be a pregnant Mary's side through an angel in a dream. Kings and queens have called on priests and priestesses to interpret out their dreams for the future. Dream messages can be a good plot device to a story. But sometimes, they can be misused or misinterpreted. Some nutters have committed crimes due to "dreams" they had. So, one should be careful not to follow our dreams to closely.
Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), as defined by the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, is a mental condition whereby a single individual evidences two or more distinct identities or personalities, each with its own pattern of perceiving and interacting with the environment. The presumption is that at least two personalities may routinely take control of the individual's behavior. The diagnostic criteria also calls for some associated memory loss that goes beyond normal forgetfulness, often referred to as losing time or acute Dissociative Amnesia. The symptoms of DID must occur independently of substance abuse or a more general medical condition in order to be diagnosed. Dissociative identity disorder was originally named Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD), and, as referenced above, that name remains in the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems.
What are our inner demons? It can be many things: alcoholism, depression, addiction, childhood trauma, the list goes on. Our inner demons vary in size. Some can be really small. Others are normally big. Some people have one and others have many. Everyone has an inner demon. We can ignore them if we like, but eventually we have to face our inner demons.
As you can see from my multiple pages, (I stopped counting a long time ago! ^^;;), I have learned so much in over the past seven months. And this is only part one of my work! That’s right! I have finished the research and documentary part of the course. Now, Dr. Howard is going to take me out to the field for live research and observation. Wish me luck!

Next Time: Hunter goes out to get Addi a little present while trying to escape from Ginny. Doug sends him to a "special-type" of store for that.
