*Pete’s POV*
“Wow. For someone so small, you sure can eat a lot.” I said
“I know, everyone says that.” Adriana said while eating her cheese omelet.
“It’s 8:20 aren’t you late for work?”
“Fuck. They are going to kill me.”
“Well then let’s get out of here.”
“Yeah, I think we better. I’m sorry to cut this short.” She said getting up
“It is fine. Don’t worry about it.”
Adriana went to pay the bill but not without a fight from me. I wanted to pay but she was so adamant about paying that I finally gave up and let her. She was so happy to pay because she felt like she was doing something for me.
“Thank you babe.” I said
“Your welcome.” Adriana said with a smile. She was so cute.
I walked her to work which was about 6 blocks from the diner we went to.
“I have to get in there.” She said noticing Taryn and Justina were not there yet. “Stay here with me until they get here, please.”
“Of course.” I replied
“Thank you.” Just then her cell phone started to ring. She answered it the same way she always does. It is so charming and professional.
“Justina, what do you mean you are not coming in today?” She said. “Oh ok, well I will see you tomorrow.”
“What happened?” I asked
”Justina is not coming because she was out too late with Andy.”
“Oh Really?”
“Yeah, ugh hold on.” Her cell was ringing again.
“Taryn, you have to come in, I have no one here with me today…..whatever, just be here tomorrow.”
“She’s not coming either, this is turning into the day from fucking hell.” Adriana said
“Do you wan me to stay and help you today?” I said right away
“It’s ok, I don’t want to ruin your day. Don’t worry about it, I am sure I can figure
something out.” She said
“I’m staying, this will be fun.”
“Are you sure?”
“Positive, plus I get to spend the whole day with you.”
“You are a life saver.” She said kissing me.
*Adriana’s POV*
Surprisingly, the day was running smoothly. Thank god Pete decided to stay otherwise I
would have been up the creek. He was great with clients, even the ones who freaked out
when the recognized him.
“Pete, can you run to my office and get the sketch of the black one shoulder gown, it is in
my drawer.”
“No problem sweetie.” He replied
Pete took a while to come back with my sketch, but when he walked out of the office, he
looked confused.
“You have way too many drawers.” He said laughing.
“I’m sorry, I should have specified.”
The day went by so fast, working with Pete was awesome. I closed the shop at 5pm and
Pete and I went back to my place.
“Adriana, the guys want to hang out tonight at like 8. Do you want to come with me?”
“Yeah, that would be great, but only if it is ok with you.”
“Don’t be silly, I would love for you to be there. Plus, I am sure Taryn and Justina will be
there too."
“Yeah well they better go home early tonight so that they make it to work in the
morning.”
“If they don’t we can handle the shop again.”
“I don’t want to bore you to death in there.” I said laughing
“I can’t be bored if I am with you.”
Pete walked moved over to where I was on the couch and pressed his lips against mine.
They were always so soft and warm, kissing him was comforting, I felt safe. He ran his
tongue along my bottom lip and I granted him entrance. His kiss was rough and full of
need. Pete pulled away just long enough to take off my shirt. Pete sat on my hips and kissed my chest and left a trail of kisses down to my belly button and back again. He attacked my neck, sucking on it and kissing it. I pushed him back up and slowly removed his shirt. I kissed his shoulders and all across the tattoo around his neck. I got up and pulled him up with me. I unbuckled his belt and took his jeans off. Pete did the same to me while kissing me. He ran his hands along my entire body. I ran my hands through his hair while we kissed. I could feel his excitement against me. Pete started to kiss down my stomach and I threw my head back. Just then, I noticed the time on the clock. 7:50.
“Pete…we have to go.” I said breathily
“We can be late.” He said
“No we can’t.” I said pulling him up to me. “We can finish this later.”
“I think I have to finish now.” He said with a grin
“How about I take car of that in the car?” I said with a wink.
We got dressed and headed over to the guys’ shared house.
When we got there, I could hear loud music.
“Are they having a party or something?” I said
“I don’t think so, Patrick said it was going to be a really chill night.” Pete said as we walked through the door.
“I didn’t know that a chill night included beer pong and 25 people.” I said and we both laughed.
“Pete, I will be right back. I want to go talk to Justina and Taryn.” I said
I walked over to the girls.
“Hey bitches!” I said
“Adriana!!!” The both yelled and we hugged.
“Let’s go into a quiet room so we can chit chat.” Justina said.
We walked into the nearest bedroom and sat on the bed and started to talk.
“So what were you girls up to last night?” I asked
“Well, we all just came back here and chilled. We talked and watched movies. I was fun. Joe is so funny.” Taryn said
“Yeah he is and Andy is amazingly sweet.”
“That is awesome, I am so glad you guys hit it off so well.” I said. “Oh by the way, I am docking you two a days pay for not showing up today.” I said with a serious face.
“WHAT?” Taryn said
“Well you didn’t work, so you don’t get paid.” I was laughing on the inside.
“That is so fucked up, I can’t believe you are being like that.” Justina stated getting pissed of.
“Well don’t screw me over and I won’t screw you over.” I said laughing, I just couldn’t hold it in anymore. “I’m just kidding assholes.”
“Ugh, sometimes you’re a bitch.” Justina said
“Sooo, what did you do last night?”
“Well, I almost did something, but I stopped it.”
“Why?” Taryn said
“I didn’t want things to get weird. We almost had sex again today but we had to get here.” I said
“Umm you could have just come later.” Justina said back.
“I like teasing my boyfriends, it’s something I do best.” I laughed.
“Boyfriend?” Taryn asked.
“Oh yeah, did I omit that.” I said innocently. “I want to play pong, let’s get back to the party.”
We walked back out and went straight to the pong table where I saw Pete playing against Joe. I walked up behind Pete without him noticing I was there. Just as he was about to toss the ball, I tickled him.
“What the fuck?” Pete said turning around. “Oh sorry, I didn’t know it was you.”
“It’s ok.”
“Good job Adriana.” Joe said
“I know, I’m rooting for you Joe.” I said
“Hell yeah.” He said
“Are you serious?” Pete asked.
“Yeah, I like Joe better. His hair is sexy.” I said joking.
Joe threw the ball and got it in one of Pete’s cups.
“Yeah but I bet Joe can’t get you hot.” Pete said
“Wanna bet?” I said joking. I walked over to Pete and gave him a hug.
“Drink up faggot.” Joe yelled to Pete.
“Yeah yeah” Pete said
“I got next game against the winner.” I said
“So, it’s Adriana and Joe in the next round?” Taryn said laughing
“What is this, gang up on Pete day?” Pete said
“Is today Monday?” I asked
“Yeah why?” Pete asked confused
“Than yeah it is make fun of Pete day.” I said and everyone laughed.
The game ended and Joe won of course. I was nervous about playing him because he was really good. I had to pretend I wasn’t intimidated.
“Let’s go.” I said. “Prepare to lose.”
“Yeah keep shit talking.” Pete said to me.
“Oh please, I own this game.”
“Then prove it.” He said
“Ladies first.” Joe said throwing the pong ball to me.
I threw the ball and got it in.
“Yeah Adriana.” Justina yelled.
The game ended and I actually kicked Joe’s ass.
“Bow down to the master.” I joked.
“Beginner’s luck” Pete said
“Bring it on” I replied.
I played Pete and beat him too. By now I was tired and everyone was starting to leave.
“Pete, are you coming to my place or staying home?” I asked
“Going with you.” He stated.
“Ok. Let me say bye to Taryn and Justina because they are leaving. I will be right back.”
I went and said bye to them.
“Are you going to finish what you started?” Justina asked being nosy.
“I will let you know tomorrow.” I said teasing them.
I hugged them and went back to Pete.
“I’m ready.” I said
“Then let’s get out of here, beautiful.” He said
Pete always made me feel special. He just had a way about him.
We got back to my place at about 1:20.
“So, what do you want to do?” Pete said wiggling his eyebrows.
“I don’t know, what do you want to do?” I said teasing him
“You know what I want.” He said grabbing me
“I’m not sure I get what you are saying.”
Pete grabbed me by the back and pulled me into a forceful kiss. The kiss made my knees weak. I grabbed Pete’s hand and walked into my room. I striped down to my lingerie and undressed Pete. I crawled into bed and pulled Pete in with me. We were making out and things started to get really heated. Just then I stopped turned over and got comfortable.
“What are you doing?” Pete asked
“Going to sleep.” I said
“How many times are you going to do this?”
“You will just have to find out.” I replied

“Good night Pete.” I said

“What is wrong with me? Does she not find me attractive? Did I do something wrong?” I asked myself. I tossed and turned all night and didn’t sleep at all.
When Adriana woke up the next morning, I didn’t know what to say to her.
“Did you sleep well?” She asked looking at me.
“Yeah” I said plainly
“Are you sure?”

“Ok, well I’m going to go shower. Do you want to order breakfast from downstairs while I am showering?”
“Ok, what do you want?”
“Surprise me.”
“Just fucking tell me what you want.” I said a little nasty
“Pancakes, homefries, and bacon.” She said walking away
When Adriana got out of the shower, I walked passed her straight into the bathroom to
take my shower. While I was in there, Adriana came in and sat on the toilet.
“Pete, what’s wrong?” She asked.
I could hear it in her voice that she was upset.
“I’m sure you know already.” I replied
“Pete, I’m sorry about last night and yesterday afternoon…and the night before.”
“What’s wrong with me?” I asked
“Nothing, you are amazing. I am just nervous I guess.”
“Addie, you have nothing to be scared about. What is making you feel this way?” I asked
“Please don’t call me Addie.” She said
“Ok. So talk.”
“Well, I haven’t had a relationship in 2 years and I feel like I want to do things
differently. There were things I felt like I did wrong, and I don’t want it to happen again.”
“You could have just told me that before” I said getting out of the shower. “Let’s do
things your way, I don’t want to ruin this either.”
“Pete you are so great.”
“I know” I said joking around. “Let’s go eat. I’m starving.”
“Ok. I wonder if Taryn and Justina are waiting for me. I’m going to call the shop.”
Adriana used the phone and came back to the table.
“I told them to open the store without me today.”
“Why?”
“I want to spend the day with you.” She said kissing me. “Plus there are a few things I
want to show you.”
“Like what?”
“You’ll see. And after we do that, I have a special night planned for us.”
