You might classify me a Ginny-hater, but I mostly just get pissed that JKR seems to think she's a good match for Harry in canon. The problem is that she's just as you have her in this story -- basically without personality or any real use. (Well, besides perhaps breeding :P) Hermione's a much better girl, a better person for Harry, and worth so much more than useless!jealous!git!Ron.

You don't think she's suddenly Harry's "destined soul-mate" or anything, which is my biggest Ginny-complaint. To pair her with any main character she needs to become a real person. If that actually happens, I have no complains about H/G, I just hate it when authors have him sitting alone at home and suddenly decide that he's going to marry Ginny, which happens FAR too often. With Hermione it'd at least no be completely ludicrous, since he actually knows her, but he never really talks to her. Not even in JKR's books, despite them supposedly ending up together.

(That was kinda repetitive, wasn't it. Oh well...)
