God, how I wished Ryan did say that to Brendon. That bitch.
It's sad how Brendon plays around with Ryan's heart so much, and then telling him that it meant absolutely nothing to him for what the had done, was heartbreaking. Not only to Ryan, but to the readers as well. It made Brendon come off as a cocky jerk, especially since he betrayed his fiancee with Ryan, causing the playing of Ryan's heart. And it wasn't just a betrayal to Ryan, but Aymi(sp?) as well. And the fact that Brendon said that it meant nothing, implied that Ryan meant nothing to him.
The murder of Aymi(sp?) was jaw dropping. I wasn't expecting it. I was truly believing that Ryan would come to his senses and not kill anyone, as Brendon falls for Ryan and nobody hears from the girl ever again. But, I love that you didn't turn to the cliche route and have everyone live happily ever after. It was such a relief. I applaud you for doing the unexpected. That's what I love about this story. It's so unpredictable. And that's wayy more than I can say for a lot of fics around here.
I'm wondering this, did he kill Brendon as well? I didn't quite understand. Mostly because I was reading so fast because I wanted to see what happens. The suspense was killing me! I was at the edge of my seat.
