This would be better with more depth and detail, but I can just see Lockhart getting Snape into something like this. I could also see Lockhart not understanding what the expression "Queer Eye" meant. Perhaps he thinks that "straight" is a reference to Snape's posture? Oho, many a good jibe could come from this...
