I really liked the dream sequence. His subconscious is telling him to stay on the right path. I thought it told us a lot about how he’s doing.
The “dad” part. I loved the internal dialog Gerard had in that part. And if Bill is based off your father-in-law, then ouch man. I’m sorry. In-laws can be a pain in the ass.
The second picture of your kitty looks like a lolcat waiting for a caption. She’s very pretty. And as someone who is owned by cats, I completely get the bitching. But they make it all worth while when they curl up in your lap and purr.

Almost all the dreams are bits of ones I've actually had.
And yeah, the dad is based off my father-in-law =S He's mellowed out a bit on me though.
I frequently wake up with the cat curled into my stomach. I guess since I sleep late, sometimes she'll come in after she's fed and just hog the bed. lol
