Oooh shit I'm so sorry I was on a caffeine high and hadn't slept for... about two and a half days. I needed to take out some anger without destroying anything, and this was the closest thing to hand. I'm SO SO sorry, please will you forgive me for this coffee-fuelled lash-out? it's a good story, brilliant writing :)
