The story line looks promising too. Maybe throw in some 3 cheers references (y'know because, all teenage ryan ross wore were mychem t shirts and the whole revenge thing links in. )
I'm so sorry you lost a friend. From experience i know it sucks but try and move forward. Its the best thing you can do now. I hope everything turns out okay. You're a brilliant author, never forget that.
