I hope you never ever downplay your writing abilities, because this was stunning.
I'm going to admit that war stories, abuse stories, and stories set in the 1960s battling racism are all kinda my weaknesses. I love this so much.
Your imagination is wonderful, I think you really captured the setting really well. :) can't wait for another update!
