Would be interesting if Hermonie was at the gathering and was drawn in to an active member of the event, but this doesn't seem like that type of fic. Please don't let Astoria get off too easily. Thanks for sharing.

No Hermione won't actively participate. If enough people request it before the chapter is finished I may have her there to watch though. It didn't strike me as her type of gathering but I guess she might consider an exercise in Anthropology or something.
As for Astoria you'll have to wait and see what happens to her. :)
