If you get any hate on this story, what's probably going to be said is that it's predictable. And it is, and that's totally okay. It reads like a folk tale, which I think is what you're going for. It's simple and easy to understand. Like, it's good. Staple story, dude. Nice work. So if somebody tells you that, just roll it off and keep going! You are doing really good!
