Good characterisation on Molly and Ginny. Ginny can be possessive and Molly is terminally credulous and over-protective (almost to the point of being as possessive as Ginny).
You were right, Bill chose the most wrong way possible to break the news. Poor Harry should be used to Molly's over-reactions by now, though.
