As for content, Iruka is a ninja, which means I very much doubt he'd let Kakashi smack him around without - at the very least - dodging. He'd probably lose in the end, but he'd at least make a fight of it. He's not a defeatist personality by any means. Maybe that is something you can address in the next chapter.
