After I woke up and wiped the drool off my face I was all hyped for the dance tonight. I hurried with my shower and threw on a pair of black skinny jeans with a tight hot pink v-knew tee with my hot pink converses. I left my hair curly because it's natural and I didn't feel like straightening it today. I walk out of my room closing my door behind me and look to see that Jake is doing the same.
"Jesus!" I scream loud enough for people in china to hear
"What is it now Zoey?" He asked looking up at me
"Go change now!" I yell pointing to his room
We were both wearing black skinny jeans.
"Oh huh ho... Man am I good. We match again sista." He said in a joking voice
"Jesus Jake.. what can you like see the future,read minds tell me your secret Jake I'm dieing to know. Becuase this has just taken me a little over very creeped out." I say putting my hands on my hips
"Last I checked..I didn't and I can't." He said with a chuckle heading down the stairs
"Ya whatever Jake. I so don't beleive you." I take off running down the stairs to tell my mom Jake's hidden abilities
"Mooooooooommmmmmmm!" I yell
"What dear?"
"Jake has hidden abilites that he hasn't told anyone about." I explain
"She's just being weird because we both are wearing skinny jeans and we didn't plan it."
"And they just so happen to be black." I add
"You guys are funny."
"Mom this is not a laughing matter this is serious."
"So is this. Look at the time we still have to go pick up Brooke."
"Uhh.. where did the time go? Uhh.. whatever lets just go. Bye mom."
"Bye kids."
We pick up brooke and are heading to the school.
"Guys wad up with the jeans?"
"It's all Jakes fault because he wouldn't change when I told him to go change because he walked out his room with them on and I went downstairs to tell my mom that he had abilities that no one knowed about and she just laughed and then we had to leave so I couldn't change." I said in one breath really fast
"Woah slow down and take a breath Zo. It'll be ok." She said patting my back
"Nothing is ok when you match your older brother." I say with a sigh
We get to the school and head inside. Brooke and I go to our lockers and I look over to where Jimmys' locker is and there he is right beside it.
"Brooke." I whisper
"Ya."
"Look who is beside me?"
She leans over her locker door to look.
"Say something."
"Like what?" I say in a panic
"Hey."
"NO."
"DO IT!"
"NO.
"Yes."
"No."
Brooke pushes me over to him.
"Hey." I say shutting my locker
"Hey." He says taking a glance at me
"So your locker is next to my brothers."
"Wait.. your Jakes little sister?" He asks
"Umm.. ya why?"
"Ahh no reason I just thought.. Never mind."
"Wait.. what did you think?" I asked wanting to know
Just then the bell rings and ruins it.
"Gotten jet don't wanna be late. Check ya later." He said leaving me stand there with Brooke
"What the Hell."
"Well, looks like he just dissed you."
"Was that a dis?"
"Either that or that's his way of saying he likey you." She said poking my stomach
"Ya whatever lets just get to class."
The end of the day comes really fast maybe because it's a Friday and there's a dance tonight. Brooke comes home with Jake and I. Brooke and I have a lot of prep work before we can go to the dance.
"Oh Brooke." I say while she takes a seat on my bed
"Ya Zo?"
"Did you know that Jeanie broke up with Jake?"
"OMG! She did. What happened?" She asked concered
"She dumped up with him for anothe guy." I say
"Aww.. he didn't look sad or anything."
"Ya, I talked to him last night asked if he was going to the dance and things."
"What did he say?" She said standing up fast and coming tward me
"Umm.. well he'll think about it."
"Zo?"
"What?"
"There is something I've gotta tell you." She said all serious
"Ya what is it?" I asked concerned now
"I have the hots for your brother."
"Ahhhhhhh!!!!" I scream
"shhhh.. keep it down." She says takaling me
"Ok.. this is kinda gross..you liking my brother.."
"I know I never bothered to tell you because he had a girlfriend and never thought he'd see me in the way other than your best friend." She sad a little sad
"Brooke. You do have a chance to date him now."
"OMG. Are you giving me permission to date your brother?" She asks putting her hand to her heart
"Yes."
After about an hour of that, we change to get ready for the dance. I put on a Hollister faded mini with a fitted tank and a cardigan to cover it up. Brooke put on faded blue ripped jeans with an A&F knitted lime-green shirt.
"Wow! My brother is going to be drooling." I say all excited
"Are you for real?!"
"Totally."
We walk out my room the same time Jake walks out of his. The moment I looke up his eyes are all over her like last years turkey.
"Hey Jake." Brooke says
"Wow! You looke great."
"I do?"
"Yes you look beautiful."
"Ok you love birds lets get to the dance." I chime in
"We arn't love birds." Brooke throws back
All I hear Jake do is laugh. We head downstairs and tell mom bye and head to the car.
"Uhh.. Zo. Why don't you let Brooke sit in the front." Jake offers
"OOOk I guess." I say getting in the back
"This is strange of him." Brooke whispers to me
"I think he's starting to look at you in a new light." I whisper back
"Hehe." Is all she says running over to the passangers side
We get to the high school and there are quite a few cars in the parking lot.
"Well, are you ready to get your party on Brookers?"
"Oh, ya." She says looking at Jake who looks back at her
