Taylor’s POV

“WHAT THE FUCK?!”

I couldn’t help but scream that in aggravation.

Oh my fucking God! Why won’t this motherfucking psycho just GO AWAY!

I could feel the anger radiating off of Gabe getting stronger by the second. I couldn’t blame him. If I was capable of moving without pain than this stupid fuck’s ass would be grass. This was seriously becoming way too ‘bad horror movie’ for me.

You know those? Where there’s 5 million fucking sequels because the villain DOESN’T DIE!

This was ridiculous, legit ridic.

“What the hell are you doing alive?!” Gabe screamed in fury.

I could see that his fists were clenched so tightly that his knuckles were beginning to turn white. I hope he beats the shit out of this fucker.

Brian chuckled menacingly and walked forward and it was now that I noticed he was in a hospital gown too, “You thought I was dead hmm? Taylor, Taylor, Taylor you should’ve known better, I never leave a job unfinished.”

I gasped in shock as he pulled a gun from behind his back.

WHAT THE FUCK?!?!

And then he aimed it at my head.

“Put the fucking gun down,” Gabe gritted out barely containing his fury.

“Don’t worry lover boy, it’ll be your turn next. First I want you to watch her die,” Brian chuckled.

“Brian where the fuck did you get a gun from?” I asked exasperated.

“You know those guard should be a little more careful when guarding a dangerous man’s hospital room. You’re gonna need more than one puny little 5’ 5” guard watching it,” he said moving a little forward.

I got it now. I guess I hadn’t killed Brian, but I definitely injured him. I could already see some blood stains on his hospital gown from where I’d stabbed him.

“Oh my god. Won’t you just die?” I sighed annoyed.

I know I probably should be scared. I don’t think the reality and gravity of this situation has quite come to my understanding, I was in a bit of denial.

He chuckled ever more menacingly than before and I gasped under my breath as I heard a click the he just took the safety off the gun.

I heard a growl emit from Gabe and he went to lunge and Brian spoke, “Haha. You might not wanna do that, by the time you reach me, she’ll already be shot straight through the head.”

I heard Gabe’s heavy breathing and was about to try and find my way out of this crazy situation when suddenly the door opened and Cam poked her head in and gasped in absolute shock.

It took the 3 seconds that Brian turned to see who was peeking in for Gabe to tackle him to the ground and throw the gun away. Coincidentally it landed next to me.

What the fuck?

I picked it up and seriously just wanted to scream. This was sooo déjà vu. This is like one never ending nightmare, I just want it to end!

Gabe had Brian against the wall and was fighting him repeatedly and I couldn’t help but want to grab Gabe push him against the wall and have my way with him. But first there was one very large rodent that I had to exterminate.

“BRIAN JUST FUCKING DIE!!!”I screamed and shot him repeatedly, at least 4 times. I wanted to make sure that this fucker never came back.

Cam screamed and backed away, “I am going to get us some help here!!” she ran away to hopefully go find a cop or something.

Gabe backed away from Brian now dead body and turned to look at me.

Brian raised the gun at Gabe and I shot him one last time, right through the heart, and he slumped down again.

Gabe stood there in shock as I was breathing heavily with the gun aimed at Brian still, just incase.

I was breathing so hard that I was questioning whether or not I was in the midst of a panic attack.

After a few minutes he moved towards me and crawled towards me on the bed. I was still staring at Brian’s body, with the gun shaking in my hands as I still pointed it at him.

Gabe gently grabbed the gun and lowered it and took it from my hands and placed it on the table next to us. I continued staring at Brian’s body. Not only had I shot someone once thinking that I killed them, I had to shoot them AGAIN to make sure that they were dead. This was way too much for me to handle in one day.

Gabe tenderly wrapped me in his arms and the comfort that he was giving me cancelled out the bit of pain I felt. He wiped my cheeks and I noticed then that I had been crying. For how long, I had no clue. He grasped my face lightly in his hands and pulled his head close to mine so that he could look right into my eyes.

“Everything is going to be alright now. I will never let anyone ever hurt you again. I swear on my life,” he whispered to me gently.

I just continued crying, now sobbing and nodded my head grasping his body closely to mine and he just held me as I cried.

The door barged open again and about 8 police officers and Alex, Ryland, Cam, and Joe came running in along with a doctor and a few nurses.

“What’s going- OH MY GOD!” the doctor yelled as he saw Brian’s now dead body slumped against the wall. Looking at it just made my sobs louder and I couldn’t control it at all.

“Shhh. Shhh, it’ll be okay. I promise it will al be okay,” Gabe whispered in my ear as he rocked me back and forth.

Cam gasped and covered her mouth as Joe stood in front of her and held her, blocking Brian from her view.

“An explanation would be very helpful right now,” a confused police officer requested.

I tried the best to tell the story and everything that had happened as they pulled Brian’s body out of the room, thank God.

When the police officer heard everything he sent some of his fellow officers to go check up on the guard.

Once he took some notes in and filled out some paper he decided that it was in self defense and I might not even have to go to court if I can stop by the station sometime to finish filling out some papers in the next few weeks.

I smiled gratefully at the old graying cop who just nodded at me with a smile.

After the doctor’s checked up on me they decided that I had to stay here for the next 2 days for observations and to make sure that my vitals stayed fine and that I was healing okay. After that I was free to go. I was informed by everyone that we had three days until we had to go to the next stop which was in south Jersey and that on the way there my parents insisted that we all stop there and have a barbeque. They wanted to make sure that I was alright.

There was only a few dates left in the tour anyway, it ended in Virginia, it had started in North Carolina.

That kind of made me sad, I’d be separated from Gabe. Those thoughts were not the kinds that I wanted to be thinking now though so I just pushed them aside and listened to everyone around me speak.

Gabe, Alex, Cam, Trish, Shaant, Patrick, Joe, and Ryland were all sitting around me new room, since the old one was blood splattered (disturbingly so), and they were lounging on all of the uncomfortable hospital furniture.

They tried to make jokes to cheer me up and keep me from feeling all that pain from my injuries (even though the large amounts of pain meds were definitely helping) but the truth was that I was tired and I just wanted to sleep. It was already 6 in the morning and I was tired and drowsy from all the medicine I’d been receiving.

And let’s face it; I’ve had a very long night.

I yawned loudly, unable to control it. Alex and Gabe both noticed immediately.

“Are you tired?” Alex asked from beside me, where he sat in a hard wooden chair. He had refused to leave my side all night long.

Gabe had also refused to leave my side and was sitting next to me on the hospital bed with his arm around my shoulder with my head on his chest.

“Yeah, actually I really am. I’ll be honest,” I told them yawning again.

“That’s completely understandable. You did more than James Bond today, AND you’re a girl AND you’re injured. You’re my new super hero!” leave it to Ryland relieve the tension from this evening with his humor. I decided to ignore his sexist statement and focus on the cuteness of the whole thing.

“Why thank you Rylan, but even super heroes need sleep,” I started to hint to them all.

Everyone continued talking for a little bit and I motioned for Cam to come towards me from where she sat at the head of my bed with Joe, them both sharing a small bench.

She came towards me and gave me one big giant hug, “We thought we’d lost you!” she whispered, not wanting to upset anybody anymore.

“You can’t get rid of me that easily,” I told her pointing at her smiling.

She chuckled quietly trying to hold in the tears that I saw there.

“You have a wholeee lotttt to tell me tomorrow,” I told her nodding towards Joe who was now slumping downwards on the bench, about to fall off in a tired daze any second now.

She just nodded and gave me one more hug before backing away and I yawned again, this time obnoxiously. I couldn’t help it though! I was tired!

“She does need her sleep guys. She’s had a very long day,” Patrick chimed in and I smiled at him thankfully as he started to usher everyone out.

He gave me one last wink and closed the door and I noticed that the only people left were Alex and Gabe.

“Taylor, I’m gonna leave to go get some sleep but I promise I’ll be back in a few hours. The only reason I am leaving at all is because I know that Gabriel here is going to refuse to and I know that you’re safe with him here. Oh JSYK I officially approve of this coupling, if you were wondering,” he shrugged with a ghost of a smirk on his face.

I held in my smart remarks and smiled lightly at him, “I’m glad.”

He saluted us before walking out the door and slowly closing it behind him.

I looked up at Gabe to see him staring down at me.

“Yes?” I questioned curiously.

“Nothing. I love you,” he said clearly.

“I love you to,” I responded immediately, without any hesitation at all.

I don’t need to think about my feelings when it comes to him; I know exactly how I feel.

He kissed my forehead lightly before wrapping his arm more securely and pulling me more snuggly into his side. I laid my head on his chest and he laid his head on my head.

“Taylor,” I heard him murmur sleepily.

“Hmmm?” I questioned, sighing tiredly.

“I don’t want you to leave me. Promise me you won’t leave me ever again,” he murmured almost incoherently. I understood him perfectly though.

“I promise you I’ll never leave you again,” I murmured back sleepily.

By that time though he was already fast asleep with his head laying on top of mine and his arms wrapped around me protectively.

I ran one hand through his hair and laid one on his chest, feeling his heart beat. I heard it as I laid my head on his chest.

The gentle beating of his heart lulled me to sleep.
