Evan pulled her hood up and adjusted the volume on her ipod so she could just barely hear the cars passing by. She hated school. It was pointless. There were so many online classes you could take these days, that the government probably just kept school around as a form of keeping kids under watch for seven hours. She looked right and left, before stepping into the street in front of her. A blaring horn was the last thing she heard before everything went dark.
