“So, my name is Lana, I’m almost seventeen now, and,” She smiled slightly to herself and rolled her eyes. “I’m not so good at this whole, blogging thing,” She skewed her mouth to the side and looked around, not wanting to stare straight into the camera.

“I guess I got into this whole video blogging craze when my social life fell apart,” She laughed again, twirling her fingers around. “I say fell apart, it didn’t really, I just chose to be a family member rather than go out with friends. My family means a lot to me...” She picked up a photo and showed it to the camera, smiling.

“Anyway, now that all my friends have new friends and don’t really speak to me anymore, I guess I have to find my own way to amuse myself, which is where this camera comes in,” She sighed, ready to end her first blog.

“Anyway I’ll post this video with my MySpace and Twitter in the description, I’ll update those too, probably, but for now, I’ll see you later...” She switched the camera off and sat back in her chair, sighing again. She stayed there for a few moments before heading downstairs, vowing to post her video later. She saw her mother at the table and coughed.

“Oh hello, sorry we were just in the middle of a Hymn,” She mumbled, and Lana nodded, sitting at the dining table.

Some things are secret for a reason. There are people whose lives are dedicated to keeping them that way.

“Pete we need to be on stage in about three minutes,” Pete nodded, not really taking in his surroundings. His eyes were focused on the screen, searching through emails he had received. He knew it was here somewhere. He got an email from them every year, on the same date, on the same minute.

“Junk mail – junk mail – junk mail...” His eyes stopped when he saw the email he was looking for.

Oh Dear.
I have judged hastily and harshly
I have acted with guile and insolence
I have bared false witness and supported false allegations
I have taken god's name in vain
I have been unduly proud and acted with arrogance

Peter, the neutral are the only ones to side with evil.
We do not need you. There is another.

“Fuckers,” He whispered, slamming his laptop shut and staring up at the ceiling. Patrick appeared behind him and tilted his head, sighing at the expression on Pete’s face.

“Another email?” He asked, and Pete nodded slowly.

“They said something about another. They say that every year, and every year I find out about them taking some other person. I’m fed up of it, it’s like they’re saying it’s my fault,” Patrick shook his head.

“If you’re letting it get to you then they’re winning.” Pete nodded.

“I know, it’s just hard when I know what’s happening.” Patrick sighed.

“Let’s just get this show over and done with alright? We’ll talk about it after we come offstage.” Pete took a breath and stood, dusting himself off and following Patrick down the hall.
