News about the band.
(#) RestlessStars 2010-04-10 10:41:39 PMYeah I agree with what you're saying. I'm not really into them as much as I used to be, which is a shame because like everyone else, I adored them to pieces. But I realize they're all growing up and have families to attend to, but being a huge Bob Bryar fan, I would've appreciated them at least giving us SOME insight as to why the most amazing drummer had subsided from the band. For all we know he could've killed someone (I am being sarcastic obviously, I know Bob would never do that.) and my friend admitted to me that he thinks they're too commercial now. It's just all jumbled but I agree i'm not in high anticipation with the new album. I wish them the best of luck, but I don't have the magic in me anymore...
(#) XxkelseyxX 2010-04-12 09:58:55 PMDid anyone freak out like this when matt left the band? No. Don't get me wrong here, I love Bob but he only did one album with them, it's really NOT a huge deal. They also do not owe us an explanation. Public Relations are a difficult and touchy thing to deal with. They wouldn't keep that information from us "just cause they felt like it". I'd bet a lot of money that there were a lot of lawyers and people in on that decision and it was the right one.
As for the album, I think it's going to be epic. My Chem loves to tour, so that's what they did. Do you want them to just shit out an album as fast as they can after touring and hope its not crap? I think they are amazing for taking so much time and effort to produce an amazing disc for US, the fans. So cut them some slack. If you had a kid and a spouse would you want to spend all day every day slaving away to make a record for some inpatient kids? Probably not! Hopefully this puts things in perspective for you. Have a nice day. =]

Uhh, it doesn't matter if Bob only did 'one' album, he's been there since Life On The Murder Scene. And yeah I think we all have a right to freak out considering Matt didn't put effort into the band, while Bob put his soul into it. Remember Frank saying 'If there's a God, I thank him everyday for bringing us Bob.'
Therefore, Bob was a very huge part of the group. There really wasn't anyone like him. He was funny, sweet, and well..he hated cameras. It's not the fact that he left, cause maybe it was his own choice, it's the wondering why our hero left? He truly will not be the same without him, and for you to say it's not a big deal, that's pretty shitty.
And yeah, we all realize MCR is growing and having families, but that only proves they're only going to get more busy, and chances they're gonna wanna spend their time with their families, then touring, which is completely understandable.
But I bet if Frank left, or Gerard left, then you would consider it a 'big' deal right? So why should Bob be any different???
