  Good small twists from canon in the prologue. I suspect Ron has just managed to totally split Harry & Hermione from him, leaving a "Golden Pair" instead of a "Golden Trio". I suspect his presence will not be missed the next three years. I rather imagine that Ginny and Molly might have something to seay to him, too, as this rather thoroughly messes with Ginny's chances at Harry.
