Why do we have to move? WHY? I was just starting to get use to this neighborhood! Who the hell wants to live in Belleville, New Jersey anyways? If it had to come down to moving again, why in gods name couldn't mom's job move us to a place a little more interesting? Every where I live I end up being the freaky loner chick that no one dares to talk to, I don't know why I even try to fit in anymore. This year I only had two friends, Jake and Sam, and I had to say goodbye to them yesterday! It's going to be hell without them. I've only lived here for a year and a half and I feel like I've known them all my life. I'm never going to find friends like them again. It took me years to find someone so much like me, and I managed to find 2 in the same place! Chances are I'm not going to find anyone like that again! I guess I'll just have to face facts, once a loser, always a loser.

" Susanna! Hurry up! we're getting ready to leave!" my mother yelled from down stairs. "IN A MINUTE!" I shouted back, slightly annoyed that my mother inturupted my train of thought. I just wanted to absorb it all in before I left for good.

My once beautifully decorated room has now been packed away in boxes that were being loaded into a moveing truck. My walls lacked the band posters that had once covered every inch of my pale green walls. You can still see the outline of all of my furniture in the carpet. sigh now off on the long road to New Jersey. Damnit.

I took one last look at my now empty room before I went down stairs to leave my "old" house for Jersey. I slowly decended from the stairs as I heard my little brother, Caine, arguing about something with my mother in the kitchen. I swear that kid believes he can argue his way into getting anything he wants. By them time I got down stairs, they were done, it looked as if Caine lost again. He stompd off to the car muttering to himself. Mom still looked angry so I didn't dare ask what the whole fight was about.
"What took you so long?!" My mom glared at me, with a hint of frustration in her voice due to the Caine issue. "Give me a break mom, It's not like I'm gonna see this place again!" I scowled.
Jesus, that woman is always rushing place to place, I just wanted some ME time with my "old" room! I know, I know, I haven't been there here that long but I get emotionaly attached easily. It's not my falt! Who actually like moving anyways?

I was the last to get out of the house, taking one last look at the past and getting into the back of the car to drive to my future.

I made sure to pack an extra set a batterys for my CD player, which my parents got me instead of the iPod I so dearly wanted (My parents are really cheap). There was know way I was going to tolerate all of Caine whining or the long periods of awkward silences. Plus, music is the reason I wake up each morning.

As I guessed, Caine was whining again, "Why can't we go to Chucky Cheese?!" His sticcato of a voice made me cringe, as I took my place next to him. "Gaw, Caine just shut up!" I mumbled. "MOM! Sussie told me to shut up!" Argh! That little brat is such a pain! "Susan watch it," She gave me a warning glare, "and Caine, for the last time WE ARE NOT going to Chucky Cheese! We don't have time to eat there and get to our house and unpack before it starts getting late!" Can you say worry-wart? I blame mother's genes for my paranoia. "But Mo--" "I SAID NO!!" Caine didn't even get to finish his sentence. When mom started to yell he usually got the hint. He grumbled something to himself and pulled out a gameboy and started to entertain him. Mom and Brad, my step father, were talking about politics, and I finally was able to put in my Hot Hot Heat CD and get lost in the music. The car pulled out of the drive way and followed the moving truck to our new house in Belleville.

---------------------------------- ( latter on that day ) --------------------------------

After several hours, and many pit stops we finally got to our new house. The movers pulled up behind us and started to get stuff out. Caine was more excited than I was about haveing a new house, he immediatly ran out of the car, up the porch steps and waited egerly for Brad or mom to unlock the front door. I got out of the car to take a better look at the place. It was a nice 2-story tan house with a basement. I looked at the houses around me, they looked like the houses you'd find in your avarage middle class neighborhood. Whoop-whoop.

I started to walk to the door that my brother was waiting by, slightly curious to see what the house looked like inside. My parents never brought me or my brother to look at the house before we started to move, we pretty much only know what it looks like from pictures they took while house hunting. When mother opened the front door, Caine started to get super excited. "Ohboyohboyohboyohboyohboyohboyoh--" he continued. He immediatly shot through the door to check out the first floor. "WOW! Look at the size of the living room!" He squeeled in his annoying high pitched voice. I decided to go upstairs to claim my room before Caine got a chance. I don't want to get screwed over with a small shitty room with too many windows like I did 3 years ago. There was never a day that passed by that I didn't wish for on more chance to change rooms in that house. Every morning the damn sun would wake me up before 7 and I'm not a morning person!

I went up the stairs and took a left, down a hall with a total of 3 rooms. After looking at all the options, I decided to settle with the 3rd room. I wasn't big, but it was enough for me. It had a window with a beautiful view of the backyard trees and the houses next door, just in case I was in a stalking mood.(I'm weird like that) "Yo! This room is MINE!" I yelled to everyone downstairs. The movers started to pile my things into the room I clamied for myself. Ha HA! no one can take this room now! Mom and Brad won't have enough energy to move ALL of my stuff AGAIN if Caine wants this room!

I walked out of "my" room to see Caine jumping around in the room two doors down from mine. Obviously he had picked his, looks like I don't have to worry about fighting over mine after all. "I going to take a walk around the neighborhood." I said as I was walking down stairs, to the door. "Whatever" mom replied, too bust telling the movers where to put everything to really care about what I was up to. I walked out the door and started to walk down the neighborhood. I planed on turning back as soon as I got to the main road.

I was walking down the road, when I noticed that the house 5 doors from mine, had alot of noise comming from their basement. As I got closer I could hear that it was someone was playing loud music. Either they had a kick ass music system, or a band was practicing, which would be awesome. They sounded pretty damn good from what I could hear! I walked slowly down the sidewalk as I was getting closer to that house, when suddenly the music stopped, I figured they were done for the day or turned off their music system.

I wonder how the neighbors handle that loud music? When I lived in Virgina, I swear, if you had your music an iota over quiet, some old lady would start wacking you with her cane! True story. Oh god that was funny, Jake, Sam and I were laughing so hard, we nearly pissed in our pants! Ha! Crap, I made myself sad...I forgot to call them. Oh wait! My cell phone! D'uh!

I opened my messanger bag that was hanging loosely at my side to serch for it. I scrambled around looking for my phone, right in front of that house that had the music. I found it at the bottom, as always. Everything that I ever need at the moment is ALWAYS in the bottom of my bag! I flipped it open, and dialed Jake's number. After the third ring I wondered if I should call Sam instead, but at the 5th ring, someone picked up.

"Hello?" It was his mother on the other line.

"Hi, Mrs. Williams. Is Jake there?" It was starting to get cold outside. I was surprised how cold it got this earily in fall in Jersey!

she's wearing a Franz Ferdinand shirt & a long black skirt.
"Sure, honey just wait a minute." My eyes wandered to the house that I was standing in front of while I was waiting for Jake to pick up. It's yellow paint had a weird tint when the sunset hit it. I kinda zoned out while looking at it until I heard someone in the phone.

"Hello?" YES! Jake was there!

"JAKE! It's Sue!" I hope we can wrap this up pretty quick, it's getting really chilly out and dark!

"OMG! How are you? What's the House look like? Did Caine go crazy? When can I kidnap you and bring you back over here?" He was saying it all so fast.

" Fine, The house is pretty cool, Cain is ALWAYS crazy, and Saturday at 8." We both laughed at my last remark. One of our many inside jokes is to say 'when can I kidnap you?' everytime we were more than 20 minutes away from each other, but this time it was way more than 20 minutes, or 20 miles for that matter. We both went silent for a second as we both realized this.

"So how's Sam?" I asked awkwardly.

"The same as he was yesterday." his scarcasm made me simle a little bit.

" Well tell him I said hi, I've got to go. I'll call you tomorrow, okay?!" I needed to wrap this up, I could talk to him alot easier tomorrow, today was just a little too much for the mind to accept.

"AWWWWWWWW! I MIIIIIIISSSSSSSS YOOOOOOOOUUUU HONNNNNNNNEYYY!!" he yelled into the phone, making me almost drop my cell.

"Damnit you're a retard!" I yelled into my cell, holding it back a few inches for my face.

I hung up my phone with the sound of his high pitched laughter in the background. I couldn't help but grin to myself. Everyone else in the world would have thought that we were insane, but in reality we were just weird in a perfect way.

I turned around to walk back to my house, deciding to finish my walk latter. I froze dead in my tracks when I saw a handsome guy sitting on the yellow houses porch, with sholder lenght black hair and a very pale complexion, with his deep green eyes fixed on me.
